The best restaurants in Weald North Ashford South East

Been to this Pub for the last couple of Sundays and can highly recommend it. I always go by how tasty the gravy is and this one beats many others. Lots of lovely veg too. The staff are delightful 😊

Brilliant night at the chequers. 4 course meal with Aperol Spritz aperitif and Limoncello for £45.00 a head. The food was superb with choices to suit all tastes. Atmosphere was excellent. Please do it again we want to try some of the other choices on the menu!

Lovely experience enjoying an afternoon tea with a glass of bubbles! Really good service and excellent food, some of the best we have had. The gluten-free request for one of us was no problem and of exceptional quality, especially the scones, which are challenging to get right, but these were great. We really enjoyed ourselves.

This is a proper old skool pub. The food is utterly amazing...lots of it cooked with attention to detail. Sunday roasts were just divine. Veggies are made a star not an afterthought. Cheese board was epic too. Im not local but will be back next time im with my friends

We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

The George pub has now closed down Sadly , lovely Village and could really Benefit from this pub reopening and giving the locals a community Spirit once again. Such a Shame

Booked for lunch, having not been here before and had a superb lunch. There was a good atmosphere and all staff were lovely as was the food. Will definitely return.
