Family run business that make Great various homemade breads and their pizzas are top notch too, would highly recommend if you're in the area!

One of the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had!!! Chips just tasted of old dirty oil, the battered sausage was soggy and completely inedible and the friend chicken was dry and tasteless with the batter uncooked on the inside. Meal was so awful it was inedible, complete waste of time and money. Was left feeling unwell all night and wouldn’t return again. Avoid !!!!!

A very friendly and welcoming dog friendly country pub. The food here is amazing, you will not be dissapointed. The landlord is one of kind and an exceptional host. My favourite local spot.

I thought I would try lunch here and went at 12.30; the website indicated that they would /should have been open from midday, but they were closed.... There was no signage indicating opening times on the door. There are plenty of other venues offering lunch and I won't be going here again.

Checked reviews before booking and looked good. Ordered 4 roast dinners. Food arrived with the red cabbage , mashed carrot and swede, pigs in blankets. Cauliflower cheese and gravy missing. We were told it was on its way. Waited some time and food was getting cold. Started to eat and were 3/4 of the way through when a tiny bowl of cold cauliflower cheese arrived for 4 (looked like it had been scraped out of the bottom of the dish). Eventually the staff came back to say that they had run out of the rest of the veg and that we had been given other veg as a substitute (a spoon of mashed potatoes). Poor customer service and attitude. 😏
