The best restaurants in London

For the first ever London afternoon tea for these 2 Americans…..we couldn’t have chosen a better one. The hotel is gorgeous, along with a beautiful dining room. Now for the tea. Savory options were spot on. Chocolate scone was a bonus I didn’t see offered anywhere else. The sweet top tier was delicious, unique and fun. The added bags of to go candies was awesome. Oh yeah. The tea. Wow. The Fruit Salad was so good……we took home a few bins. To top off the whole experience, our server Jade was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny and an overall great server. She made our day. Thank you Chesterfield. Thank you Jade.

The food feels quite standard and doesn’t warrant the prices.

Good fish and chips , worth a visit

Staff are always great, beer range is excellent, but the food is now as good as the rest of the pub! Had a chicken and beef roast, fish and chips for the kids, all great. Would recommend for families, super family friendly pub. Also has premiership games on across the pub, and plenty of space to sit.

Sultan served ourselves and made us feel like kings and queens. The Steak was extremely succulent and mojito drinks were exquisite. Well worth visit

Best vegetarian option I've ever tasted - aubergine with tahini crust. Great sharing menu - we loved it all thanks - dishes put together with such care & flair.

The food was absolutely delicious; the staff were really helpful and friendly; and we loved the rustic, but cosy, decor. We would definitely go again if we were in that part of London.

We came here for our Scout Leaders Christmas Party - there was 9 of us and they managed to seat us altogether. The restaurant is small - but, it’s very cosy. We ordered a real variety of dishes and it all arrived swiftly. It was incredibly tasty - and, the portions were fabulous. We had a lovely evening.

Staying at Crowne Plaza and they wanted £25 a head for breakfast.. went to Cafe Maya and ordered the full English with extras .. my lady .. beans on toast.. class food class value ❤️👌

Si te gusta el pescado, este es tu lugar. Los calamares fritos eran excelentes. También comimos ensalada de alcachofa, filete de atún y pasta. Mi marido no disfrutó de los ñoquis con camarones debido a la salsa "inusual", pero mi fetichismo era excelente. Vimos al personal poner una gran exhibición de pescado fresco de todo tipo. Los camareros eran geniales y hacían buenas recomendaciones sobre vino y comida.

Fui por el té de la tarde de cumpleaños esperando un delicioso té. Qué tengo Una taza tibia de té débil. Se quejaron de que trajeron una mezcla diferente Todavía Luke caliente si eso fuera posible. En cuanto a la comida muy pobre 4 bocadillos de dedos cada uno que en justicia eran promedio. Esperó una hora y finalmente se les ofrecieron bollos. No caliente, frío, con indiferente mermelada y crema Luego 3 pasteles , también promedio y para este momento teníamos que salir como solo asignado 2 horas. En conjunto una experiencia pobre y no repetir
