I would not choose to spend my money here again. Food- below average, service-ok, management- non existent. We were asked to leave our table due to another booking (despite having our table booked in advance for the entire evening), very disappointing experience and won’t return again

What a lovely place to have lunch! A gem of a village deli offering delicious food, good value for money, great service and a friendly and welcoming vibe. The selection of goodies on offer made us feel spoilt for choice and we weren't disappointed either. The ambience was relaxed and chilled out and we felt really comfortable while we heartily enjoyed our lunch. The staff were very attentive and helpful and we would definitely come back...maybe next time for brunch or dinner! Would certainly recommend!

I love this pub but the menu has been terrible ever since it opened. They have finally changed it and much for the better. As ever the service was good and as ever it was a bit pricey- essentially restaurant prices. But overall will come again. Been eating up the hill for the last couple of years but with the new menu will definitely be back.

The place is lovely and the staff were polite.there were 4 off us ,we all had different types of food they all enjoyed there but my food that good ,I had Calamari they were greasy and tasted of fat ,my steak which was grissley but the roast potatoes very lovely .they did apologise and took the steak off the bill. We ordered a takeaway and invited our neighbours to dine with us. We ordered a variety of dishes. The order was accurate and ready on time. Food was fresh, flavoursome and everyone enjoyed sharing, especially the Malaysian special dishes. We've ate in the restaurant on various occasions and have always enjoyed the experience.

A proper traditional pub, no flashing lights or musac. Great food. Well located for walking in the Chilterns - well whatt is left of them after HS2 has had a go at it
