The best restaurants in North Turton with Tockholes Blackburn with Darwen North West

Just had the most amazing lunch at the Black Bull. I had Beef Stew and my partner had Chicken Parmigiana. Both meals were delicious! The meat in the beef stew was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely cosy country pub, staff are really friendly, good music and dog friendly. Food was excellent and reasonably priced, would recommend the goats cheese and beetroot salad. Will definitely return.

We chose this venue because my husband is a train fanatic .and a real small station is next door so every hour a train comes through. Cam is excellent nothing to much trouble the rooms are warm and cosy just like the whole of this venue the food is amazing like the staff we will be back . And the bath after the walk around the reservoir was so welcome .

Lovely little village shop, lovely service, this is why 3 stars, we have been 3 times and sadly our last, the ice cream is poor considering it is supposed to be premium, water crystals in the ice cream on each visit with all flavours tried weak in taste, cherry, rum & raisin, cookie dough, white chocolate and more. I don’t like writing reviews like this but the ice cream is not good enough and that goes for what is sold at the new shop in Abbey village. Find a better premium ice cream or change the method of making.

We stopped here for food following a walk round Wayoh Reservoir we all had the Sunday roast which was lovely and the children had the margarita pizza. Really nice food and reasonably priced. Would recommend.
