The best restaurants in Rogate Chichester South East

A very useful shop providing not only essential food items but a place to meet in the village with nice views from inside whilst drinking a coffee.

I would rate 4 stars except for the RUSSIAN TEA on the menu. Who drinks this anyway? Putin?

Booked a table for 3 (2 adults and a baby) also stated I needed room for the buggy. When we arrived we were told by a young lady that the tables weren’t laid up yet if we could just wait, I explained we needed room for babyseat and she stated she only had two tables one there wasn’t enough room for us all so we took the other which wasn’t ideal but would do. Are orders were taken all together drinks, starters and mains. It was quite busy so we expected there to be a wait which was understandable but we waited almost 20 mins after ordering to get our drinks by this time had been there for half hour already!the mains turned up before our starters, so the young lady asked if it would be ok to put the dinners under the hot plate whilst we ate the starters. I explained I would prefer to have a fresh meal ideally. After we ate the starters which were good, nice and hot. The mains came out dry, not very warm, we were asked if we wanted any sauces and we asked for apple sauce which never arrived after asking a second time. The pork was dry and chewy, the rest of the meal was very tasty but half way through eating was cold. Overall it was a big let down for us! We were offered 25% off our mains as a sorry and apology due to a new team.

Lovely little tea rooms with small farm shop opposite. Would gave been a lovely experience but weather turned wet/cold and there was limited space inside. Managed to move to a table in the conservatory which was fine. We only had hot drinks and teacakes but food looked good. What we had was lovely. Lovely little play area, good menu and clean toilets.

Superb Sunday roast. My roast beef was perfect and the service was impeccable. Wonderful atmosphere, totally recommend.

Food was fantastic. Staff excellent.

I have never had such a bad salad.It was supposed to be a prawn and avocado but the avocado was missing the prawns were swimming in water and Marie rose sauce. There was one slice cucumber 1 small plum tomatoe and loads of wet lettuce.yuk.
