Friendly staff great food. Food prices

I didn't have a meal myself, but friends who did said it was very good & value for money.

Had the Lamb and Rosemary pie which was virtually inedible, the pie crust needed a chisel to open it and the "meat" inside was dry, very disappointed

Love this relaxing dog friendly pub

The toilets are in need of care and attention, especially the men's, the urinals do not flush. Which redults in a urine smell. The lock is broken on one of the ladies' toilet doors and has been a while, no hot water for hand washing and lighting not great. Which is disappointing as the pub area looks great. Lovely friendly staff. This could be a fantastic place, but ls let down greatly by the toilet facilities.

Didn't eat so can't comment but the rest was a nice clean pub

First time visiting. Lovely pub, huge portion sizes absolutely stuffed, no room to look at desert menu. Lovely Ice cold lager. Friendly staff gave me a huge jug of extra gravy! Thanks guys 👍🙏

A bit of a mixed bag. Food range of choice good and reasonable prices, but our sausages well cooked. Other patrons behaved well, had a sense of humour and respected our peace to have a family meal. Really grateful for that. Service at table was fine and not hurried. Dog friendly. Large car park but absolutely pitch black on a rainy night with some light commercial vehicles appearing to share the car park. Be careful reversing and watch for potholes. Dropped an extra star for that! Maybe go again during daylight hours

Disappointed, there was no steak on the menu, although when we checked on the website it was offered on the menu.

A good selection of ales, ciders etc. Slightly awkward inward opening doors that make carrying drinks to the beer garden more difficult than it could be. Tables outside a little warped making pints more interesting.

Thought we would try a new pub, very impressed with the drinks choice available & very nice pub. Friendly staff and good prices too. Two outside areas which was great in the sun, didn't try the food but would like to, quiet location too very peaceful. Will return again soon!

If you want a traditional country pub with lots of parking space and friendly staff and customers I am sure you will like this place.

It was a very well attended charity night. Great music from Marakesh and the service was good in a really busy bar.

Charged £6.90 for a glass of lemonade and half a larger.

8 of us went for our Christmas lunch and wasn't disappointed best one I have had in a pub will certainly be booking next year Thanks to Jackie for looking after us and Mark for his cooking

Not a pleasant pub, in need of drastic refurbishment old and tatty not well looked after would not recommend

We use to use this pud a very long time ago as our Christmas Dinner time drink up , this time was a 30 year later get together

5 stars for the food, they do nothing but roasts on Sundays which I have to say were excellent. If you are looking for plush surroundings and ambiance this is not the place for you, it's an old pub that does good food at a fair price

Visited here for a roast and it was delicious the staff was friendly and helpful will definitely be going back.

Went for Sunday lunch. The pub has good parking, outside seating and is a lovely old pub, with beams. Service very good, lovely dinner. I had roast lamb, with homemade sausage and onion stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower cheese. The gravy was delicious. My husband had the beef. The only fault I could find, was that three customers brought their dogs into the restaurant area. We ended up with five dogs of assorted sizes in the very small dining area, not very hygienic to my mind.

What an absolute gem we stumbled across. The atmosphere ,settings and playlists is amazing, what can I say about the food!!! Bloody GORGEOUS AND HUGE. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Roast Beef just melted in my mouth. As for the staff, very friendly attentive positive and friendly. Will definitely become locals here. Perfect Sunday Thank you. X

My only complaint are the very very loose toilet seats in the ladies. I sat down the seat slid to one side and I nearly fell off!!!

Very nice country pub, sadly when I visited No Bitter and out of fish and chips. Enjoyed liver and bacon will visit again when in the area.

This is an amazing pub food is soo tasty and fresh. Staff and very polite and friendly. They really make you welcome. There were 17 Adults and 2 children on our Sunday lunch and the service was brilliant a big thank you to all the staff that helped to make us a wonderful special day x

Just as I remember it from when I lived near here 35 years ago. Great simple pub food at incredible value.

Friendly pub. Only serves “Roasts” on a Sunday so you know it’s all fresh and home made. A good portion too. It was yummy and filling. Will definitely visit again.

Good beer and food. Sandwiches particularly nice - well filled and fresh bread. Fire burning and creating a nice warm atmosphere.

Only went for a drink with my son. Good social distancing, nice staff, reasonable prices. We sat outside in grassed area. Lovely watching the horses, nice and quiet.

Bit dark n dingy inside, but we ate outside which was nice. Staff were friendly and the sandwiches we ordered were very nice indeed.

Decent little secluded pub with friendly staff. I was part of a large group of approx 15 people, each person ate and they handled the large quantity of orders. Food was tasty, decently priced, decent size portions and reasonable prices. Would recommend.

Good food and lovely staff. Scampi is fantastic, the fish was too and lemon chicken was nice.

Sunday lunchtime choice of roasts available beef pork lamb and chicken. Took a long te to arrive qas told would have meal shorrly after waiting 25 minutes then took another 20 minutes asked for lamb got pork one a bit slices was ok. Chicken was mainly leg meat with a little breast some of our partt got 2 yorkshores some got 1. The eoast potatoes were excellent. The aunday roast market is highly competitive and this meal was very average.

A great little local. Limited beers, but an interesting 'Lancaster' room for those visiting Just Jane.
