I did a web order for a delivery of takeaway food. I was ordering for four adults starters and mains they were delivered on time and were all served hot and very tasty. I would 100% recommend this restaurant.

I went to the Horse & Groom Merrow Pub on Sunday night to celebrate my birthday, but unfortunately it wasn't a completely satisfying experience. I had booked a table near the fireplace, but when I arrived I discovered that there was no fireplace with real wood lit, only a sort of fireplace with a light on, which was more reminiscent of those in the cemetery. The food was quite good, but overall I wasn't 100% satisfied.

Always had a lovely visit, went this December,saw a notification of closure of the cafe after 8years. Very sorry to hear this.

The cakes here are So delicious. My dad and I enjoyed the lemon cake. We very much enjoyed the Victoria Sandwich cake on a previous visit. It's the best Victoria Sandwich I have ever had!
