Best service! The red wine at Gola was a fantastic choice to accompany my meal. Smooth, full-bodied, and with a perfect balance of tannins. It was the ideal match for the rich flavors of the dishes. Highly recommend pairing your meal with their selection.

Tomé el té clásico de la tarde aquí en agosto, que era fantástico, así que traje a mi hermana aquí para el té festivo de la tarde la semana pasada. Desafortunadamente fue muy decepcionante. El pan para los bocadillos estaba duro y seco. El sándwich de rábano picante y carne de res en particular fue decepcionante: una rebanada delgada e insípida de carne de res en pan espeso y seco con un pequeño trozo de rábano picante insípido. Los bollos se servían calientes, pero eran muy densos y secos y difíciles de comer. ¡Ni yo ni mi hermana pudimos terminar nuestros bollos, lo que es la primera vez para nosotros! El stollen fue un toque agradable, pero desafortunadamente no sabía a auténtico stollen en absoluto, y por lo que no lo terminamos. Los canapés y los postres eran agradables, y el servicio era bueno, pero la experiencia en general se arruinó por la comida no estaba a la altura esperada.

This place was fantastic. The staff were incredible and so friendly and the food was some of the best I have had for a long long time in London. Specially as (to my knowledge) it doesn’t have a Michelin star. Highlights for me were the squab pigeon and the mince meat soft serve (yes you read that correctly, unreal). Had a lovely chat with the chefs in the back, the front of house and the pastry chefs (Ben, lovely lad with great chocolate writing) on the pass too. Everything from walking into the door (Dorchester Hotel, as you expect) to every aspect of service and every little touch throughout the night. Couldn’t recommend more, will absolutely be coming back. Thank you to all the team and thankyou for the fantastic time and service provided.

We booked a meal here for our family for Christmas eve. Not been before as it is a bit tucked away from the main road but had heard it was very good, charcoal grilled food. We had attentive waiter and our meal came out hot and within a reasonable time. I had the charcoal chicken wings for starters and they were delicious as were the prawns. All of us were very happy with our food and we all left with a full stomach. Portion sizes were generous and were in keeping with the price. The restaurant has a relaxed, cozy feel with a warm ambience and as it overlooks the river it has lots of outdoor seating which must be lovely to sit out in the warmer days. We will definitely be coming again and have recommend this place to our friends.

Our waitress, Alex, provided outstanding service throughout the evening. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured our dining experience was seamless. Her friendly demeanor and prompt attention to our needs truly enhanced our visit. I highly recommend El Vaquero Mill Hill for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience with excellent service. Be sure to ask for Alex when you visit!

This restaurant was amazing, it was better than the real Istanbul in Turkey. The food was excellent and the staff were super friendly. I was a bit worried with all the negative reviews, but now I am even planning to come again with my family. They gave us a complimentary Turkish tea and baklava at the end of the meal and at the start, they provided us with bread and unlimited refills on chilli and garlic sauce. I would definitely recommend coming here, but remember to check on the back of the menu for smaller children’s portions, vegetarian options and an allergy list.
