Absolutely Disgusting”🤮 ordered a lamb Shank, one ☝️ of my favourite dishes, probably a lovely piece of meat until some plonker got his hands on it. These people need to learn how to cook before they call themselves Chef’s. Waiting at the table for 25 minutes to be served, staff totally ignored us, not even offering to serve us a drink 🥃. Served in a small soup bowl swimming in mashed potato, that had turned into soup. Looked like some sort of Peasant Gruel, we have decided to cancel our Christmas Works dinner planned for here {Staff and Clients} 56 people in total.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunchtime there a few weeks ago. Friendly staff and took home some delicious scones for afternoon tea. We will be back soon.

Today 17 of our Norton Owners Club had our annual after Christmas Dinner at Chalfonts Cafe. We have been before so new we were in for a great time, and yes just as before, great food and very friendly service, a great time was had by all. Nothing is too much trouble for Janet & Johanna. I attended with my family and thought it was very overpriced for the quality of the food which was below average. Also the owner had two young girls working for her and how she was speaking to them infront of us made us feel so uncomfortable she was belittling them infront of other customers and it was very uncomfortable to witness. The girls appeared really hardworking but it was evident she was making them nervous. The lady shouted across the cafe inront of other customers did they get your order right?! They may have been her relatives working for her but no excuse please treat your staff a bit kinder and don't make customers feel awkward and kern to get out of there as soon as possible!!! Very dissapointed and won't be returning!

We live local to the White Hart, it's our number one choice when we want a high quality meal out, the food is fantastic & reasonably priced.
