Probably one of the best dining out experiences for a long time. Good honest food at good honest prices. There were 15 of us in all for my wife’s birthday lunch. Because we have 7 grandchildren we wanted somewhere that could accommodate us in a family friendly atmosphere. Kirsty was our hostess for the afternoon and from the moment we arrived up until we left she was all over it. She instinctively knew what we needed and sorted us out accordingly. She was brilliant with the kids and nothing seemed like too much trouble as we trawled through the menu deciding what we wanted. My eldest son is a celebrity Tv chef and even he could not believe the level of service we received. A big THANK YOU to Kirsty for looking after us and the other Kirsty in the kitchen for the fantastic food and Simon for making sure the birthday cake was looked after until we needed it. All in all an excellent experience.

Surprised I had to add this place to TA. Staff are always polite and helpful. Selection of hot or cold food is very wide. Selection of bread ar etoo

Came here for Sunday lunch, weren’t the best I’ve had, had to send food back as it was cold but even when it came back from being reheated still wasn’t any different. No salt and pepper on the table. The lady that served us was really lovely though! Maybe try here again in the future but not for Sunday lunch!!!!
