The best restaurants in Upper Wensum Breckland East of England

As always , first stop in Norfolk. New menu but still the same quality. We orderes a take away cake ( Coffee and Walnut as usual) and it was , once more , excellent. Great coffee too

I have been here twice now and all I can say is wow. The food is deliciouse service relaxed and easy going and prices great value. On tonight's visit the chef came and visited our table for feedback and a chat. He was very keen to hear our thoughts and explained his menu. I will definitely be visiting again. One other thing was the barstaff and serving staff in the restaurant. They were polite knowledgeable and very friendly. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Lovely pub - great drinks, great cozy atmosphere with lovely seating and a fireplace and great service!

The pub has a great friendly atmosphere. The bar staff are fantastic, and the landlord made us very welcome. The food is fantastic.My friends and I will definitely be going back very soon. Thoroughly recommend a visit. 👍👍

Haven't been yet!! but I am this weekend... and to all the "nay sayers'' I'm going not prove you all WRONG!! YOU must have been having a bad day if you think the coffee was bad etc or the staff were rude. Village stores pride them selves of both good food and lovely staff... I'm looking forward to it....!

This is a lovely pub...greeted by friendly staff and a nice logburner with high back chairs to sit in.....reason for our visit was to celebrate birthdays, the menu choices are good and very reasonable, would recommend the sausage & mash, battered cod &chips and sticky toffee pudding 😋 Steven our host was very brilliant at remembering what we all ordered...and played a fanfair birthday when he brought out the cake.. Nice touch 😁 we all appreciated it....👍 Will defo come again here as its well worth the money. Thank you for acomidating us all....kind regards
