Great taste. Garlic chilli was so tasteful ,Specially Himalayan lamb and starters was super. Loved to visit the place once again.

I’ve been coming to Captains for over 10 years now since I was a child, and it never disappoints. This place is the definition of a proper traditional fish and chip shop. The food is always freshly made, and the portions are generous. The team at Captains is always friendly, and the quality has stayed consistently high over the years. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic, well-made fish and chips & everything else is top tier too.

Exceptional food. Never knew this place existed. Was recommended by a friend and was dubious. What a hidden gem! Food was certainly worth the wait. The lamb chops are some of the best I’ve ever eaten and the salmon with dill is out of this world. Will be highly recommending this place and will be back very soon. Delicious fresh food. I had the dhokla and paneer pakora. Both were served with chutneys to compliment them. I would come back to try other dishes from their menu. There were extremely busy; whilst I was eating for about 10mins, there was a steady flow of orders.

I didn't like the rude attitude towards people, when I asked to turn off the air conditioner or close the door to the street because it was very cold and it was 12 degrees outside and we were with a child, the owner answered me rudely, "You don't have to pay for the children, so let your children forgive" Of course, the impressions after such a thing are very bad

Bombay sandwich was brilliant, packed full of flavour and filling but sandwich all week. Chicken Biryani arrived hot, tasted OK, portion size was big but was a little dry...just a little adjustment needed here.

The food is amazing, cannot fault it at all. We just need to support these guys and help them make enough money to make the interior better.
