Park in Dinky Dino's and go left around the building and you will see DK's cafe. Small well laid out "old fashioned type" cafe, no fancy frills here with staff that were welcoming and friendly. Small menu with a specials board, big breakfast was tasty and great value.

Small, neat and tidy cafe set on the edge of an industrial estate. A lot nicer inside that the outside with simple white decor and quirky signs. Set in the same building (but separate) to Dinky Dino`s Soft Play. I believe the same people run it and they share the kitchen facilities. Do not fret though we couldn`t hear the kids! This was my first visit, for breakfast with a friend, after she`d had recommendations from family. Small menu with the usual breakfast and lunch items. Handy to note that although a vegetarian breakfast isn`t on the menu they were happy to rustle one up. And it was very tasty and well cooked. A really enjoyable visit which will be repreated.

Simply the worst fish and chips I have ever purchased. I'll not say eat as I didn't get that far. They went in the bin. Arrived at tea time. Not busy. Ordered mini fish meal with curry. Told me the fish would be fried fresh. I didn't see the fish and chips being wrapped. I was stood outside the shop, collected my order and travelled the short distance home. My suspicions should have been aroused by the amount of oil that was seeping through the wrapping paper onto the mat on my van floor. On unwrapping, the fish was a burnt brown colour, soaking in oil with not a hint of crispness to the batter. The oil that was not soaked in the fish was the colour of, well I've seen cleaner oil come out of a gearbox. Chips were soggy, oily and again awful. All this for £11. I'm not sure but if you order the items individually it is cheaper. I'll not be checking as never going back.

Quick visit for a pint on an autumn evening. It was on my list to visit, but had to make a special effort as it doesn't open until 4.30 pm midweek. It was worth the effort. Good real ale. Nice fire. Nice atmosphere. Very friendly barman.
