Had a mixed meat pasta (new dish) enough for a small child and couldn't taste any meat . We don't do Italian very often and this certainly isn't a good advert

Alex and Izzy were exceptional. They knew about the dishes on the menu and made good recommendations. We were looked after very well and can't speak highly enough about these two ladies. Thank you both for a lovely lunch.

Takeaway burnt dry , must have scalped the topping off. Box looked more appetising than the pizza. Will go to marks and Spencer’s two for twelve pound and sides next time

Never tried Zizi before so gave it a go, the food and service were good but the decor could do with a revamp, otherwise OK.

Order wasn't right on the pizza for my son, disappointed on the attention to detail, requested gluten free with meat extras on his pizza, got a gluten free and vegan pizza. Not many deserts available so was disappointed there too. Tried to charge for missing items, but bill was adjusted to the correct amount

Great weekend evening meal here. Food up to it's usual Zizzi standard with the staff very hard working polite and attentive.

Had two separate meals here and I have been impressed with both. The service is excellent and the price is great. I did use a taste card and they do accept it here. I will definitely be coming back.

very disappointed, i ordered of uber eat at half ten pm however everything went though okay they accepted the order, but when the uber driver had to ring me and say that zizzi’s were shut. the uber driver was so friendly and helpful and also messaged saying he’s unfortunate for our poor experience, my partner and i are not very unsatisfied!

We went as a family for a big birthday meal. Service was good and the food was lovely. They also serve cocktails for cocktail lovers.

My wife and daughter had the Sicilian Salmon and thoroughly enjoyed the food, stating it was the best meal they had had for a long time.

Couldn't fault Zizzi's today. Great starter (pork meatballs), excellent pizza, (Sticky Pig), and a honeycomb cheesecake to finish. Great service from the girls as well. Even the red wine was good and served at the correct temperature. 5 stars all round.

Wonderful service and lovely food. We visited here on 18/06/24 and we were delighted. Didn’t realise how busy it was until we got into the restaurant. Staff were attentive and friendly, could see they were slightly understaffed. The food was fabulous especially the sharing board. All in all brilliant experience and the staff were great.

Fantastic food and exceptional service from the lovely Olivia. The major disappointment was that they don't take cash.

We walked in as usual looking for a table for 2, asked if we had booked, we replied no, we were told there was a 2 hour wait even though it was emptyish 4 tables occupied. Walked outside and booked a table for 12 minutes later 18:45🤔 that's strange for a 2 hour wait. If you don't want customers at your Hereford branch lick the door and bugger off. Don't go lying to people just be honest that you don't want our trade. No we didn't return in 12 minutes time. We took our business elsewhere.

Delicious food; It all arrives hot and very tasty. The service was also very quick & polite, but my mum said, and I quote: "that was the worst cappuccino I've ever had". (not sarcasm) But other than that it was a great meal out.

Nice restaurant bar the fact you can’t get into the toilet as there is Pidgeon’s (yes multiple) flying around. You can’t even walk in to use it. Very disappointed that I couldn’t even walk in there. Embarrassing

We were in the restaurant for 1.5 hours when we just fancied a quick dinner. Slow unfriendly service, lack of staff, dirty tables. Not even a hello when you walk in despite being right there. Food was cold, had obviously been sat for ages.

Actually came in October 2022 but didn’t post a review straight away due to working for the company at the time. June 2023 is the furthest back that I can put for this. I worked at a separate branch but came in with my mum and some other family members for a quick lunch while I was visiting home. My mum has a NUT ALLERGY, and we clarified this at the door. As I worked for the company, I knew the allergen training/process and this was not followed, and resulted in an allergic reaction. Each allergy table has a glass bottle with ‘allergy’ written on it to show servers not to approach, only managers or supervisors were allowed to serve the table and run the food, allergy dishes had to be marked with a red sticker to show that it was for someone with an allergy and NONE of this was done. I tried to use the allergy qr code but the signal in the building was bad and we couldn’t access it. I had to advise my mum on what to order after the manager didn’t come over to talk to us. The waitress took our order instead, and kept referring us to the qr code when my mum asked questions. The wait times for ordering and our drinks wasn’t great to start with, but when my mum’s food arrived without an ‘allergy’ sticker I started to get a bit annoyed. About halfway through her meal she started having a reaction. Luckily, it was a minor reaction and only her lips and mouth were tingling and going numb. I immediately alerted the manager, who at no point came over to the table. He checked the ingredients for one item in the dish (pesto is typically made with pine nuts but their recipe did not use them) and that was it. I went back to my mum, who was wiping her lips with water and basically rinsing her mouth just to see if it helped the tingling, and fortunately, it did. She had no other reaction, but if it had been more severe then it would’ve been too late by the time the staff would’ve responded. My mum was quite shaken up about the entire thing and didn’t eat out at a restaurant for several months afterwards. During her reaction, the manager on shift and the waitress that took our order were both stood leaning by one of the tills watching. They didn’t come over, check on her or even address the kitchen (from what I could see). They were aware of my mum having a reaction, and they did nothing until the manager came to clear the table, and then he turned to my mum and said “are you feeling alright now, love?” I was livid to say the least. At this point I’d clarified to them I’d be using my staff discount so I didn’t feel like I could kick off or make a scene, so we paid our bill and left. I reported it to the manager at my branch, but I do not believe it was ever followed up on. Quite simply, the allergen process wasn’t followed, my mum had a reaction, the staff were aware, did not come over to help and it was never written up or investigated. We had made a booking so they probably would’ve contacted us had this incident been reported. Haven’t been back since, and frankly still very angry about this.

From the time you walked in the atmosphere was great you felt welcomed the staff were great the young man who waited on us was so polite and helpful and I am sorry we didn't get his name but he had dark curly hair but he was great. The food was great and hot which is always a bonus Thanks again for a great service.

Arrived for a light lunch on Saturday. Restaurant was busy but I was quickly seated. Decided I’d order the sea bass. This was really nicely presented and felt nice and healthy with lots of veggies included. Staff were friendly and attentive, restaurant was clean and tidy. Very good!

The waiting is terrible. Waited to b seated. Waited ages to get a drink. Waited ages to pay bill. Food just isn't worth the money 18 quid for 3 meatballs n it was dry. Pudding was good and staff polite.

We booked here for ourselves and family 2 weeks previous to the visit, they had traveled a good distance for Easter, we had our starers but we were very disappointed to wait over an hour for pizzas, when I asked about the food as we were the last ones sitting in the restaurant, the waitress said it was just coming.. funny that.. pizza arrived Luke warm. So the food was ready just not served, very disappointing, would not recommend... will try wild woods next time.

A very disappointing meal. I ordered Ragu which arrived lukewarm. The waiter was very good and brought a replacement which was hot but lacking in flavour. My girlfriend had Lasagna which was adequate. When I attempted to pay the bill their card readers failed so I had to pay cash. My card subsequently worked everywhere else I emphasize that the waiter was friendly and efficient.

Ordered pasta with chicken! No sauce at all dry pasta 3 different kind in it mushroom accidentally in too.. feel sick already. Called them noone bothers answering the phone I’m sure they know why! If I get food poisoning I sue them.

Came here with friends a month or so ago. Restaurant had a nice vibe with music. Food was really tasty and came really quickly ! However, the service was poor sadly! It took around 10/15 minutes to be asked which drinks we would like despite a quiet restaurant and a while for our drinks to come. We were worried we had been forgotten about. Glasses of water were lovely and chilled however. Our meal was delicious and we all have a lovely time it was just the service wasn’t great

Got shown to our table 30 minutes later we was offered a drink and took our order the starters came out pretty quick.but then it went down hill fast I had the sticky pig pizza £16:50 5 pieces of crackling on one side and the other side had a dribble of sauce and a few chunks of meat absolutely terrible.when you read the menu it sounds amazing but don’t be fooled it was awful we waited an hr for our main we told the server twice that we was ready for our pizzas she just walked off by this time we had enough then the pizzas arrived 🤦‍♂️ when we tried to get the bill at the end the server wouldn’t acknowledge us so we had to go up and ask for our bill then the server got our bill up on computer and I said we had Tesco vouchers she had to go find someone in the mean time I added my voucher codes onto the till myself it’s not that hard 😂 on the way out the chefs was showing people to tables this is a very very shambolic restaurant which needs sorting out fast

They don't have a classic Hawaiian pizza or the classic Italian anchovies pizza. Disappointed by the lack of classical pizza combinations.

Food was yummy and came out really quick and very hot! They forgot the pancetta on one of our pasta dishes but as soon as our waitress noticed she immediately went back to the kitchen and got us a fresh bowl with all the correct components. Our waitress was Tavy and she was so lovely and so attentive, could not fault her service at all - she's a credit to this restaurant!

Visited on a Friday night. Seated straight away and served by friendly & welcoming staff. Went for the 3 course menu which was great value for money and good sized portions. Food was good. No negatives from us and recommended. My only suggestion is maybe set uniform for all staff as seemed to vary person to person.

Step daughter and I both settled down to the Spaghetti Chipotle Carbonara. It was very very bland, no seasoning whatsoever, couldn't taste the Chipotle which was cut to a very dry slither. Very little ham. Service was friendly, atmosphere busy but it was lunchtime, but food very disappointing void of flavour. Table next to us said the same about their pizza thingy

Waited a while to be seated when we arrived and then we were taken upstairs (which was cold and lacked atmosphere). Staff were helpful but food wasn't up to the standard we have had in the past and the sausage lasagne tasted so awful that I couldn't eat it (the sausage looked and smelled raw!) When it was time to pay, they couldn't bring the machine to the table, so we had to follow the waitress to the machine. It took ten minutes to pay as they had issues with all machines they tried (admitted it was their fault and it 'happened all the time').

Great food! Beautiful decoration, but the service was awful. It was so slow! It took us 45 minutes to get our bill. The staff are very friendly, but the way the waiting staff work needs to be rearranged as there seems to be little to no structure on who's doing what.

Awful. Restaurant empty when we arrived,took 15 mins for drinks to arrive. Starters were OK, but took a long time to come out. Mains Disgusting chicken was dripping in grease, tuscan potatoes were just chopped potatoes thrown in a deep fat fryer. Risotto was like eating PVA Glue, and not a mushroom in sight,well the end of one mushroom. Sent back after 1 mouth full of each dinner. Offered free pudding then didn't have the ones we picked. Which took another 10 mins to find out. The only good food item were the chips and they were a small portion. Save your money and go somewhere eles. So no where near enough staff.

First timer for Zizzi’s - Went here on a Sunday with a friend. Service was 10/10, can’t be faulted. The food was VERY DISAPPOINTING. I ordered loaded bolognaise fries and cheesy chilli garlic bread with an Americano. Drink was tiny, could pass as an espresso. The fries were so sparse, equivalent of a McDs medium fries, with half a ladle of bolognaise. Nothing “loaded” about them, barely covered the bottom of the plate. The garlic bread again was sparse for almost £7, was chopped up, 2 pieces actually had cheese and chilli on. The bread tasted nice though. How I didn’t complain I don’t know. I’ve seen pictures of food from their other restaurants, they’re really taking the piss at this one. Zizzi’s seem to be cutting corners at this branch, they’ll end up out of business as people can get good food at these prices. Won’t be going again.

Booked a table of 6 online. Ordered soft drinks and 1 cocktail, they took 30 mins to arrive. Had to chase a waitress around the restaurant to order and no one came back to take it. After food had arrived we had to ask for cutlery, waitresses serving looked like you’d asked her for her arm! No one came to clear the plates after mains, we had to move make room by moving them to opposite table, despite it being 9pm and the restaurant was closing at 10 rather than ask if we wanted any more drinks or desserts the staff spent time cleaning tables or were nowhere to be seen, so again we had to find someone to ask if we could order desserts. When desserts arrived they were literally thrown on the table, a cheesecake with completely melted ice cream slopped all over the plate! The bill came to £126, and no one brought that to the table again I had to go and search for someone to ask to pay. They had the audacity to leave a tip set at 10% on the card reader - needless to say I swiped that to 0! I also have to add there were only 2 other tables in at this point in the evening so it was not busy. The pizza was good, cocktail that cost over £10 and supposed to have white chocolate curls etc left a lot to be desired, it tasted like a Luke warm hot chocolate and looked nothing like it’s picture

Just awful 😞 prices have gone up but portions have become considerably smaller and the quality worse than ever. Even with a 30% off voucher, it simply wasn’t worth it! I’ll be sticking to independents from on even if that means dining out less. Happy to pay more for an enjoyable meal and experience.

We like to have lunch at Zizzi if we are on our way to football and find the food and service really good. We’ve been a few times and today had service from Michaela who was so lovely. Mum is an older lady and likes a chat with everyone and Michaela really makes her feel at home.

The starters were good but the experience left me quite annoyed, I was not given what I ordered for mains and when the waitress asked if everything was okay I started to speak up, she looked at me and walked off, I wasn’t going to embarrass myself by making a point so here I am to write a review.

Food as usual was great. Service from Paula Dutra on 22/12/23 was outstanding. She made the evening special. Alex was also amazing (14/12/23). On both days Affogato Coffee Liqueur was delightful.

The worst Zizzi in UK I guess. After Zizzis small building renovation, me and my family went to try it for the first time. It was dreadful and not worth it at all. I ordered sticky pig pizza and it was nothing compared to the advertisement online. The £16 pizza looked like a £5 pizza from a kebab shop. To be honest, kebab shop pizza might be even better than what we ate. It was burnt on the sides as you can see in the picture and luke warm. Not enough ingredients and toppings at all. The arancini was cold, and we had a very wobbly table. Staff does not seem to care the quality of the food they are serving to customers. Rissotos and pastas were great but with my experience, I would rather go and eat in a take away place paying half of the price rather than paying £16 for an inedible pizza. We did not complain about it as we were so hungry and the manager told us before we sat down that there is a 45 minutes wait on food, with only 3 tables in the restaurant. I hope head office will deal with this matter, we do not want to see another pizza place shut down because of the poor quality of food. Sides arrived late after we finished our mains. I hope these get sorted out.

Came for a nice Christmas lunch, food was exemplary and service was fast, only let down was the waitress, short with dark hair. She was very rude and ignored us repeatedly. Our experience was saved by the younger manager who was able to help us with our needs.

Disappointing. Went as a work Christmas meal. Not offered the festive menu as expected. No Christmas atmosphere. Very rushed. The food we had was not terrible but not at all what was expected. Will not go again.

Ordered through deliveroo, pizza arrived cold, and another dish from the order was missing. Zizzi’s informed me I would need to go through deliveroo to sort out a refund, however deliveroo only refunded me for the cost of the dish and not for the delivery or inevitable small order fee that would ensue if I was to attempt to re order it (which I will not be doing because why should I have to pay extra for the restaurant’s error?). Really poor service imo.

Had to go to MD's after 45min waiting for our food after ordering with our young child. Went back after a year. Place looks renewed and very elegant. But food got worse. Everything is smaller and poorer. A look on my food make me just sad. 😞

Not a very good experience, plates were cold, we sent one meal back it was cold, they did offer another option but we refused, will not be going back any time soon.

Only 2 customers, they took 20 mins to take drinks orders. 50 mins no food & several others after were served. Lost 2 mains orders along the way & waited an hour. Service is not intuitive, plenty to cover it but not savvy thinking. on who needs orders taken. Poor service & not the first time , food wasn’t as good as usual either. They tried to make up for it but by that point we wanted to walk out. If not late in afternoon we would have. Managers need to pick up, more intent on getting people in than providing a good service to those inside . Go to wildwood opposite a much better service.

Absolute shambles. Had a booking here last night with my partner, on arrival, after an hours drive, we were told the kitchen had closed because they weren’t very busy so had decided to shut early. Won’t be returning.

Wonderful food, and always great for allergies which is why I’m so saddened the service was just so poor today. I always come here for gluten free options and it never disappoints, but the service was embarrassingly slow today…took 20+ mins to be asked for a drink. Every time we needed something, we had to go find them. They also forgot our second drinks order. Will be returning but hope for better staff

Honestly, a bit of a shambles this evening. Zizzi are currently running an offer on their website - save 25% when you sign-up to their membership scheme, which I did, only the restaurant staff appeared to be oblivious to this offe! I was left with a staff member arguing with me, in front of my young son, whilst I literally showed her the offer on my phone. Not a great experience and coupled with extremely slow service. She did honour the offer in the end, but it was clear she didn't want to, even though it's clearly being advertised. 🤔 The food wasn't too bad, but Zizzi's simply isn't worth the asking fee, even with discounts. Stick to Beefy Boys folks and avoid the chains I'm discovering.

Greeted and offered indoor or outdoor table, was a lovely evening so sat out. Restaurant was extremely busy as was outside, fantastic waitress who was covering a lot of tables but still very attentive. Food was very good, not the biggest of portions but hot and fresh.

Normally come everybody month with my other half for our anniversary. Anyways this one lady with ginger hair and a black skirt is rude when bringing us to our table. “Here it is” then walks off. Today we ordered and another table who entered after we paid got their drinks way before us. We only had water? When our food came after nobody even acknowledged the fact we didn’t have forks or any cutlery so eventually had to ask. Not sure why this would be the case as there were like five workers in (may I add all talking in grey shirts?)
