Cyclists delight! Excellent sandwiches made freshly to order, including amazing ham cheese and tomato toasties made on a griddle . It's fresh and just perfect, with a nice little garden to sit in . Nice fresh fruit as well. This is England at its best and quaintest, and makes a great stopover for cyclists . https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g1036559-d8059398-r963099020-Corner_kitchen_Plaistow_stores-Plaistow_West_Sussex_England.html#

Lovely open fires, welcoming happy staff and well, the food was delicious. The menu isn't massive but it did not disappoint. I can highly recommend the mushroom starter! Burger looked amazing. I should imagine booking is recommended but we did walk in and was seated . The Christmas decorations gave it a beautiful feel....will definitely be back ! Thank you team.

As the only pub in Loxwood, with a traditional 'pub' feel, including open fire, family and pet friendly, an enormous 'plus' is the restaurant which specializes in 'smokehouse' meats. This was our second visit to the Onslow since its rebranding and the quality of the fare and experience as a whole was consistent. This has now become our 'go to' pub/restaurant of choice. Long may they continue.

I was picking up my car from a garage in Kirdford. to think my wife are bringing Me across I decided to stop at the half-moon pub to treat her to lunch as we approach the pub the front door appeared locked however there was no times of opening or closing or no menus we walked around the side to find people inside as we arrived towards the rear of the pub we presented with a beautiful garden and I noticed a rear patio door I opened the patio door and a man said what do you want? I said are you open? His reply was the front door is locked. What does that tell you. I found this to be extremely rude considering they are supposed to be serving the publicyoung lady came up to us and told us sorry sir we’re not opening until midday at this time. It was 1146 whilst the pub was closed. The man’s rudeness has made me realise I never need to visit this pub again. I’m not sure if he’s the owner of the worker chef or just someone in there, but I found his rudeness to be completely and utterly unacceptable on this occasion.
