SAM'S Fish & Chips in Sefton

First visit here, must say not disappointed, fish and chips were cooked to perfection, will certainly be back.

The establishment was immaculate, I've never seen a place as clean as Sam's. Food portions (chips), large. Food quality (chips) 50 50. What you could eat was very good but unfortunately there was quite a few crispy bits in there so about a third of the chips had to be thrown away. Would I go back, not really.

Love this place, staff are friendly, food is lovely especially the noodle boxes!!! We’ve had a few different middle boxes from various chippies but these are just amazing! Would recommend this chippy 100%

Nothing bad to say about this gaff, every meal I have had has been on point. They're reasonably priced and the staff are chatty and helpful. One of the few places in Seaforth that does me scollops.. bit of curry and boom! Winner!!!🏆

Best onion rings and chips and gravy.

I've always just had the basics chips, sauces, sausage and fish and they're always lovely , unfortunately for me tonight I decided to order fried rice which looked delicious but I couldn't eat as it was riddled with onion, really should have been an added extra if requested. Never known anywhere that added onion before so never asked about it and so it Went In The Bin , What A Waste Of Money , lesson learned, if I want Chinese go to my usual places but for fish n chips , Sam's is good. Definitely won't be wasting my money again and there was so much I wanted to try on the menu but will just go elsewhere instead . Such a shame

Had fish and chips from Sam's the other night....it was bloody lovely. Loads of chips and the batter on the fish was nice and crispy. Would deffo eat from there again. Actually I'm about to go and get special fried rice and a chicken chowmein (chowmein was recommended by somebody)...Will let yoh know later what it was like. Staff great and quick service.

1st time visiting this chippy but defo won’t be the last , food was unreal price was great and the service was fast and class

What a great chippy. After a visit to the beach we googled local chippies and spotted Sam’s was the only one in the area with 5 stars. Absolutely delicious “fresh” perfectly cooked fish, with very tasty batter and the chips were just right … none of your flabby chips; nicely crispy and slightly caramelised. And excellent value!

Unreal chippy best we have had in ages the crispy chilli chicken is unreal and the salt and pepper chicken is big pieces of proper chicken ! New favourite chippy

Just used them for the first time and the staff are really friendly and welcoming, the portions are generous and the food is DELICIOUS! If nothing else try the garlic and chillie drumsticks, they're amazing. 100% recommend

I have just been to this chippy for the 1st time My meal chicken and char siu with black bean sauce was absolutely delicious The best I have had in a long time I will be using this chippy from now on if that meal was anything to go by
