The best restaurants in Upper Wensum Breckland East of England

As always , first stop in Norfolk. New menu but still the same quality. We orderes a take away cake ( Coffee and Walnut as usual) and it was , once more , excellent. Great coffee too

Popped in today for a drink as in the area . (Recommended by Nicky George landlord of our local , The Greyhound Swaffham .) I can't agree more when he said it is a little gem . Will be reserving a place for a meal soon The food looked amazing, same are our drinks .😊

My wife Mim and I had Sunday Lunch today and it was superb 5 different vege plus roast parsnips and potatoes with homemade Yorkshire Pudding. Jay and his team so welcoming and friendly. We are here for a few days, if we lived near I think we'd be there every Sunday. So reasonably priced. We may live well over an hour away but we will be back!!!! Thank you

We are local and mean to try this pub , it did not disappoint, great band playing and really friendly staff . Will defo be back soon

Haven't been yet!! but I am this weekend... and to all the "nay sayers'' I'm going not prove you all WRONG!! YOU must have been having a bad day if you think the coffee was bad etc or the staff were rude. Village stores pride them selves of both good food and lovely staff... I'm looking forward to it....!

Arrived without a reservation, we were offered a choice of tables, served drinks and given a menu. The Staff were attentive and very pleasant, the food was excellent and the service faultless. Little touches like a jug of water and two glasses delivered to the table without us having to ask. Will certainly return in the near future.
