I booked this on a whim as was looking for a chefs table experience that wasn't crazy expensive. And am SO glad I did. I won't spoil it but the whole experience starts with the venue which is something special in itself. The food was just incredible *chefs kiss* - each course talked through by chef Pamir. Even though there were only 9 people at the chefs table he took the time to explain each course to us in smaller groups of 2/3 - from inspiration for the dishes, to ingredients and cooking techniques. Food was unique, fresh and delicious. Wine pairings were perfect. Pamir's whole team were incredible- chatting with us and answering questions, even taking music requests at points! If you want incredible food and something a little different/quirky - if you like fine dining but without the pretentiousness - this is your place. I'm so glad we found it and already planning to go back as a group of 10.

We had a really wonderful experience here. We were given a voucher as a gift. I wouldn't go thinking you are getting your kebab and chips that you have after too much beer on a night out. This is as sophisticated as it gets. The tasting menu consists of small dishes prepared on a heated bar in front of you by very knowledgeable and talented chefs. The Maitre D was very personable and knowledgeable about the wines and made us feel very welcome. We chose the drinks pairing which meant we spent a lot on top of the food and I probably wouldn't do this again as I didn't enjoy the sake nor the craft beer. I would have preferred a nice bottle of wine, but that's just a personal preference. I would definitely recommend going here for a fabulous event rather than just a meal.

What an experience. Some of the best food I have ever eaten. Firstly, you are taken to a special chefs table underneath the main restaurant. The food is all served on the heated table in front of you and eating with your fingers is highly encouraged. Every dish was meticulously constructed AND most importantly explained to you before you ate the dish. All cooked and constructed in front of you. Absolute 5* experience , with flavour combinations you couldn’t imagine.

A feast for all the senses. Beautiful to look at. Unbelievable flavours. Original drink pairings. Presented with passion by engaging and enthusiastic hosts in great surroundings. An all round amazing dining experience which we will be repeating. Soon. Very soon. I’ll say no more except if you haven’t tried it, you probably should.

I don't want to give too much away as the experience is part of the delight, but I can safely say this was one of the loveliest meals I've ever had! The food is obviously the 'queen' of the show and every course brought exclamations of joy, but the drinks pairings were perfect to enhance it all. The team has got everything just right and they are brilliant hosts. It's lovely to see the passion and dedication first hand and a privilege to be served directly by such pros. Thank you, I hope to visit again,

What a find… This was absolutely one of the best dining experiences we have had! The tasting menu and drinks pairing experience were amazing. The food was cooked to perfection with so many different flavours and the chefs explained what they were serving.. how the food was prepared and what the different ingredients were. The drinks pairing complemented the courses brilliantly and the host explained why he had paired each drink with the different courses. We had two lovely Saudi Arabia guys sat next to us who were a joy and made the evening even more fun… The whole ambiance of the restaurant was fabulous and the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.. This restaurant is absolutely a totally different experience and one not to be missed .. we will definitely return.

Kebab Queen was quite simply the best meal we have ever eaten (and there have been a few). No pretention or matching price tag, just innovative, delicious, high quality food cooked and served by those who are passionate about what they do. Fabulous décor and chilled out tunes complete what can only be described as a dining event rather than going for dinner. We would happily return to greedily gobble the same menu tomorrow which is quite the accolade for a tasting menu. We also failed to name a member of our friends or family who would not enjoy this experience (apart from my mum, but mums, right?). Highlights are too plentiful to name. I played it safe with a delicious fizz but my husband thoroughly recommends the drinks pairing which, quite shockingly, matched the food really well (ha, it's almost like they know what they're doing). Bravo Kebab Queen, we'll be back (if we can get a reservation!).

I visited here as a colleague of mine had bought tickets for it a while ago so I wasn't really sure what to expect. What an experience. We arrived and ordered a cocktail before everything was ready and spent a few minutes before being directed to the speak-easy style restaurant area which was behind the kitchen below ground. The area itself seats around 10 people and we were a group of 3, with two other couples. Once seated, we were able to order drinks and my two other friends ordered the drinks pairing for each of the dishes. It's a little expensive to do that but from the delight on their faces, definitely worth it. I had a couple of smooth bourbons which paired nicely with some of the dishes. The food was absolutely stunning and it has to be experienced as I can't fully give it justice in words. The showmanship of the chefs and extensive knowledge was amazing and the service was great - they really know how to make a wonderful tasting experience. It might be an expensive thing to do but it's well worth it because the food is divine.

Incredible, incredible meal. One of a kind, I've never experienced anything like it and was blown away by the atmosphere, quality and taste of the food, service levels, and evening overall. I couldn't recommend this enough for a special dining experience in the heart of covent garden.

Service was top notch, the staff were well versed on the food and wine. The whole experience was slick without being rushed and each course was a delight, literally cannot fault it. Try the orange wine, favourite courses were the monkfish and the steamed bun, amazing! Thanks to Ed and the team for a great evening.

A genuine delight and special sort of place. Having tried for months to get a table, with lots of attempts at midnight, when the online booking opened, we were very excited to be able to join the chef and the team for dinner. The wait was worth it and months later, I am still salivating after the experience. The service and set up made this a quite special and unique experience. Having been taken downstairs and through the hideout into your own special experience, a lovely fully kitted out kitchen is revealed. Here you are treated to some of the finest culinary preparation you will see. There is no menu as such, no crockery and no cutlery, which takes some getting used to, but once you see the care and attention that the team go to clean everything and you realise eating with your hands makes the kebabs taste even better, it is very easy to embrace this different approach to fine dining. The chef assembles each course in front of you on your part of the counter, talking you through each stage, developing each item delicately and with precision, while holding a conversation with the customer. It is a genuine pleasure seeing such a master at work and the food, once assembled is too nice to be eaten, but what joy it delivers when it is consumed. Courses change day by day, but a particular favourite was the disassembled duck fesenjan, which brought together a mix of cultures and flavours. There is a wine list, but the accompanying wines, beers and other drinks that the team provide are fantastic and really complement the dishes, more than just a single bottle of wine. The lighting is very subtle, which does mean the photos taken do not do the food and colours justice, but short of disturbing everyone else with a flash, this is the best I could do. I look forward to the chance to go back and revisit those fantastic tastes. Once you have eaten the finest food, there is little point going anywhere else and I speak as someone who has visited some of the best rated places in the UK. I am certain it will not be long before this place is showered with awards.

We had an amazing date night here last night. We walked into the main restaurant upstairs and were asked to wait and enjoy a drink whilst they were setting up downstairs. We were led downstairs and through a kitchen into a hidden room. It’s simple yet impressive; velvet stools sat at a white bar. The concept of the restaurant was explained - it was nice to get a bit of background. The food was amazing. We had six courses, prepared straight on to the counter in front of us. No plates, no cutlery . It was explained that cutlery is available if requested. But who wants to be that guy..... ? Each course was put together so delicately and eaten less so. The foie gras was particularly memorable. We opted for the drinks paring - a mix of cocktails, pale ale and cocktail. Worth it. Would recommend this place for a date, meal with friends and private sitting. Really hope to go again soon.

I don't post many reviews but just got home from a friends birthday bash and had to write something about Kebab Queen. It's an extraordinary little place, hidden beneath another restaurant which is itself tucked away in a Covent Garden side street. Chef/owner Manu, prepares and describes the individual dishes in front of you and the attention to detail is incredible. He's also very engaging and more than happy to share his recipes and methods. A six course tasting menu with each dish a unique take on fine dining, served on the high-tech table surface and eaten by hand. Everything was fantastic but the standouts for me were the foie gras, and 5 MONTH aged beef dishes that were possibly the best flavours I've ever experienced. This is a place for serious food lovers, run by serious food lovers, whose enthusiasm creates a very special dining experience. It's tiny, only ten seats, but if you can get one, this is one of the best restaurants in London at the moment. Tip: Best seat in the house is at the end of the bar nearest the door where you can watch Manu preparing the dishes behind the counter.

I’m very fortunate that I have eaten in a lot of very good restaurants. And you will see that I have over 500 reviews... I can honestly say that this place is the best I’ve ever had. Ok it’s a lovely concept to eat with your hands, without plates and all food served on a warm bar. But only 10 of eating a taster menu with the chef serving each plate personally, with fusion around a kebab style dinner, makes this one of the best. Simply fantastic and I highly recommend that you all try this if you can get a seat. Brilliant. My photos won’t do it justice, but the food quality is superb, you can tell the chef was trained at a double Michelin * restaurant! So much food I don’t now where to even start. Foie Gras or chicken thigh kebabs, cured sea bream, monkfish warped in chicken skin, duck with doughnuts, slow cooker lamb 3 ways, and carrot brioche! And I’ve not mentioned any of the in between courses and perfectly matched drinks pairing that included port, wine, beer and desert meet wine. Simply brilliant

The chaps from Le Bab have smashed it again with this super cool 'secret' chefs table style kebab joint. The menu is quirky, ridiculously tasty and fun. Think outside the (kebab) box and be ready to get hands on. A must go. Bravo to all...

This gastro pub is amazing, lovely athmosphere and really kind staff. Good quality and beautiful food presentation. The menu has something for everyone - traditional fare as well as something slightly outside of the norm. The selection of flavours are both inventive and successful.
