Heard great things about this hidden gem and it didn’t disappoint at all. Great setting. Great food. My only (petty) negatives would be food could be warmer and front of house a little less nervous. As I say, petty. All great and helpful IF spoken to first. Can’t wait to attend again next week for their themed evening.

Delicious !! Huge range of foods and drinks. Food was great!! If you want a quick bite to eat or sit down for a catch up with a friend. The girls are brilliant. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Always pop in here when I visit the strand. It’s always our go to location when i meet up with my sons and grandchildren. Coffee is the best and cakes on offer are always delicious. Staff and managers always friendly and polite

My wife and I stayed in a farmhouse cottage. The couple jim and Ann made us feel very welcome, loads of places to visit we had a week of sunshine. Only problem there's no signal so you need WiFi but lovely place

Oh my word, I cannot praise this place highly enough (L20), it's a restaurant attached to the catering college for students to train in. The three young waiters who served us were absolutely brilliant, they gave us plenty of attention without being intrusive and made us feel really comfortable. The food was cooked to perfection and it was such a well constructed menu, I think it was actually the first time ever that I ate everything put in front of me!! Only found out as we were leaving that it was the 3 lads first day providing service, believe me, they will go far 👏👏👏. At £21.50 for three courses you could not ask for more, we'll definitely be back 😋xx

The establishment was immaculate, I've never seen a place as clean as Sam's. Food portions (chips), large. Food quality (chips) 50 50. What you could eat was very good but unfortunately there was quite a few crispy bits in there so about a third of the chips had to be thrown away. Would I go back, not really.

Place is a dive holes are over floor used to be a brothel and bar next door where all the local tarts would go. Avoid this whole area if possible.

I love this place! I booked a tea party for my birthday. The table was set lovely with China plates, tea cups and saucers. Food was served on plate stands which was a great selection of sandwiches, pastries and cakes. I'm vegetarian, which was catered for and we finished with a scrummy cream tea consisting of scones, butter, jam and cream. Tea and coffee was plentiful and included in the price. We had a really enjoyable time. The staff are great and very attentive and had even put up birthday banners, which I thought was a lovely touch. I love the fact north perk cafe is a social enterprise and part of charity Ykids. Your money is helping disadvantaged children in the local area. There is always a happy, laidback, chatty vibe here.
