The best restaurants in Cold Ash West Berkshire South East

Had Sunday lunch here on 13/10/2024 with our visitors from Scotland. It was delicious and exceptional value for money. Great real ale to. Service and friendliness of both staff and customers excellent. Highly recommend.

Would have scored 5 stars but the (80th) birthday girls scampi was so over cooked she couldn't eat it, such a shame as all the other meals were 5 star. Lovely staff and was not charged for the scampi. The whole evening was lovely.

Having visited twice for two family birthday celebrations I wanted to just thank the staff for there hospitality and friendliness along with the excellent meals we all had and enjoyed. Excellent service nice the landlord takes time for a chat also. Portion sizes really generous so can’t wait to try Sunday roasts

Excellent service, polite staff and friendly service. Both reception and catering. Food was delicious 😋. Will definitely be back.
