La Cigale in Southwark

Me alojé con mi compañero por 3 semanas justo arriba de Vancouver, BC. Era mi ir - al lugar de la mañana para un gran café con leche, y tuve que charlar con los propietarios todos los días. Gran café, comida, servicio y ubicación. Muy recomendable como alguien que disfruta de un buen café y deliciosa comida!

Great location of breakfast or lunch, I usually get hot chocolate with a sandwich and really happy with all the options! Great service and ambience!

We popped in to pick up some coffee and pastries after a walk around the area. The couple running the cafe were charming. Delicious, fresh cannoli and coda di aragosta filled with vanilla/pistachio cream were a delight and the coffee very good. It lifted my spirits in these dark Covid days.

La Cigale preparó dos bandejas gigantes de todo tipo de panini para nosotros e incluso agregó hermosas ensaladas al lado. La comida era deliciosa y me encantó cada cosa que probé (¡y todos los residentes locales que se unieron a nosotros para un picnic también!) Incluso hacen sus propias baguettes y el personal es muy agradable.

Apareció aquí para un almuerzo rápido y tenía un panini encantador. Buena variedad de sándwiches, que puedes personalizar. Ambiente agradable y acogedor - terminó quedándose por una hora y tomando un café. Lo más destacado es el servicio al cliente, que es muy acogedor y amigable. El único inconveniente es que está justo al lado de una carretera principal, así que no esperes fantásticas vistas.

Perfecto, buena gama y excelente servicio. Una mezcla de delicatessen y café. Productos sudafricanos, cigarros, grandes vinos, influencia portuguesa y cubana también.

I went there for a coffe and panini, overall good quality . Glad to see it’s run by family, father and son business . I was served my a guy young guy he was very happy with plenty of smiles. Good customer service.

I have a coffee at La Cigalle a couple of times a week. It's not the trendiest but the staff are very friendly and the coffee is the cheapest in the area, and tastes good too.

My wife and I just popped in for a cup of tea, a cappucino a cheese and onion pasty and a baguette. The coffee was excellent and the tea fine, the food was basic but OK. The coronation chicken in the baguette could have been spicier and much more plentiful. At £4:50 it is quite expensive. A good cafe for a snack. It is also, unusually for what appears to be a cafe from the outside, fully licensed.
