Extortionate amount of time to wait, poor service, no apologies! Won't be using again.... Staff taking far too long making drinks, new staff? Inexperienced staff? What a shambles

Brunch for two. One has vegetarian breakfast and the other had scrambled egg on toast with a side of roasted vegetables. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. The staff are friendly and most important, the place felt nicely clean but with character. The whole experience has been a treat. Well done.

The one constantly inviting item on the menu of Greggs is their sausage rolls, in Kirkby we are lucky to have an outlet in the town centre, love dropping in here and indulging in a few of these wonderful snacks, proper comfort grub ,in here always served in perfect condition, love them ,staff in this Greggs outlet are lovely and friendly which is an added bonus, if your shopping in Kirkby Town Centre most definitely well worth checking out.

One of the oldest boozers in Kirkby is The Peacock Pub ,a pub I always enjoy dropping into as I live only around the corner from it. A traditional pub ,multi roomed ,pubby decor and furnishings ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating both inside and outside ,a lovely pub to unwind in. Dropped in here on a Thursday afternoon ,ordered guinness ,poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle ,my twin brother Ste and I chilled out and enjoyed our pints of the black stuff. My guinness was really good ,thick, creamy and most importantly served freezing cold ,a proper pint of guinness ,in my opinion the best guinness in Kirkby. We stayed here for two pints each before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a very pleasant time. The Peacock Pub is easy to locate along Bigdale Drive. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, midday till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Had a good day in The Windmill Sports Bar in Tower Hill,Kirkby, lots of family and friends made day of it here. I love the look of this bar, interior is superb, multi roomed, a cool looking serving bar, big screens to enjoy the sport, pool tables which are free to use and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside in their courtyard. We stayed here till closing time, enjoyed beers, vodka's and some whiskies, loved the time we spent in here ,its a bar easy to locate and most definitely well worth checking out if you're in Tower Hill. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday.

Shopping is a pain to me ,I have to do it but I don't enjoy it ,it bores me but sometimes it's not such a bore, walking around Kirkby Market I purchased some great cheeses to go with some amazing craft beers I had purchased on a holiday over the Christmas period in Cologne & Dusseldorf ,after getting several cheeses I stopped by Fuel Stop Cafe in the market ,ordered a coffee that was served steaming hot and chilled out. Coffee served in here was spot on ,tasty, strong and great value for money, its hardly surprising that this cafe is so popular with coffee of this quality, its easy to locate in Kirkby Market in Kirkby Town Centre and well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The most amazing food, so delicious and fantastically priced. Service is also fabulous, friendly, fun and welcoming. Loved by both vegans and non-vegans. Highly recommend the buddha bowl, roast dinner, cooked breakfast, kebab, goulash and pie. On dessert front the bakewell, custard slice, carrot cake and jam and coconut cake are personal faves.

Fui aquí animado a probarlo por el esquema Eat Out to Help Out.

So disappointed with how things have been cut back here. There seems to be less staff on, which is hugely disappointing to see. There is also now a strange push that everything is in takeaway packaging, even when eating in. Which for a cafe in the centre of a park, is extremely bad for the environment. Have been coming here for several years now, and it's really gone downhill fast. Having seen other Espositos across the boroughs, they don't seem to have the same issues of staff cutbacks and lack of basics like real cups and plates. All this just gives a very clear indication that Espositos doesn't really care about quality for the people of Kirkby. What a shame.

Lovely lunch and a warm welcome at this hidden gem just off the high street. I enjoyed the quiche from the specials board and the homemade cakes are a must - we couldn’t resist once we saw them being delivered to another table!! Good atmosphere and definitely worth a visit.
