Service was very nice , staff were very kind and polite , love the atmosphere of the place , however... the food we had was the hunter chicken and camemburger, the hunter chicken was dry and over cooked. The camemburger was burnt and all you could taste was burnt meat... food was not really nice , not for the price either

I've wanted to go to this pub for ages. The reason being it was Keith flints pub. I was absolutely made up that I've photos of me outside which I'll frame. I do live far away so this has made my year being a big fan. I went inside and it was not what I expected. To be honest it has some nice charm to it. A real nice country pub. Prices are reasonable and the bar staff very friendly. I would recommend and would love to go back again.

Every week I look forward to going out for Sunday lunch and I’m sorry to say you really haven’t got this right for me. The Yorkshire pudding was small soggy and flat. Crispy fluffy potatoes they were not, soft with barely any colour. The red cabbage was so over powered with spice it was medicinal. I missed out on a pudding as I didn’t want any potential further disappointment. On a plus note the servers were pleasant and efficient. Won’t be returning.

We went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch .We both opted for roast beef and this came with the usual trimmings. We ordered an extra Yorkshire pudding but had we known how HUGE they were we wouldn't have ( They quite literally take up half of your plate )and also cauliflower cheese which was delicious but pricey at £7 . The lunch in general was OK but that's it..The meat was tough and very overdone (shame they don't offer a pink option ) The roast potatoes were awful quite obviously frozen and the veg was hard and very undercooked ..The Yorkshire pudding was lovely as was the cauliflower cheese but the rest was below average..we had to keep asking for more horseradish as it came in a teeny teeny tiny pot ..I had 2 to myself and could have done with 2 more and my husband wanted much more gravy .Our bill for a bottle of prosecco , 2 beers ,1 coffee and our meal came to £103. The service was good although we did wait a long while for a dessert menu .It was a pleasant busy atmosphere but pricey for what it was . We wouldn't go back .
