The best restaurants in Donnington Chichester South East

I have enjoyed a number of good meals here over the years. I take no delight in saying, therefore, that the takeway (expensive) I bought this evening was awful. The calamari starter was seasoned slop, the Tandori Murg main course was a medley of bitter flavours verging on the acrid, none of which, to me at least, suggested the Tandori flavouring I had anticipated, and even the Pilau rice contrived to be greasy. I binned the lot after a few mouthfuls. Was the chef having a day off? The portions were double the size any reasonable person could cope with. Owners should cut the quantity and concentrate instead on the quality.

Dejamos un comentario para el hotel también, ya que se supone que esto era parte del hotel, pero fuimos allí y dijeron que no estaba seguro de si nos pueden servir comida ahora (hora del almuerzo), pero pueden preguntar pero no pueden garantizar nada, otro chico llegó dijo que sí, pero consiguió 5 - 10 max para elegir la comida, experiencia horrible, pero tuvimos que pedir como tenía hambre y nos alojamos en el hotel esperando que fuera como cualquier otra bebida del hotel comer disfrutar de uno mismo, pero este no es el caso aquí

We left a review for the hotel too as this supposed to be part of the hotel but we went there and they said not sure if they can serve us food now (lunch time) but they can ask but can’t guarantee nothing, other guy arrived said yes they can but got 5-10 max to choose the food, horrible experience but we had to order as was hungry and we staying at the hotel expecting it to be like any other hotel drink eat enjoy your self but this is not the case here

We used to regularly visit here and order takeaways during Covid times. The pizzas used to be great. On Friday we returned with a group of friends. Service was warm but incorrect on two orders, which they swiftly rectified. However the pizzas have gone seriously downhill. Nasty cheap greasy cheese and flat bases, no resemblance to the authentic pizzas they once produced. We will not return.

Booked for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed !!!We very lucky with our seating and the food was absolutely delicious. All parties agreed the portion size was generous but flavour of the food was by far superior to other restaurants we had visited. The only negative was the wait for the food but I suspect it is due to the popularity of the Restaurant 😊
