Chef Rob Owen Brown runs this unique street food operation from Easter weekend to the end of October each year, Thurs -Sunday 4-9pm or thereabouts. It's situated in the grounds of a lovely marina in rural Cheshire, there are moored narrowboat here and wide open spaces for a long walk through the fields if that takes your fancy. The mainstay of the food that Rob cooks here is pizzas, but oh what pizzas they are! Thin crusts, charred and full of flavour with loads of different topping to choose from, believe me I've tried them they are delicious. He also offers a changing specials menu which could be almost anything. I've seen game offered, katsu chicken wraps, half a roast chicken with rosemary and garlic and loads of other things too. There's always puddings, waffles sometimes and cheesecakes. You never quite know what's going to be going to be on, but it will be worth a visit and be delicious. This evening I had roasted sea bream with Mediterranean vegetables and garlic potatoes, it was fabulous. This is such an unusual venue, it's hard to give a realistic view of it. The food is amazing and next to the food cart is a re-purposed narrowboat ( out of the water) which serves as a mini pub. Loads of wines, beers on tap and bottled too, spirits and a comprensive range of alcohol free drinks. If that isn't enough there's glamping, camping and a lovely onsite cafe. Just come, it's amazing xx

Surprised nobody has mentioned you are directly under the flight path for Manchester airport so we got woken circa 4am both morning of our “relaxing weekend away” by the very noisy airplanes. I am a light sleeper though so perhaps bring earplugs if you are also. We were booked into a camper van spot with electric hook up which to be fair was a lovely set up BUT upon arrival (before the 7pm cutoff) reception was shut and when called the mobile number provided there was no answer. We proceeded to what was obviously the area for campers but was confused how to get into the spot as the road you have to take says private no entry - apparently you do take this road then turn around and have to reverse into your spot. As nobody was there to greet us, there was no signage and no email was sent with instructions we did our best to position into the correct free spot. Upon parking up we were approached by a very angry unhelpful man - presumably the owner but no idea as he did not introduce himself just lectured us on how we should have parked. This was our first trip in our “new to us” van so were unaware if this is normal procedure or not but rest assured we will most certainly not be returning. Also if you want to use the toilet in the night there are no guiding lights so take a decent torch. There was 1 ladies, 1 gents & 1 disabled toilet then 2 portaloos which were further away for us so didn’t use - and I can’t stand them.

We ordered a range of sandwiches and wraps for my mother's 80th birthday party a few weeks in advance. We agreed a price and delivery to the venue for the party. Everything was delivered on time, and the food was delicious! Normally, vegan options tend to be a bit predictable, but they were a bit different. Likewise, the main selections were varied and interesting. It wasn't a place that we would have initially thought about to cater for an event, but we are glad we did.
