Amazing breakfast and visit it often, great value for money too. Staff are very friendly and helpful 🙂 The cake lady (andra) can certainly sell them cakes which can't be resisted!!

Love this bar the managers and staff are just so friendly and the service is very good. It's a friendly bar with regular customers, who welcome newcomers, who soon become regulars too. Live music, good food, especially Sunday Roasts. Perfectly situated in Southsea precinct. Give it a visit, you'll love it and be a regular too, because it's just so welcoming and a friendly crowd. We popped in for breakfast and we are so glad that we did! The owners were so kind, personable and great chat. Very welcoming and were genuinely interested in both of us. We can't fault the food either, and the coffee was the best we've had in recent memory! All for extremely reasonable prices too. Lovely wee place tucked away from the busy city centre, well worth the 10 minute walk to the quay. Whenever we come back to Aberdeen we shall definitely be coming back to visit :)

I had the jackfruit option on the hotdog menu and was impressed firstly at how delicious it was, great seasoning, beautifully cooked with a lovely sourdough roll and pickles on the side; but also how I felt sated and not bloated. I was so delighted that I commented to the waiter who said it was the lack of oil in the cooking process. i'd been reading a lot about the toxicity of highly processed oils so am keen to know more now. I'd definitely go back and am looking forward to it.

This is a church cafe run by volunteers. It says it is an outreach cafe and an asset to the community - but this is hardly the case when the prices are off putting and more expensive than most cafes run as businesses. A very poor cappuccino cost £3.40 and my baked potato was nearly £8. It is set up in a church hall and the volunteers are pleasant but not exactly efficient (my baked potato was left on an adjacent table until I asked where it was). All the members of our table had their food delivered at different times so some were finished before others had started (we ordered together).

Every Sunday during British Summertime, different charities and local good causes take the Hall, (the Old Village School Building in the triangle of roads) to raise funds and enormous praise for the fabulous homemade cooking! Although the title is ‘Teas’, I find I can put together a nice light lunch of sandwiches and quiche, and then I can’t resist staying on for the Tea!! Great fun, great causes, great prices and absolutely fantastic baking, I recommend you make it a regular event because it’s something special.
