Great place for a quick pint. Friendly staff and management and pleasant clientele

Chicken makinwala 10 0ut 10 the cheese and garlic nan gorgeous they have really turned things around the meals are fab.

We ordered a party bucket for 4… everything was unbelievably perfect …possible the best kfc I’ve had in my life..!

The Chippy is opposite the gym and it takes me back to when I was a kid getting chippy after going swimming. I went around 5pm and the chips were perfect. Just the right amount with the small (£2) and a great balance of bigger chips and crispy bits which I love. I also had a couple of sausages which were just right and a small gravy. Came to £5.20. I might get the sausage dinner next time which is £4.50 but I wanted to try the gravy on its own first. It seemed almost a waste to put the gravy on the chips because they were so good on their own, so I just dipped! The gravy compliments the chips really well.

2nd time ordered food from Kens 1st time was excellent and delivered within 30 minutes . Tonight food was supposed to be 45 minutes delivery but waited 1.5 hours and it was cold so not very nice . We are only 5 minutes away by car from the takeaway . We I rang to say it was late and they said it was on its way but still waited another 20 minutes . Very pleasant delivery driver though .

Got a chip barm.Bun was bigger than the box about 10 chips in the barm. bone dry . Worker behind the till was on another planet . Wouldn’t bother getting it delivered , delivery driver looks like he’d nab a few chips before it gets to you. Never mind the pizzas, they looked like they’d been sprinkled with an athletes foot dressing of moist skin. kebabs gave me runny poos and the mayo was the colour of mustard.

Was there on 23rd December for a pre booked Santa's grotto with the two grandkids ... probably the worst grotto and Santa ever ! We learn by our mistakes, I'll give Whittaker's grotto a big swerve in the future.....

Waited over 2 hours for rock hard cold chips , cold kebab meat , no chilli sauce . Thought I'd give them a try , never again . Top tip don't pay by card , once they have your money , your food is no longer their priority . Should have stuck with spice chilli , The place nextdoor , always hot food and delivered in a acceptable time frame

Everyone was served their meal, the food was lovely however one person had ordered vegetarian option. Waited and waited and waited. 4 requests asking for . 20 mins after we all finished, all plates had all been taken away, the meal arrived!! Appalling service.

Staff freindly but music was to loud 2 televisions but only for watching couldn't hear anything because of the music

It was negative and the scran was more moldy than ye nans toes. When I received my 2 sausage roll for 1 deal i noticed that one of them was stale as frozen bread and the other was as mushy as playdough. Overall my experience was pony and I'm deeply disappointed

Really lovely place - we thought we would try once when out shopping as we live in Huyton and the Coffee House is excellent. Such lovely staff as well we will certainly maker a point of calling in again whenever in the village,

So disappointed with how things have been cut back here. There seems to be less staff on, which is hugely disappointing to see. There is also now a strange push that everything is in takeaway packaging, even when eating in. Which for a cafe in the centre of a park, is extremely bad for the environment. Have been coming here for several years now, and it's really gone downhill fast. Having seen other Espositos across the boroughs, they don't seem to have the same issues of staff cutbacks and lack of basics like real cups and plates. All this just gives a very clear indication that Espositos doesn't really care about quality for the people of Kirkby. What a shame.

Its a lot more pleasant place to visit now its got new staff, no more growls, smiles and pleasantries for the win!
