The best restaurants in Linton South Cambridgeshire East of England

Lovely venue, friendly efficient staff, great food. Ordered steak and was given a steak knife, didn’t need to use it as steak so tender. Lovely choice of desserts. A bit on the expensive side for a pub but we will definitely return.

We absolutely love this restaurant. We organised a celebration for daughters 21st. !5 close family and friends. Josh and Jade really couldn’t do enough to make the evening go well. From helping us sort out a set menu to organising a big table for us, it was perfect. The atmosphere and surroundings were perfect, the food was perfect, the wine was perfect, the service was perfect. I cannot recommend Pear and Olive highly enough. We have eaten a number of times at The Dog and Duck and it is always reliable and welcoming. The service is always helpful and efficient and the food is excellent: delicious goat's cheese salad, gorgeous roast beef and fantastic burger. All this and a great atmosphere in a proper pub.

Has been updated and is now called the Bengal Lounge, new management perhaps? Had a very nice meal with good service, very tasty and spicy Korai Shashlik. Worth trying.

Not brilliant food and service is poor. Food missing and promised it would be re delivered. Waited an hour and still a no show. Just full of bull for excuses. Helpful though as made me realise it worth driving 6 miles the other way and getting good food and service.
