Had a beautiful Mother's day lunch at Tandem Tea rooms today. Huge selection of sandwiches, savouries, cakes and scones. Great value for the Mother's day special lunch. We had to take our leftovers home as just too much to eat! Lovely happy atmosphere.
Great food. Nice atmosphere. Good service. For a dosa place, you do have to remember it is not food that will all come at once, but it is still very speedy. They are always, however still never feel forgotten about. Same level of service the last few visits, so very happy to recommend
Visited Keswick for my stag doo, fuelled the day every morning with a coffee and sausage roll from yonder. Both amazing! Best in town! The staff made us all laugh and had the best customer service. 100% recommend
This is a very nice casual local eatery on Highbury Corner. Our last visit followed a dog walk in Highbury Fields. We shared the halloumi fries which were great and then I had the beef taco and OH had the kebab. Everything was really tasty. A handy spot that provides good value,
Why haven’t I heard of this place before? Honestly, the best cup of coffee I've had in years. Amazing place. You can really tell the owners are passionate about delivering a super high standard offer. Blows the chains out of the water! Well done guys.
Very dog friendly, greeted with a bowl of water for the dog.
Really lovely food, outstanding service and the most friendly and helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely return and highly recommend it!
I absolutely love to eat out,& out of all the places I’ve ever eaten which believe me is alot Leaf & bean at Washington still remains my all time favourite.Staff are always so friendly & welcoming & nothing is a bother to them.I usually get panini & homemade chunky chips which is my favourite but I have also tried the vegetarian breakfast which was also delicious. My friend usually has the homemade quiche with chips which she always enjoys.Portion sizes are always fantastic & quality of high standard. My favourite dessert here is the cheesecake especially the chocolate one but if not available they have a great choice of homemade desserts & my second favourite is the cherry & almond scone warmed with jam & cream. The pot of tea is always enough to have some left to enjoy with dessert but staff will happily top up if you run out. They also sell beautiful flowers & homemade crafts which is an added bonus.leaf & bean is well worth a visit.
Fantastic authentic tasting food. Best onion bhaji we have ever had and the lamb in the Karahi curry was so tender! All round great meal & service! BYOB, another bonus & amazing value for money! Will be returning for sure and highly recommend!
Whilst in Jedburgh we thought we would stop in. Unfortunately, the cafe is now close but they do still have a takeaway shop around the back (well signposted). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They described each item well and gave us recommendations. There wasn’t an abundance of selection but that is a positive because it suggests they focus on quality over quantity. I went for the charcoal salmon and cream cheese bagel. It doesn’t sound appealing but it was nice. The bagel was chewy and the filling was decent. I also got an almond croissant which was large and had a good pastry to filling ratio. I did find that some bites of the pastry was drier than others but it was still a very good croissant. My wife got a apple crumble cruffin which was sweet and again had plenty of filling. She wasn’t blown away by it but it was quite nice. My mother in-law also got the almond croissant which she also enjoyed. Overall for all that it was £18.50 which for a bakery is very expensive in my opinion. I do like the shop as its cute and has a variety of loafs and I get the impression they change the items frequently.
Fabulous cafe, easy to find. Great coffee, sausage roll and lovely, friendly staff. Wish we had one like this close to where we live. Definitely recommend
