I love this café. Great menu, tasty food, and friendly staff. I was studying with a couple of friends and they were more than happy for us to be there, which is unusual for cafes who usually try kicking you out if you have a laptop. I had the granola bowl which was so tasty and great value for money. I will be back soon

Exceptional. We hired Paul from the Petite Chouette to cater for a full weekend for a family get together, including a 4 course private dining experience on the Saturday evening. The food was fabulous and Paul was a delight. He offered a selection of menu option as requested and catered for our culinary needs. The highlight was the private dining experience which also included wine pairings. Paul was knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. The food was amazing. We will definitely use the Petite Chouette again and after tasting the exceptional wine and cheese, I will be ordering a monthly subscription box.

I always like to read reviews but not really one for writing them. However, this place is so good I feel I must. A visit to see our son in Kingston is never complete unless we have been to Mimosa. We accidentally fell on this little place a year or so ago and used it as a coffee shop. However it’s so much more than that. We went in yesterday to share a bottle or two of delicious Portuguese wine which turned into a lovely Portuguese meal as well. Hoping to return today before we depart for home to have coffee and cake. It’s such a lovely place with very friendly, extremely knowledgeable staff who are always eager to please. Karen

Imagina que vuelves en tren a Stirling después de un largo día en Edimburgo. Cansado, gruñón y hambriento caminando por las calles. Todo lo que quieres es un café de tostadores poco ortodoxos. Pero el lugar está cerrado y la tienda de vinilos al lado también. Entonces te encuentras con un tipo caminando hacia su coche y diciendo “¿cómo estás?”. Tienes una pequeña charla sobre café y otras cosas, terminando con un regalo (café molido) para llevar a casa a Alemania. Sucede solo en Stirling, Escocia, frente a asadores poco ortodoxos. El tipo que conocimos fue Neil, el dueño del lugar (asadores poco ortodoxos), que reabrió su lugar solo para darnos este regalo para salvar nuestro día! ¡Increíble! Muchas gracias, mi amigo, disfrutamos del café hace unos minutos en casa en Alemania recién hecho con nuestra pequeña máquina de café expreso! Fantastic family-run bakery, we visited almost every other day during our 2 week stay in Polperro and very much enjoyed the freshly baked bread, sweet & savoury treats, as well as a great selection of vegan items. Highly recommend and kudos to the very talented baker!

Popped in for coffee and cake when visiting the area. The lady who served me was so friendly and welcoming, we had a chat about the cakes and the weather. I had a slice of clotted cream cake and a coffee - the cake was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Wish I’d stayed for a full lunch. Would thoroughly recommend.

I had brunch with friends on sunday morning. Kind waiters and tasty food (avocado toast and greek yogurt with fresh fruit).

Absolutely delicious and friendly spot on Thornton Rd, a 20 min walk from City Park. Loads of vegan and veggie options available - Syrian traditional food plus burgers/wraps. Highlight is the kunafa itself (dessert!)

What an absolutely amazing afternoon we had yesterday for my daughter’s 30th birthday. The most incredible place with attentive staff from entrance to exit. Welcoming and friendly throughout the few hours we were there. Thank you so much for making the occasion extra special, nothing was too much. Best bottomless brunch in Exeter by far! 👌👍🎉😀

I had heard good things about The Cornish Italian but the time never seemed to be right for me to visit. Well the time as right last night and I’m really very glad I got myself going and out the door and up the hill. The lobster and crab chili linguini special was simply outstanding. Service was just perfect and lovely ambience with quaint Italian music. Good value too. I will return with friends. Thank you.

Quaint and welcoming spot for a cup of tea and slice of cake . Popped in after a walk on the beach - dog friendly as well which is great. Enjoyed tea and a slice of lemon cake - generous portion,as well as super tasty. Will revisit when next In the area.

Popped in for a takeaway coffee. Wished I’d had time to stop and eat. This is a very funky place. Coffee was great and the staff friendly. Liked like great cakes.
