Nazeing Fish & Chips in Epping Forest

Really tasty fish, chips & curry sauce. Friendly staff. Would go back anytime.

I would never be desperate enough to use this fish and chip shop again. The owner was awful to his staff and was telling a male member of staff off so loudly I couldn't even think straight to place my order. Threatening to cut their wages. I now wish I cancelled my order as when I came back to collect it he was then berating a female member of staff. Despicable behaviour.

What is there not to like about this place. Food is amazing. All staff friendly. Always a que so that tells you that this place is good. Helps it is the only chippy for a few miles but I norm travel a few miles to come here as the food is worth it. Keep up good work lads

I phoned in to make an order, and they instructed me to come in and order, abruptly ending the call. When I called back and questioned the hang-up, the response was, "Just come in’, not a sorry followed by another abrupt hang-up. So rude

This is a great local chippy : the food is always tasty, especially the chips and the staff are all really nice. I've never had a bad experience here.

We ordered children's fish coupons got home and found we had chicken nuggets.

Chips dry and tasteless how hard is it to get right. A Potato

Delivery arrives hot and the fish still has crispy batter. Not sure how they do it!

Delicious. You can also relax - sit and eat delicious fish chips😋🤤 I recommend it to everyone. And Tartar sauce is delicious with fish. Come and eat. And not expensive.

Best fish I've had, none of that soggy batter you end up with.. had the perfect crisp to it. Chips were OK, few hard ones but not bad. Curry sauce was amazing, would definitely come here again if in the area

We got a delivery from just eat and the food turned up hot (live in Harlow). The food was delicious and well worth the money. Portion are big as well and would highly recommend 🙂

Fantastic quality fish and homemade tart sauce.

After a long walk we was starving and saw how busy but speedy the fish 'n' chippy was so thought that looks like a good shout to eat. We didn't wait long but I didn't like the saveloy at all (it resembled a rubber like texture on the inside, I had to tear it instead of snapping it in half) so that ended up in the bin but I did semi enjoy the chips (they had a strange taste to them but I was starving) lovely place to stop and sit though to rest your legs

Normally very good fish and chips but tonight was very disappointing. The fish was no were near the usual quality, hope they haven't changed supplier's and tonight was a one off

Have used Nazeing Fish and Chips since being a child! Great food and service and now on Just eat for even easier ordering and delivery. Would recommend.

Tried to order 5 cod and chips for 1 mile away, they asked me to pay £89. So kindly asked how much would be to collect; reply; “lot cheaper, forget it” and hangup on my face. Impolite telephone service..!!!

Just had my first of order from Nazeing F&C. Excellent.Food was delivered through snow and ice promptly and still hot. Perfect fresh fish with light batter and very good coleslaw. We will certainly be regulars now.So happy to have found this restaurant.Not had F&C since first lockdown.Nearly a year.

It is £16 for haddock chips, let that sink in. In total, for 2 people this was over £30 for 2 fish and 1 portion of chips. For that money, it wasnt any thing special. They also missed my drink off the order. £1.50 wasted.

Great service, friendly staff. Only issue is you should not advertise “great quality food”, and sell customers re-fried chips at the price of the fresh chips. Very disappointed.

Just had cod and chips, one portion shared between me and my daughter, absolutely delicious, couldn't fault the meal at all. Even fussy 8 year old daughter ate it all. Would definitely recommend

9 out of 10 times we’ve eaten here’s it’s been delicious. They were friendly when we first moved to the area and customer service has been great every time we’ve visited. Both fish and chips are fresh and you get a decent portion of food. Even there £5 lunch time meal we got today was a nice amount of food. They give you forks and tissues without asking which is nice. I’ve noticed that they park there taxi across the road to save extra space for customers which is nice. I just wish they were open later!

Great fish and chips. Well done to the boss for choosing recycled paper boxes and wooden forks instead of single use plastic. Good green move guys and another reason why I only go there for my food.
