Sadly this review is not based on the food but of the lack of forethought of the owners. We took a 54 mile motorcycle ride to get to the restaurant having checked beforehand that it was going to be open. Both website and Facebook state this cafe is open on a Tuesday. Unfortunately the owners have decided not to open during the week in winter but are too lazy to update their website or Facebook page letting you know this. Be aware this cafe is not open weekdays in the winter. We ended up turning around and finding an alternative venue.
A few reviews on here have confused it with Delhi bites, which is an Indian takeaway in Loughborough. Deli bites is a greasy spoon on Nottingham Road, serving excellent breakfasts and lunches at reasonable prices. The staff are lovely too.
Best cod and chips in town, always fresh and good meaty fish, never watery like other places. And the batter is yummy. Staff are brilliant and so friendly.
Great location for a chilled out coffee. A hotspot for students but great if you don’t mind that. Quiet a lot of the time but busy enough to people watch if that’s your thing (it is mine). Would love some more outdoor seating when the weather is nice but there is plenty inside, comfy seating or high up barstools too if you prefer. Would like a bit more selection in terms of pastries but that’s minor for me.
Staff are always amazingly helpful, super polite and great with the kids! 👌🏻
Me and my boyfriend go there all the time as its right out side his accommodation, staff are incredibly friendly and have good meaningful conversations with customers (instead of the small talk that you get everywhere else).Nothing is ever too much for them as they are always kind enough to you if you want to change something with your meal or dietary restrictions or requirement. Best kebab I've Ever had and my boyfriend adores the burgers. We will definitely be returning there soon. Becca x
My wife and I were staying in a cottage in solgrave and ordered a takeaway from here. It was delivered to the door within a hour. The lad that delivered it was very friendly and polite. The food was excellent and still hot. They were very good size portions good service and good food will definitely use again when in the area.

What the hell!
Expensive and get sweet naff all
When they first opened they was sooo good but just going down hill either chance your prices or give more!! 🥴🥴
Fab customer service and excellent customer support.
Really spoil me with delivery of Fresh, Tasty, Hot meals... service is amazing, I don't go anywhere else now.
Highly recommended. Xx
My daughter and 19 friends visited Bingham back yard for ice cream, mocktails and tango ice blasts. They really enjoyed the food, drinks and surroundings. Thanks very
Much to the team for being so accommodating.
I visited with my mother and my 2 young kids. Kids loved their breakfast baps which seemed to be made with oven bottom muffins which were tasty.
I had scrambled eggs on some very hard crunchy sourdough toast with some extra beans and tomato from the add on breakfast menu. My tomato was a quartered salad tomato still fridge cold whereas I would have expected this to be a sliced and cooked / hot tomato.
My mum’s poached eggs on sourdough toast was on undercooked toast barely more than bread so wonder if the toaster was turned up when mine was cooked!
Didn’t seem to be any salt on the tables just pepper.
Cakes were okay but waitress / server didn’t know what one of them was when I asked which I thought was unusual in the current allergy climate. She seemed new and a bit lacking in confidence.
Scenery was beautiful and was quite quiet. Think more could be done with the deli but I would visit again.
We was supposed to go to vandellas for mothers day but due to the virus the owner had to close the doors to eating inside. The owners made my family a afternoon tea to takeaway. Even though it would have been nice to eat at tea rooms in the lovely surroundings the owners did not disappoint. They had presented every tea individually for each of us and put a beautiful bow on the box that the tea was presented in. Thank you so much for all your efforts.
