The best restaurants in London

I lost track of time after going to an exhibition at Whitechapel Gallery, and in search of a place to have dinner at 9pm, almost lost of hope, I found this delightful restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. Having seen a few Indian restaurants closed, no doubt due to gentrification, it was great to see this new place thriving, with local families and fellow solo diners joining this evening. I enjoyed trying new food such as momos (nice spicy dumplings), and Gol Gappe Dilli Walle (crisp spheres with chickpea and sauces to fill them) to go with my kung pao chicken. It tasted so good, it was hard to leave some for leftovers! The flavours were delicious and just at the edge of my spice tolerance, which I take to mean it was authentic. Although more staff may be needed at times, the waitress was friendly and was able to explain different dishes well. I enjoyed the music and was still able to read my book whilst eating. The final sweet offering wasn't really for me (a bit of aniseed perhaps), but it was a nice gesture. I didn't want to spend too much and found it to be affordable, but next time I would get some rice and breads to balance the flavours for my delicate palette. I can't wait to come back with my partner and/or friends and try more dishes!

I always like this place I go weekly once for their paratha I really like the food great

Gup Shup is a fantastic spot for authentic North Indian and Pakistani cuisine! The food is absolutely delicious—flavorful curries, perfectly spiced kebabs, and soft, freshly baked naan. The Food was not good then Biryani Was not good enough and Was not spicy as it's Asian biryani It should be spicy.

Impeccable experience from start to finish. The whole team were really welcoming, friendly and professional. You could also tell the effort and attention to detail from the kitchen. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place for a quick and tasty snack)

My wife and daughter plus 4 friends went to this pub yesterday Easter Sunday And I can assure you that we were not disappointed at all it has to be the best food in any London pub we came over from Ealing in west London and Ealing has a lot of pubs to eat in but this is the best of the best A big thank-you to the staff and a special thank-you to The lady who runs it We will be returning soon Yours faithfully Charlie Campbell

Food and service was, as always excellent

I ordered this for myself young daughter for dinner, but it came smelling very tasty and the food was delicious too. It may be pricey, but it is well worth it and the wait too. The staff at that restaurant cooked it tender without rushing it.

Some of the best sushi you can have in London! It’s great that they can prepare fresh sushi or you can take a prepackaged box. A really easy takeaway lunch.

Cracking pub for cask / real ale drinkers. The folks from the Sutton Arms have done a bang-up job with the interesting beer selection. Variety of styles from porter to pale and at sub £6 prices at the time of writing. One worth travelling to as you can have a super session here.

Savoury Vietnamese food, I just ordered bun mam ( grilled pork and spring roll) for a quick lunch. Will come back to try other dishes next time.
