Was nice, this branch seemed to be a bit quiet but I really can't fault it

Visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon to book a table for Saturday evening. There were 2 staff by the door but we were told we would have to wait for the manager. We waited 15 minutes then the manager appeared and told us they had no available tables. If they were full surely one of the staff could have told us without having a ridiculous long wait. Very disappointed at the way we were treated. Will not got back

Quite loud, the table stuck and the service was chaotic. The pizzas were quite good. Reservation urgently necessary.

After a week of eating traditional Scottish food ir was nice to have a salad for a meal. Friendly staff, we booked online about 45 min and got in, not so lucky for people who just walked in.

Good choice to watch the river flow by!

Shocking rude service, very hostile towards allergies

We went for dinner for a couple of pizzas. We felt rushed and service was not good. Drinks arrived after we finished starters and just because I asked again. Pizza was ok however it arrived at the table already almost cold and it's definitely not worth £16. Waiter already putting chairs over tables next to customers around 9pm, not a good impression. Can find better places to go in Inverness.

Negative experience: starting from the too hasty service to the food definitely not like Italian food. They brought us drinks when we had already finished the appetizers and only because we remembered it, the dishes arrived already cold and they started to unprepare the table when I was still finishing the drink, the desire to close was evident given that already at nine and with the place almost full they began to pull up the chairs to clean, the haste in making room would be better used in the service. The pizzas were cold and not of good quality, the dough was light and thin but it almost looked like a frozen pizza, except that you could see the pizza chefs making it on the spot. Good caprese appetizer. For the service and the quality of the food, however, it is absolutely not worth the price.

Food was ok. The service was average. Got turned away for not having a reservation even though there were empty tables. Made a reservation the next day and saw as they turned people away one after the other while there were multiple empty tables. There are better options around and with better service.

Great first visit, tasty food attentive staff. Lovely location.

Zizzi Inverness is excellent. The food is really amazing. Try the fresh pasta chianti beef! I came here with my wife in January for the first time, then we went back the next day, and now is my go-to place when working in Inverness. Staff are great, and manager is a nice guy.

Zizzi came in clutch. We had a booking at Caledonian but they had to cancel our booking. Zizi was able to squeeze us in when they were absolutely packed! The service was great and the food was delicious!

If you order a fish or meat dish, be prepared to get 4/5 of potatoes. Small portions, dish quality average, service average, atmosphere average. Best thing about this place is location and view.

I would like to only give 2 stars to this one and here are my reasons: 1.) the server was in a hurry for us to finish our food. She literally said "oh, you're still eating". 2.) another server came in to clear the bill and she did mention the tipping is optional but there's no option to skip it. There could be other ways to bypass it BUT people would feel embarrassed to ask.

Service too fast, we felt rushed, it seem that staff were keen to get the table available. Prices are very high already and the service charge was added by default and was difficult to remove as I didn't think it was justified by the service.

A pleasant option in Inverness, the dishes were not too delicious, they are a gastronomic bet that is not very new, it is expensive for what they offer! Oh and it is also mandatory to leave a tip.

We enjoyed our meal. The dishes are good without necessarily being excellent. The setting is nice. Small downside on the Brownie dessert which did not seem to be homemade (too bad for the fairly high price on average)

They completely messed up the whole order and the food we received didn’t taste all that great. They forgot to slice the pizza and garlic bread and our chocolate cake. Overall pretty disappointing

Nice food, quick service, beautiful view to the river. We had booked online.

Very small, but really expensive pasta portion. It was good though but not worth the money. I just had take away but pretty nice location in my opinion.

Decent enough lunch. Felt crammed in like a sardine mind you which detracted from the overall enjoyment. However the food was very tasty.

WORST take away ever. Got some random edible stuff except none of us ordered. Most irresponsible restaurant ever. One star is too much. Zero! And refund!

We ate here because I saw that they have gluten-free pizza and it was really good! Nice location, yummy food, and the prices were absolutely fair! 100% recommend. I also like how they do the allergy menu. It's online, you can easily filter for commom allergies + vwgan and vegetarian dishes, it's really easy to find something! And the gluten-free menu is huge^^

I have been impressed about these guys dedication, an exceptional service. Great and hot food.. great sense of urgency by their staff.

A busy Saturday dinner with family, a few mix ups with waiter, food came and it was excellent, had dessert and ordered Coffee then 10 mins later told by waiter sorry there's no coffee as we have run out of milk... Very strange for an early Saturday evening meal..

I quite liked the place. Staff was very friendly and food was good! Calamari could use more flavour though.

Menu was limited due to holiday (2nd January). Excellent olives and unusual winter caprese. Main course beef Ragu was nice.

We went for dinner on New Year's Eve with prior reservation. We arrived at the reservation time and other people arrived later. They placed us after other clients who had arrived later and whom they clearly knew. The surprising thing is when they literally place us at the worst table in the restaurant: hidden behind a refrigerator in the hallway to the bathroom. The menu was reduced because the oven was not working. We ordered two different types of pasta and they brought us the same pasta with different sauces. Zero explanations. The food was tasteless, artificial and terrible. Honestly, it's not worth it at all. Besides, it is very expensive. A horrible experience. I wouldn't go back for anything.

Amazing staff. Very suggestive. Amazing food. Amazing views from the table.

The waitress is not nice and arrogant (she rolls her eyes when asking for water), for their convenience they sit all the customers in a crowded corner even when there are a lot of empty seats. The food is mediocre, the pizza is even a bit cold, not the best experience here.

We ordered to go. Simple margerita pizza and lasagna. Tasted fine. I wish there were cardboard cutlery included. Took some time before we were greeted at the door even though we were seen.

I had a very frustrating experience, food was served to people who arrived after me and i was left waiting for 45mins. The staff seemed untrained. Hope they improve their service.

I had a terrible and frustrating experience. After patiently waiting for my food for 45mins, I asked the waiter for my food and I got a rude reply "but I got you the starters". And people who arrived after me were savoring their food before me. Their food portion is also not sufficient. We ordered 4 different dishes and yet four of us were not full when we left. Quite poorly trained staff.

The Zizzi in Inverness is beautifully situated near the river. Unfortunately we didn't like the food and the pasta was only lukewarm when it was brought to the table. Only the starter, the bruschetta, was very tasty and the service was good and very nice!

1st day we had a take out Pizza.. 1) Who doesn't cut a pizza especially in a touristy town am I supposed carry a pizza-cutter on my vacation? 2) it was oval didnt even taste good! 2. Service charge is through the roof and yet our server didnt even pack our left overs when we went next day for dine in dinner. The Pasta was good and garlic bread was -5 out of 5, no words for how horrible it was. To summarize food was hit and miss. Service could be alot better for the premium prices that are charged.

This is more like a fusion place rather than Italian, like we were expecting. The food wasn't to our liking. The staff was nice and attentive.

Original pizza just like in Italy you can eat. Quick service, reasonable pricing.

Busy on a Friday night at 6pm. I highly recommend booking as it was very very busy. Lovely staff!!! And great food.

Food excellent, service very good. Atmosphere ok, but table very close together, dinner for 3 felt like dinner for 6 with tables either side of us. That said, will definitely be back as a lot of dishes looked fantastic.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, wir wurden sehr freundlich und auch schnell bedient. Das Knoblauch Brot und die Pizza mit Salami, Mozzarella und Trüffel ist himmlisch, Ultra dünner Boden, knusprig und der Geschmack sensationell. Der Nachtisch war ebenfalls super fein.

Great place for eating out with friends! Food is beautiful! Only think is the service we asked for new drinks and they took a long time or didn’t come till we reminded the waitress! Staff were lovely though! Always book as gets very busy

Very nice restaurant on a great location. The lady that helped us was really kind and was a great help. The food was good. We had a shared plate together, and we've had a good meal for the late afternoon. Ready, with full bellies back from Inverness to Edinburgh!

Food was okay but expensive. Unable to accommodate 50/50 pizza as told the topping had to be over the whole pizza despite the fact they make them from scratch. Nice atmosphere.

I had a three course meal here a few weeks ago and to say that I was impressed would be an understatement. The place, cutlery and glasses are clean and tidy, the staff are very polite and the service is very quick. I had a Meatballs for starter which was very tasty, Carbonara and Fries for Main which were absolutely delicious and best of all there Brownie for dessert was just exquisite. This place is also very good at serving people with all allergies, so all people are able to eat here. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Shocking service. There was one man waiter (Phillip) who was lovely and tried to help but the waitress was rude. They ran out of hot chocolate so served us one that was half full. The only thing that was good was the pizza which we got in takeaway, but it wasn’t cut.. I wouldn’t come back here and I wouldn’t recommend this.

Pretty poor overall. £9 Mojito was ready made rubbish from a bottle. Food was pretty poor for the price. Service was rushed and dis-interested! Use to be so much better.... such a shame

Wait here with my wife for dinner, we didn't have a booking but the place wasn't very busy. We were meet with a fairly rude Italian women told us we would have to have to wait 20mins. Then anyone women said that it was ok that we could be seated and not wait. They same to have a bit of a heated discussion and then she also had a discussion with a chef before sitting us. We were seated and it took a fairly long time for someone to come and take our order. We had garlic bread with mozzarella it was really nice and the meat Sofia pizza which was also very nice. For dessert I had berry and cherry which lacked the berries and my wife had the chocolate melt which had to be sent back as it was stone cold. The whole time we sat in the restaurant about 30-45mins there was plenty of empty tables so the rudeness that we received was totally unnecessary. I like Zizzi, I've been to other restaurants but I'd never go back to this one and I'd never recommend it.

Had the margarita pizza and chicken with chips and carrots. The food was pretty poor, pizza was bland and chicken was dry and hard. If they had better bases on the pizza it would make a huge difference. Service and staff were excellent

Used to love this place, great options for vegan and glutenfree diets. However, they changed the order process so if you have food allergies you have to order through a QR code. If you don't have a smartphone you can't order. I used to get offered a tablet to use for ordering, which was quite awkward, but worked. Now the staff has changed and they are so unhelpful and uninterested I couldn't order. I had to ask for a tablet several times, eventually she gave me one that didn't work. She took the order verbally (which apparently they're not allowed to do any more for food allergies, so I was told, so she must have breached their policy). Took a long time to arrive, my espresso never came and I had to wait at the door for it after we had paid the bill. Very uncomfortable way to finish a meal. The tabs only have boiling hot water so when I washed my hands I was scolded. Tried all sinks, but apparently the men's toilets are the same.

Perfect combo of beautiful location and good food (vegetarian).

We enjoyed our dinner at Zizzi. It was fairly busy, so I recommend getting a reservation. Join their loyalty club, and you can also get a free starter. The cheesy garlic bread was good. You can also get an Italian pizza for around £16. It was a fair price for a solid meal in a relatively expensive tourist area. I would pass on the spritz, as it wasn't great. The service staff did a good job.

I've been twice now. Service is surprisingly fast and the food is excellent. The pizza bases are outstanding, fresh and thin.

For what it is — a chain with pizza and more, everything was perfect. Good service, delicious and imaginative food, great location and view of Ness River.

I should give this restaurant a zero. We showed up 8:40 there were empty tables. The girls at the door were nice but the manager said they were full. Than he told my husband there was a group of fifty that had shown up yet. But there wasn’t tables set up for 50 people and through the window there was only three or four small tables empty. Other words he just put right lied. Which I had just read a previous review saying they tell people there full when there are tables. Because they want you to reserve a table in advance. Which we had tried earlier in the evening. Yes we could’ve said takeout.

Schmeckt nicht. Total trocken .. Alles. Schle hte service. Es war wirklich der schlechter Salat in meinem Leben. Lachs war extrem salzig. Ich rate euch ab dahin zu gehen.

Teníamos reserva a las nueve, cuando llegamos nos dicen que la cocina cierra a las 9. Tras exponerle que su propia web nos deja reservar a esa hora, aceptaron de mala gana darnos una mesa y diciendo que tan sólo teníamos cinco minutos para elegir porque éramos un grupo de 8. Al vernos entrar, el cocinero comenzó a maldecir nuestra entrada y a dar golpes. Casualmente, a los 10 minutos entraron dos mesas más, no sé por qué a nosotros intentaron disuadirnos la entrada. Lo más bochornoso llegó a la hora del postre, las excusas de la camarera rubia eran muy descaradas: la máquina del café "estaba rota", helado de chocolate ya no tenían, té tampoco...en fin, excusas para echarnos del sitio. En cuanto a la comida, aceptable sin más.

Absolutely embarrassed by this quality food. Paid over £40 and the food was cold, no flavour and the pizza was just shocking. I have tried to phone 5 times no answer...

Food was not worth the money there was mouldy mint in my drink and the service was appalling we was asked by the server at the table if we was going to give them a tip I refused to tip because he asked for one was so shocked

Their vegetarian pizza was awesome. We had primavera vegetarian pizza. Onion caramelised garlic pizza was just okey though my friends enjoyed that too. Only downside thing about zizzi was their staff. Most of them very Cold n very unfriendly They were actually scary. One of them was very sweet n nice but I forgot to ask her name. Otherwise full marks to zizzi

Purtroppo non quello che ci aspettavamo, da un locale definito all'italiana, purtroppo siamo entrati in cerca di qualcosa di più affine a noi ma le insalate non erano disponibili, l'ordinazione è stata sbagliata e a fine pranzo ci è anche stato comunicato che la macchina del caffè era fuori uso. Probabilmente siamo capitati nella giornata sbagliata ma va segnalata l'esperienza. L'offerta del cibo non è male ma il costo è un po' troppo alto per quello che viene servito

The worst esperance ever, the staff are not at that professional to deal with the customers, we asked for a river view table knowing that half of the restaurant was available and the lady said some tables are dirty and the others are closed for now and you can set in the meddle. (I think the tables must be cleaned for the new customers, this should be by default). and after less than 5 minutes, a couple has come over and sat on one of the closed tables and it was normal. Other than that, some of the tables become available, and when we asked again to move for another table, she refused that, and she said it is booked, how it was booked that fast. I didn't try any food because I left immediately because it was disrespectful and not a professional way It's not recommended, unfortunately

Una pizzeria correcte, res de l’altre molt, però correcte. Les pizzes son grans i de massa fina. El servei correcte. El preu correcte. Una mica sorollós però pel tipus de local era d’esperar.

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen. Uns wurde gleich am Anfang gesagt, dass der Pizzateig aus ist und es nur Nudelgerichte gibt. Das wäre auch ok gewesen, wenn nicht dauernd Pizzen zubereitet werden würden, während wir daneben sitzen. Unsere Bestellungen wurden dann auch noch falsch aufgenommen. Das Essen an sich war lecker. Ein paar Tage später wollten wir nochmal dort einen Kaffee trinken. Da wurde uns gesagt, dass wir draußen nicht bestellen können, nur drinnen. Drinnen wurde uns dann gesagt, dass wir etwas zu Essen bestellen müssen, nur Getränke wären nicht möglich. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass hier keine Urlauber willkommen sind.. sehr schade.

El sitio no está mal, es grande, tiene muchas mesas, solo que a veces te dicen que solo tienen un cocinero y que no te pueden atender aunque estén vacías la mitad....la comida normal, los platos son parecidos a los que tienen en Ginos, salvo los calamares que estaban bastante bien, lo demás muy normal, carbonara hecha con nata y eso. Las camareras son simpáticas y no tuvimos demasiado tiempo de espera.

This almost became a 3 star review. At the entrance, we were turned away at the first attempt relatively disinterested because we had not reserved. But since apparently various tables were free, we have when we were then outside, reserved online on the website for 5 minutes later - and to our surprise immediately get a table. This has already pulled my mood down a bit. The exceptionally friendly service and the professional pizza baker (with the black T-shirt) who could not be disturbed by anything and has done a great job, have improved the whole restaurant experience then again significantly and then let the evening end nicely. The pizzas were great, the pasta good. Note to the owner of the restaurant: From my point of view, you lose customers and money with this reception. A note that you only get a table with prior reservation or a somewhat friendly reception of the lady at the entrance would already help.

Pasta were ok but the sauce was fat and not good... (Red pesto) good service but bad cuisine. Nothing like Italian cuisine...

I have been to many Zizzi in the UK. The Inverness restaurant is by far the best I have been to by miles. The location is stunning. The staff efficient and welcoming. And the food is as good as you would get in any small family Italian restaurant. Why is no other Zizzi able to match the food when it has the same menu 🍕❤️🍕

Sea bass was beautiful - pity about the carrots. There's denté and denté.

FOOD TOOK ages to come service was okay but could be alot better,the lack of food was the problem I drove 8 hours and took my woman out and was very let down finished meal and could not wait to leave and Go grab a munch on the way home after paying 55 pounds. Never be back again portion size pathetic sorry its not fine dining it's Inverness we like a decent size meal not a snack

Lieu agréable, service rapide et sympathique. La cuisine est très bonne.

We greeted by a lovely server, who told us there was no Pizzas as they had run out of dough. The food we had was lovely, but we would have booked elsewhere knowing there was no Pizza. The table after us was some how able to get a Pizza and Calazone.
