Why nobody comes a pick up your order? The leftovers all arpund the table nobpdy comes to pick it up. We are just waiting to order more but we have to do it ourselfves.

Visited a few times recently and have enjoyed the food as always but I wanted to leave a review simply for the staff member (Jules) that served my daughter and myself today. He was very welcoming, warm and made sure to include my little girl like any other customer, asking her what she would be eating and making sure she was happy throughout. She is only 3 so I suppose it would be easy for staff to overlook her and talk only to parents, but I really appreciated his effort.

When we visit Sheffield to see a show etc. we always go to Zizzi at Leopold Square. The food is excellent ( the mushroom risotto is my favourite) But more important to me is the brilliant hostess Justyna. Her smiling face is the first thing you see when you arrive and she is always on hand to make sure everything is to your satisfaction during your visit. It’s amazing how she remembers us and can recall exactly what we ordered on our previous booking. She is an asset to Zizzi and is irreplaceable

We had a great time in Zizzi, the food was exquisite. Justyna looked after us like a good old friend and made us feel more than welcomed. Her positive attitude is very catchy and we laughed a lot! Thanks Justyna!

It was quite cold due to the air vents but this was made up by the great service and delicious food. All members of staff were helpful, polite and prompt. Jacob was particularly brilliant. Great place and I’d recommend a trip!

I had a lovely solo dining experience at Zizzi’s. I ordered the Classic Margherita pizza and the Brownie Sundae—both were great. Dining alone can sometimes mean being overlooked, but that wasn’t the case here. I was really well looked after by Justyna, who was friendly and attentive throughout. She made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Great food, great service—thank you, Justyna!😀

We came for my Mum’s birthday, having not eaten at Zizzi’s before we thought we’d try it. The gentleman that served us was full of energy, welcoming and passionate about his job. I cannot commend this member of your team enough, I didn’t catch his name but he said he was from North London and had such a positive impact to the dinner, please pass on our sincere compliment to his service. The food was fantastic, my Mum had the carbonara and said it was “possibly the best carbonara she’s ever had”. The Pinot Grigio was really unique for a house wine, sweet and crisp with no bitter taste. I wish I could buy it by the case! I could compliment this experience to excess, but truly it was incredible. Especially for a chain restaurant such as Zizzi’s, it’s rare you get such incredible flavours, service and passion from chain brands. However, Zizzi seems to have hit 5 stars in all areas in the eyes of my family and I! I wish I took more photos, but it was such an experience phones remained in pockets! Thank you so much again for my making my Mum’s birthday so special.

We came on a Saturday night when it was really busy. Joules looked after us and ensured my allergies were priority when serving our food despite how busy it was. He made us laugh, served our food quickly and made sure we were overall taken care of. Highly recommend. All of the staff were so lovely.

Quick service, food was amazing & good prices

First time visiting a Zizzi whilst staying in Sheffield, the waitress was very friendly and helpful. They have quite an extensive menu, so there should be something to suit everyone. The place was very quiet as it was a Monday lunchtime, but with warmer weather and the outside seating in Leopold square, I am sure they do get a lot busier. The food was very tasty and as we had salads it was served very quickly. We would definitely come back here when staying in the area.

Fui a comer algo ligero, compartí una pizza rústica. Calidad promedio, y aunque recién cocinado, estaba frío en cuestión de minutos, lo que significa que la corteza era dura. La ensalada estaba bien. El servicio estaba bien, y el lugar estaba bastante ocupado.

Had a lovely evening out for our belated works Christmas do. Great food and service (think it was Finley who was looking after our table) I had the Sicilian Salmon, and it was delicious Would definitely recommend 🙂

My ‘go to’ restaurant when I want a good meal in relaxing surroundings, served by really friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel a valued customer and not just someone to serve. Justyna (and all the others) greet me by name, know what I like and always make me feel welcome.

Si tienes alergia a algo que no sean las 14 alergias más comunes NO visites este restaurante. Visité este restaurante en familia. Habíamos pedido vales Tesco para 5 personas. Tengo una alergia severa/anafiláctica a los piñones y llevo una pluma epi. Los piñones se usan a menudo en el pesto, así que siempre tengo cuidado cuando visito restaurantes que usan estos ingredientes. Cuando llegamos nos preguntaron si alguien tiene alguna alergia y les expliqué que sí y para qué. Me dieron una carpeta de plástico azul con listas impresas de alérgenos para cada plato en el restaurante. Me pareció genial, aunque la impresión era tan pequeña que era muy difícil de leer! Elegí un plato de pasta de salmón con una salsa cremosa y luego fui a revisar las listas de alérgenos. Los piñones son granos/semillas y estos no aparecieron como uno de los alérgenos enumerados. Así que empecé a explicarle esto a la camarera y ella dijo sin rodeos que tenía que revisar la carpeta azul. Le dije que sí y que los piñones no aparecían como uno de los alérgenos y le pregunté si podía preguntarle al chef si había pesto / piñones en ese plato. Me dijo que no podía hacer eso. Había una nueva ley y no se le permitió preguntar al chef (por ley). La ley dice que tienen que enumerar los 14 alérgenos más comunes, me dijo. Si tenía alergia no estaba en esa lista no había forma de comprobar si alguno de los platos los contenía. Me dijo que podía pedir algo, pero que “comería bajo mi propio riesgo”. Fue a buscar a su manager y él repitió lo que ella había dicho. Así que tuve que sentarme y ver a mi familia comer su comida mientras pasaba hambre. No elegí tener una alergia tan severa. Todo lo que quería era que alguien me dijera si había piñones o pesto en el plato. Estaba tan molesto por esta experiencia. Me hicieron sentir como si estuviera siendo irrazonable. No creo que esta compañía o su personal tengan idea de lo aterrador que es tener una alergia tan grave. Así que a menos que su alergia sea una de las 14 más comunes que tienen que ser enumeradas por ley NO visite este restaurante o cualquiera de sus sucursales. No podrás comer allí. Ciertamente nunca volveré.

Brilliant service, seated very quickly and drinks arrived very shortly after. Food came out surprisingly fast as well! Great menu with a lot of things to choose from. Good was delicious too. Thankyou very much!

The food was lovely as always at any Zizzi, however the waitress was a blunt which I understand it's the end of the day but it can come across rude, the table we were sat at was in the corridor and was very breezy next to the door when there were plenty of other tables available (yes we did book), it took 15 minutes for someone to take our order which is a bit long when we had decided within 2. All in all it was lovely but the service probably needs a bit of improvement - I don't mean this to sound horrible as I work in hospitality myself but sometimes you just have to put on a smile

Lovely meal, unfortunately we were told there was an emergency gas leak and they had to close immediately and so we were asked to leave. However we had to wait 20 minutes for the bill. 0/10

Somthing dodgy going on in this restaurant

Went on a quiet night's food was lovely and our server Justyna was fabulous, especially with my partners allergies.

We visited as walk-in customers, several tables were available and a member of staff agreed to seat us. All going well so far. The manager then decided they were fully booked and the tables would be being used, ok fair enough, so we left and went to Wagamama nearby to eat. On our way back past to the tram stop we looked in and around two thirds of the tables in Zizzi were empty ready to be used. We think the manager is a liar, we can’t comment on the food or drinks but I’m sure they’re satisfactory. We won’t be intending to visit again and have raised a complaint with their head office.

Starters were great. Mains ok. Service efficient but not that friendly.

Good calzone pizza though felt it lacked a bit of a side garnish, bigger side sauce and the offer of additional Parmesan especially as it was a Christmas lunch. Didn’t have beef delivery so had to have chicken. Included photo of what I was expecting for Christmas lunch here.

Not crowded, so everything ran smoothly. Enjoyed the Calazonie.

Nada era demasiado problema para Jules y sus colegas, a pesar de un restaurante cada vez más ocupado. Ellos dieron a todos los huéspedes atención y un gran servicio. Sin duda volvería.

The food is very good and the prices are reasonable.The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Justyna.

Sadly when the bag was passed over the bottom of it was wet and the food fell on to the floor. We ate what was left in the container - which wasn't much but was nice. Very disappointed as was looking forward to it. The delivery person saw what happened but didn't offer to replace it or anything but guessing he's really not in a position to do so. Will come here again but will be aware that the bag quality is poor.

Visited with friends on a busy Saturday night. It was busy but service by all staff was excellent, particularly our server Jules. He was funny and polite and nothing was too much trouble, we weren't made to feel rushed and he regularly checked that everything was okay. Food was tasty and well presented and the restaurant was clean. I normally dread eating out on a Saturday night but my experience here was brilliant.

It's Zizzi, so it's a chain restaurant, but it's also reliable and consistently decent food. The staff were great, and squeezed us in even on a busy Saturday night in the run-up to Christmas and with big-table bookings crowding the place. Service was super-quick. However, due to the time of year and huge groups, the volume of sound made conversation impossible. We've enjoyed it much more at less busy times, and will be back.

I love Zizzi in Sheffield Leopold Square! The dinner had a wide range of alternatives to satisfy everyone's tastes and was incredibly tasty. For a leisurely supper, the restaurant's cosy and welcoming ambiance is ideal. I heartily suggest it to anyone searching for a delicious Italian dinner in Sheffield! Without a doubt, I will return.

Don’t come here. Service is genuinely awful. We watched our drinks being made and saw them sit on the bar for half an hour before we were actually given them. By that time the water was warmer than my actual main meal and this isn’t even an exaggeration. My friend’s side dish of chips came out 15 minutes before her main meal. The pizzas were essentially solid and there seemed to be no point in the waitstaff as they seemed to be doing nothing the entire time.

The minute we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest waiter and then throughout the meal he couldn't make us feel anymore welcome. The ambience was about right for a wet winters Sunday afternoon in Sheffield and the restaurant style felt cosy, I loved the trees throughout the restaurant! The food was tasty the giant dough ball starter with chorizo and mozzarella drizzled with sticky honey was unique and delicious followed by the goats cheese pizza which was equally yummy. The drinks were pineapple rum spritzes, again different and novel. It was a 5 star review from us!

Visited before a show at the City Hall. Lovely meal. We haven't eaten at Zizzis or year and it was nice to see it's still a great place to eat. Staff really friendly. Jacob our waiter was great.

I attended my friend's graduation yesterday evening and decided to celebrate the event with a meal at zizzis leopald square in Sheffield. There were a total of 17 of us altogether and decided to visit here as we had heard good things. As soon as we were arrived we were greeted by a lady who couldn't even be bothered to look up from the tablet she was using. No smile, no general acknowledgement of the evening festivities and it definitely set the tone for the rest of the nights customer service wise. There was an offer on a 3 course meal for £26.50 which most of us decided to have. As it was rather a large party the arrival of guests were scattered and some of us were rather hungry. We asked the waitress if we were able to go ahead and order our starters, then wait to order our mains when the rest of the party arrived. She seemed less than impressed with this request and said it would be confusing for the chefs and herself if we didn't all order together. Now I understand this being a bit of a nuisance but the restaurant was far from busy so I don't understand why she wouldn't be able to remember who had what. There were only about 3 of us that wanted our starters a little earlier. It's was hardly rocket science to even make a note of who had ordered but she really did actually less than impressed which I think is unprofessional as I've worked in hospitality myself and generally when a customer makes a request we go out of our way to fulfill it, unless they are being abusive/violent, which we were not. Throughout the evening the waiting staff kept bringing dishes we hadn't ordered or forgot to bring certain things that were ordered. All of them were in my opinion very rude and acted as though we were an inconvenience. If it wasn't for the number of people and everyone of the party being there to celebrate our friends achievement the night, this could have totally ruined this special day for her. The standard of food was mostly good but some dishes were rather pitiful at best. With zizzis having the reputation for top quality food some of it I could have made at home in the microwave and with the prices they were asking I was left very disappointed. If the terrible customer service and bland food wasn't bad enough when it came time to settle the bill there was a discrepancy of £50 being messing after everyone had settled the own contributions. It took a while to get to the bottom of this and on the whole I felt as though they were being very judgemental and treating us like children. I for one am very disappointed by this dining experience and will go elsewhere were in the future. I suggest your staff getting better training on customer be service going forward Do better

Around 18 people arrived joyfully for a friends graduation celebrations. A cold and unwelcoming service awaited us, as it felt like we were troubling them with the simplest of tasks. Waitress seemed agitated from the start and rolled her eyes at one point, but we did not let that deter our optimism. Food came that we had not ordered and it felt like we were getting told off by them for their mistake. The food when arrived was good for a few dishes, but some of the pasta and risotto dishes could have easily been mistaken for microwave meals for their mediocrity. We did not mind the average overpriced food, but were craving a smile or some sort of positivity from the waiting staff. We felt like an inconvenience for them throughout, so when the bill came they included a £50 tip for the service, which we stated was not going to happen. We never got asked how any of our food was or whether we wanted anything else. Puddings were forgotten about, as were drink orders. Certainly not worth venturing again, hopefully for their sake it was just a bad day at the office. Thankfully it did not spoil our friends graduation celebrations as we overshadowed it all with positivity towards our friend. Other minor issues occurred additionally, but I am not one to complain (other than this one situation…). Many thanks, Ben Slater

The reason I like Zizzis is because I have gluten and dairy intolerances and Zizzis caters for both, so I feel reassured that I can eat here safely without getting unwell. They even put little flags and stickers on to the plate that your food is on that states they have catered for your food intolerance which is extra reassuring when your food arrives. Other establishments, take note. Zizzis is showing you how it should be done !! I recommend Zizzis because of this.

My sister & I stopped by after studying. They offer a 30% discount if you’re a student, with that it’s 5stars ✨ They fishes were flavourful, if you don’t mind butter the garlic bread is a nice choice for a starter. We got that, soda and 2 pasta dishes for £33 with the discount. The atmosphere is relaxing. The waitress was super friendly. Ps they put a lemon in our water 💕

Fantastic service by our server Justyna for my daughter’s 21st birthday party at Leopold Sq Sheffield in 26/10/24. We were a party of 18. She was very attentive & helpful to our requirements.

Visited for a family birthday and it was a decent experience but not quite to the standard I would expect. The food was nice enough, albeit nothing special, but the place was very clearly understaffed and we were waiting quite a while between courses. This is not at all a criticism to the staff as it obviously was not their fault and they were working very hard, but I think if this is the norm there needs to be a change made from a managerial level as it isn’t fair on the staff and it did disrupt the flow of the customer experience. Hopefully this is just a one off but it has put me off returning a little bit.

amazing trip with 20 girls!! all students!! all dressed as shrimp?! The waiter jewels/jules was honestly the best! I’ve never had such a great server he managed the big table and complicated orders easily with the biggest smile. He must really love his job and it shows!! Give that man a raise I beg he is amazing!!!!
