Zizzi - Sheffield Meadowhall in Sheffield

We were served by the most lovely waitress (Amy) who was incredible welcoming and helpful when our orders went a bit wrong, and she couldn’t have done more! Credit to your team she was brilliant :)

The service we received from Ruby was excellent. She was helpful, friendly, and very efficient to us and all the tables she dealt with around us. An asset to the team at Zizzi Meadowhall, Sheffield. The food on the other hand was quite mediocre, and had we not received a gift card to eat there, we probably would give it a miss, I'm sorry to say! This was based on our choice of a Rustica Pepperoni Campania pizza.

The lady who served us was extremely pleasant - her name is Ruby - you are lucky to have her.

Visited 2/1/25 Absolutely fantastic service! Each server was working so hard to make customers happy and the restaurant run smoothly. Despite it being busy they were so attentive. Food was gorgeous aswell.

dined at Zizi’s for a quick bite. Got the bolognese loaded fries and the favourites board,safe to say won’t be coming back. food lacked flavour, garloc bread was so oily and some of the food was undercooked. love italian but this disappointed us.

Having ordered the 6 layer lasagne...I was presented with a dish with 2 small pieces of pasta and a small amount of bolognese sauce. Having previously ordered this meal on several occasions in the city centre zizi I knew what to expect. This dish is advertised as a specialty. The food they gave me wasn't anything like what I'd previously had. I queried the dish with a staff member. I was told this was what the suppliers had sent on this particular day. He referred me to the manager who said exactly the same. At this point my wife's food had arrived. The manager told me to either order something else or we could leave. Feeling embarrassed we decided to leave. The whole experience which was a special occasion proved solely disappointing and left me feeling like ill never eat at Zizi again. This happened on Friday 27th December.

Came out to eat, straight away the service was terrible. Waiting ages to order our food, when the food arrived the lady specifically blonde asked if we wanted cheese then proceeded to get cheese all over my clothes and in my drink. Was not happy at all as she was grating the cheese, she could see I was trying cover myself with my hands, did she stop, no. You’d think the waitress would know to get cheese on the food, it was absolutely everywhere. You can see in the picture specs of cheese in my partners drink, I wiped the side of my table but wish i didn’t so you could see the mess of it. The food was good, not amazing but waited ages to get some sauce for our garlic bread, it was cold by the time we got our sauce. Also asked for refill of water never seemed to get it, you’d ask something and the waiters would go do something else and forget. Overall, we was in there for 2hrs so disappointed bc we only got mains and dessert, complete waste of time, most of time spent was trying to get someone’s attention.

Tengo mi comida. Mi amiga esperó 10 minutos para su comida. Para entonces el mío estaba frío. Preguntó dos veces por la comida Friends. No hay explicación. Decepcionado como esto solía ser mi ir a . ¡Se mantendrá alejado de ahora en adelante! Caro para lo que obtienes

Always enjoy the food at Zizzis, top quality for the price. The staff always go the extra mile to make the dining experience enjoyable, this evening particularly Isha and Ruthika. However, you have an absolute star in Ruby, super efficient, she never misses a beat, she is literally on top of everything that needs doing, and makes everything look effortless. Her customer service skills are excellent, and she is truly a credit to your company.

Overpriced and tasteless , prawn linguine had no chilli in and sauce really watery . Be careful they automatically add a tip on to bill .

Visit here quite regularly but were disappointed this time. Ordered Chicken Milanese, chicken dry and overcooked, breadcrumb coating hard. Spoke to waiter who agreed. Offered a replacement, but as I hate waste I accepted it as long as it was brought to the managers, attention. Expected some discount, non given because I had eaten it. They would have preferred to give another full meal, costing more than a small discount. The waiter when I paid was full of apologies, not his fault. Poor customer service today which is unusual for them.

Very friendly and helpful staff members. When we didn't finish our meals we were offered to box them up. The food was amazing

Fui con mi marido que tenía risotto de salmón que era muy agradable, sin embargo, mi comida era terrible. Tenía lasaña que el menú describió como cubierto con pan rallado (inusual y ciertamente no italiano). Solo puedo pensar que esto es para hacer que el plato vaya más allá como todo el pan y muy poca lasaña. Ningún servicio de atención al cliente como se quejó cuando se le preguntó si todo bien para ser dicho le dirá al chef. Cuando pagamos nuestra cuenta fue dicho por la camarera que el gerente había sido dicho. Esta será nuestra única visita.

We went for our 2nd date as we're were in the centre shopping. The food and atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were very lucky as a gentleman and his son played for our meal. We just said thank you, But after they had gone our waitress came and said that the gentleman and his son wanted to play for someone meal. He asked her for her advice she told him that me were a nice couple. So he paid. After chatting with the waitress we said that it was our second date. She replied snap that she was also going on her second date that night

Ruby was amazing as our server, she took care of us extremely well, catered to our various food allergies perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, wonderful food, amazing drinks, great atmosphere, couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Me and my partner had nothing but an amazing time at Zizzi's in Meadowhall over the weekend. The atmosphere was great, we were accommodated by a very lovely and polite young lady Issy who delivered great service and made our time easier and it was topped off by some delicious food. Certainly coming again and recommending to friends!

Our waitress, Ruby, was absolutely WONDERFUL. Nothing was too much trouble. She was also being super kind and caring of an elderly couple that were dining which was really lovely to see.

Had a really wonderful experience at Zizzis Meadowhall this afternoon. Ruby greeted us warmly and was a fantastic server, really good knowledge of the menu and made us feel comfortable. Really good accessibility for wheelchairs. Lovely decoration ready for the festive season. Will definitely return again.

Started off ok got drinks in good time food came hot and ok on time, tge issue was paying we sat near the door and the waitress was too busy letting people in before getting our bill, we were on the verge of walking out, we ended waiting 30 minutes along with another 2 tables, just not good enough plenty of other restaurants I've been to next to yours where everything is better, won't be rushing back

Tried to eat here on a Friday evening after shopping all day. Told could not eat inside as no staff to serve. Tried to sit us out near the exit next to a table with a coughing adult. No apology, no empathy so we walked out and went elsewhere. Disgusting customer service.

I regularly go to zizzis in meadow Hall for lunch when meeting friends and family. The food is absolutely fab I never have any issues. Ruby is often our waitress and she is friendly and helpful.

Called in for cocktails & was recommended by our lovely friendly waiter Evan to try the Honeycomb Cheesecake dessert. It was delicious! I’ll definitely be returning.

Sorry to say this. Waiter ask me, if I’m finished to eat even I had 1/4 of pizza on plate. I ask her if she thinks that I’m finished. She said NO!! After that without asking she brought me the bill even, I didn’t finish my beer. I was just ready to order some dessert and coffee. So I was forced to pay the bill and of course I left restaurant immediately without ordering anything else. Sorry for Zizzi, I was supposed to left another 20£. Unfortunately I like Zizzi and yearly I spend 1000£ on food in Zizzi, but after that I’m not sure, if I want to return. There are a lot of good restaurant’s around. Hope someone from Zizzi will read this and make sure that Zizzi workers present Zizzi in right way Best wishes Matjaz SERCER

Every now and then you come accross a waitress who is both professional but also fun to deal with. Ruby falls into this category. She ensures you are valued, even when busy, by reassuring you that you are not forgotten. She is a true Sheffield girl with true Yorkshire values. This is our first visit to Meadow Hall Zizzis but certainly won't be our last. Thanks Ruby for making our visit so memorable.

Seated quickly and nice front of house staff, unfortunately one meal came out with a thick black hair entwined in the pasta. This was replaced, the other prawn bisque meal had no flavour, no chilli’s. Was a prawn pasta water dish. Unfortunately the kitchen let the side down here.

Wow. Treating my kids to lunch out. Oldest has additional needs and really struggles understanding. We stood at the entrance waiting for 5 mins while being ignored by the manager. Finally where sat down there for 20 mins and still none took our order, people walking past even other customers where like you still not been served. So I walked out with very upset children . I will be emailing head office as as a single parent felt maybe fact my oldest had torrets
