The best restaurants in Girton South Cambridgeshire East of England

I have passed this place so many times and never been in, finally I made it and I wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere, food and service were great. Staff were very friendly and accomodating for those in our party with dietary needs. The price was very reasonable too for the quality of food, I definitely be back again to try something different.

Good food and drink. New owners really know how to cook! It's neat, clean and tidy. Nice modern setting inside.

Booked a table for 5 pm, as they were busy earlier. The young man in his 20s who served us was outstanding. He was really friendly, knew his stuff and made my wife and I feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, even though he was rushed off his feet. Good variety menu and reasonable prices.

The restaurant was advertised as open for hotel guests until 9pm but they decided it was going to close as it wasn't busy. We arrived at 7.40pm and saw a couple eating in the restaurant and waited for 10 minutes whilst different people were very negative and unhelpful and said it was going to close despite a large sign at reception saying 9pm. We went to bed without dinner due to the long drive we had. I often stay here but won't plan to eat here again. Very poor service.
