Had a lovely machine decaf coffee at ‘World Peace Cafe’. They do vegan and gluten free as well! Cosy and quiet after shopping! The lovely plants give a great atmosphere…loved the unusual music! Takeaway coffee for £1.50 and a huge tea cake for £1.
Although primarily catering for golfers, Hayley the force behind Halz has attracted many visitors for her excellent lunch menu. Her Sunday carvery is arguably the best in Wrexham,in terms of quality, quantity, and value. She serves food every day except Monday from early morning until tea time. Certainly worth a visit if in the area.
This was our first visit and we had a delicious Sunday Lunch. The roast beef was incredibly tender and the vegetables were nicely cooked. For afters, the date slice (with custard) was amazing!
Please note this café is open daily to the public, not just to those visiting the hospice. It helps to raise vital funds for the excellent work that goes on there.
I found this little tea room through TripAdvisor. I went for afternoon tea with a friend after we made a booking. It's early morning and we were the first customer. The place is cute and small. But a little bit cold inside, perhaps it's still too early. Scones are lovely and good size. But we were not too happy with the sandwiches and especially the little cake that come with it. We were disappointed to see that they used tea bags instead of loose leaf tea. Although we still enjoyed the tea and they served in a cute tea pot and tea sets. I'd recommend the place for distance/ area (not many other tea rooms in this area) and for the scones.
I don't think I could lavish enough praise on this curry takeaway.
No contest, in living in the North-East for 15 years, this is without doubt the best curry I've had in the area. Authentic, impeccable and delicious. A small but worthy menu with genuine curries.
It's utter value for money, with wonderful staff too.
You'll have to go a long way to find a curry this good.
A group of six of us called at tea time, what a fabulous time we had. There was a wide selection of keg beers available, something for everyone and cask beer from the award winning Coach House brewery will be reintroduced when the trade increases. The food on offer was a wide range freshly cooked pizzas, you can have them tailored to you taste. They were beautiful. The best bit is the value for money, £10 buys you a large pizza and includes your drink. ! The staff were fabulous as well.
We were trying to find some Halal food outlet somewhere near which healthy eating options. One of the friend recommended Frenchos Hornchurch and we went all family for a diner quite hesitatingly! Peri Peri Chicken was delicious, especially there wings and burgers got some great taste. Staff was very friendly which makes us all happy. Good Value for money.
