Possibly the best scones I’ve ever had!!
The specials were well worth the diesel , in fact we went back 10 miles on our trip to get some more before we moved on.
Great place, don’t be fooled by the industrial unit frontage.
I couldn't believe the size of the croissants andU pain au chocolat, they were huge! They tasted amazing. Flakey pastry on the outside and soft in the middle. I've never tasted croissants as good and believe me I've tried a few!
This place is AMAZING. Their chicken wings are the best I've ever tasted. The staff are so courteous and friendly. Service was fast & efficient and the food was all cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. I can really recommend them, and we will definitely be back.
Very pleasantly surprised . lovely simple sandwiches very good value, very clean. Cakes are made in house and are worth the visit. Coffee is ground and brewed in-house. Lovely staff! Will be back.
We had three different things from the menu for lunch and all felt insubstantial for lunch and more like a light snack. Nice people and what we had was nice but personally I would not return for lunch. For example £12 for a salad which had a spoon of hummus, half a small avocado and some leafs and a few cherry tomatoes and croutons feels too insubstantial for the price and as lunch.
Ok let me just say the burger patties are excellent top quality and delicious buuuut the main problem for me is the use of brioche buns for burgers they were flabby and greasy they shouldn't be anywhere near a burger this could be easily remedied by adding bun options and would easily be best burger in the area till then i wont order again in a hurry....sorry
I visited tonight for the first time.
People of Burntisland are missing a trick here if going elsewhere.

Catherine listened to what I wanted and produced absolutely delicious cupcakes, fresh, light, beautifully finished, and well packed for a birthday party. I had to hide two to keep for us later as they were disappearing so fast!

Cloisters is set in a lovely environment, in an airy but cosy room with pretty stone walls.
The food was quite good, the flavours were excellent and skillful cooking techniques are used. For me, a few small details could have been improved, such as simply toasting the brioche that paired with the pate, and adding tenderstem broccoli to fit the dish's aesthetic.
The service was professional. I would have liked to know the grape of the wine being offered though, as I ended up have a mixture of two reds at one point. I'd like to add that they did very well to accommodate a large group of us on short notice!
Overall it was a good experience and recommended, but for the price I'd expect slightly more attention to detail.

We were gifted afternoon tea as an engagement present. We received a very warm welcome from Shania and were subsequently extremely well looked after by Kazi. The vegan afternoon tea was imaginative and delicious. Service was impeccable, all the staff were the epitome of welcoming and professional. We felt so relaxed and pampered. Thank you to the wonderful team tho made it such a special day for us! Couldn't recommend highly enough!
