When you walk into this store you really do appreciate how many different beers are brewed in the northeast region of England. There is an amazing selection of beers and there is nothing better than being able to enjoy a good local brew on a long train journey. Prices are varied but value for money especially considering the quality and range of beers sold. Also excellent for any last-minute Christmas shopping you need to do before boarding the train home!

Had a lovely drink sat outside whilst visiting Marske. Really lovely inside, too, with a great colour scheme. Excellent service.

The first sign that this was a good choice was that the majority of the customers seemed to be Chinese families. We ordered what we thought were small dishes but which turned out to be very substantial. The prawn toast was unlike any Iâve ever had before! Prawns wrapped in complete â sandwichâ of sesame toast. absolutely delicious. My granddaughter wanted â garlic lettuceâ which was cooked lettuce in a sauce - again gorgeous but really filling. The only thing not to our taste was â spare ribs in black bean sauceâ which was not what I was expecting and I thought tasteless. Everything else was delicious. However take a lesson from us- we ordered far too much and brought home two complete dishes! ( not counting the spare ribs which we left). So just order a little then add as required!

Stopped off for brunch on route from Leeds and were delighted with our poached eggs , guacomole and Parma ham on toast . Perfectly cooked and my daughter loved her iced coffee cup and glass straw with a butterfly on it ! My cappuccino was the nicest Iâve had for a long while . We loved the decor and the service was excellent . So glad we found you , thank you for being one of the highlights of our day .

We have ordered take away from Grande many times and it has never disappointed, hot, tasty and very filling. It's hard to describe how good it is! The restaurant part itself is small and is restricted to only a handful of tables so I would recommend booking beforehand but size doesn't matter when you are serving food of this quality. You will not be disappointed! Reasonably priced and serves throughout the day . I'm yet to try the breakfast menu but what from what I've seen of it, it looks delicious. If you've never tried the food, it's a must! If I could get away with it, everyday would be a Grande day.

We booked a business lunch on a Saturday in Newcastle and Andersonâs were happy to deliver from Morpeth. We had a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. Ross and the team did a grand job. We also had a list of all the allergens. That was very helpful.

A local favourite. Lovely cakes/desserts served by friendly and efficient staff. I havenât tried the breakfasts or lunch meals but they seem to be very popular.

The savoury food platters, we ordered 5 packs came all boxed up, all we had to do was open them and people could help themselves, no knives and folks needed, it was finger food and it was displayed beautifully and tasted lovely, real homemade style, it went down really well at the garden party and a lot of people praised the nice spread ,perfect for a non hassle party!
