Ordered lunch for about ten of us at work today the food was excellent well recommended will definitely be ordering again fantastic prices too

My friends and I pre-booked the Christmas lunch menu. You could choose 1, 2 or 3 courses and each course had 3 option's to choose from. We all of course choose the 3 course option and it takes a while to decide because everything sounds really good. We arrive and the atmosphere was so lovely, it was full and although the cafe is small it didn't not feel over crowded. People are talking and Christmas songs are playing quietly in the background. Not everyone was having the Christmas menu as this had to be pre booked in advance. I had the prawn cocktail to start and it was lovely fresh and just the right size I'd say for a starter. My friends had different starters but we all had empty plates, so I'd day it was good. Then we all had the turkey dinner which was yummy and wow big. It had plenty of turkey, all the trimming and the pigs in blankets could quite possibly be the nicest I've ever tasted. For pudding, 2 of our group had Christmas pudding and one had the cheese board. Again all empty plates at the end and some very happy ladies. The turkey dinner was so big, I was unable to finish the whole plate, I was aware I still and Christmas pudding to come and I didn't want to miss that. I asked if I could take what I left home and the lovely waitress happily accepted my request and later returned with a takeaway box containing my surplus food. I asked if I could also have a cheese board to take home which again was no trouble and the team happily provided the cheese board in a takeaway box. All the staff were polite, friendly and happy to help. The atmosphere was kind and had a cosy community feeling like everyone was welcome. I could go on but all in all it was a lovely afternoon with friends, at a difficult time of year. Yes I said it, Christmas is not my favourite time of year, but today felt chrismassy, but not over baring. The kind warm atmosphere made me feel good. Went for an afternoon tea for my friends baby shower , lovely food , lovely atmosphere the lady is so helpful and friendly , had a lovely afternoon , would certainly recommend this place

Unusual set-up for a coffee shop but i would describe the vibe and food offerings as a cafe the sandwich was sub par but hot chocolate was nice and the cream was heavenly,pricing was okay but didn't get a welcoming feel.

Food is decent after 8 min in airfryer , dont get how cold they are less than 4 min away??dont order to reheat ffs

Best milkshakes in town also have order quite regularly from this place and I tried the crepes with strawberries and chocolate Nutella sauce wow fantastic also tried the lotus cake fantastic honestly love the way they make the milkshake my favourite is Jimmy dodger fantastic service friendly stuff make everything fresh I’m hooked On the desserts here, best place must try

First time tonight I've tried this takeaway and it was delicious will definitely be using them again only negative I didn't get the salad I ordered

Went last night just before the takeaway closed, I asked for a tikka roll and the so called manager said they didn’t take card (however in the window they had “we take card, which I noticed when I turned round), clearly didn’t want to serve me cause they was close to closing yet the door was open for customers.. another member of staff said yes we do take card and said that’s the boss aswel.. shocking… my naan was cooked normal but the chicken was thrown into the microwave, I received my tikka roll, opened it and it was like someone had drowned it in water, was as if someone poured water all in it, won’t be going here again, shocking customer service, if you can’t be arsed to service your customers before closing time, shut your doors.

Just moved in earlier this year and was looking for a local chippy, well I bloomin found one! Propper chippy with classic menu including potato dabs and propper chippy prices! Also the staff are lovely the young lady that served me was so friendly and chatty I could have stayed and eaten my chips there chatting. Propper chippy propper chippy prices! Will definitely be my monthly take out treat !

Have eaten from here a handful of times over past two years. This evening (31-Oct-2023) fish is pretty lousy. Doesn’t taste like either Cod or Haddock; it is cooked ok, just the flavour is not good Will try somewhere else next time
