Popped in by chance and what a lovely place. Staff very helpful seeing as we hadn't booked. Drinks served with our lovely, plentiful delicious meal. Ambience is perfect. Recommended and a great place to visit. Should imagine in the summer it's even better

Lovely, lively atmosphere. Buzzing with life and laughter as we entered. Shown immediately to our reserved table, drinks brought over quickly, order taken and meals delivered promptly. Food was just DELICIOUS. Clearly a well thought of local pub, who also welcome occasional visitors. Highly recommend. 😊

Probably the best pub pie (game pie) we've had. Cracking pub, good ale & amazing food.

A lovely pub with friendly staff, who were particularly welcoming and kind to our dog. The food was simple but tasty and extremely good value. We had Bradfield beers on tap which were delicious.
