Visited Zizzi Cheshire Oaks on 14th February for lunch with a girlfriend and was greeted and served by Penny. Service was excellent she ensured we had everything we needed and the food was top notch cooked by David who was a lovely guy. Highly recommend. Eileen.

Penny served us. She was warm, friendly and her service was fab. She also makes a great decaf latte. I had the mushroom risotto which was so creamy and delicious I could have totally eaten it again so thank you David for cooking up a storm in the kitchen. We will be back.

We visited last night for my birthday meal. When we arrived they notified us of an issue that had caused a delay and told us food might be a bit of a wait. They were very apologetic all through the night but I wouldn’t even say that we waited for food much longer than any other restaurant! They were very generous and gave us a beautiful complimentary dessert and garlic bread for being so patient. Dass and Casey went above and beyond to ensure we had an awesome meal - we defo did! But the whole front of house team were on fire doing an impeccable job. Me and my partner both love Zizzi and have been to plenty but Cheshire Oaks was the best in terms of staff, food and atmosphere. We were visiting Chester for my birthday weekend but we will definitely make an effort to visit Cheshire Oaks Zizzi again! Thankyou for the best birthday meal I’ve ever had! 💕

King prawn linguini was very spicy, prawns were also very small and there were only 5 on the dish. The taste was just masked by the spice. The calzone filling wasn’t very tasty. Overpriced

Really lovely food, but mostly impressed with the service from Brooke. Really helpful and a natural manner that made us feel at home. We had other options available to us but her immediate welcome and first impression made us decide to dine here. Very good.

My wife and I had visited Cheshire Oaks yesterday for some clothes shopping and we decided to book Zizzis whiles we were there. Absolute great choice, amazing food. The service that we received was so good. Asli who was our host for the evening, was fantastic, she deserves an outstanding applause for the service she personally provided. She was so friendly, helpful and nothing was to much trouble. She is a huge credit to yourselves. All the other staff and the manager, whom also greeted us, were also excellent, such friendly people throughout, they all create a great atmosphere whiles enjoying such lovely food. We are not local, but we will be recommending Zizzi Chesire Oaks and will be definitely be returning. Thankyou everyone once again making our evening so great, Jo and Lee 👏

Excellent service throughout our visit by the team especially dass (Brooke supervisor) who went above and beyond despite it being so busy and the staff being ran off their feet and having to deal with some unpleasant customers who did nothing but complain about the wait times for food, knowing this couldn't be helped and it not being the fault of the staff members, myself and my partner knew it wasn't their fault, it was down to the big cats cutting corners of cost meaning less staff members there to help out and the poor chefs who worked tirelessly to get the food out when best they could. However I couldnt knock the staff at all, they where all fantastic and brilliant and did everything they could to please everyone, they deserve a medal in my honesty opinion and reward for being so outstanding and professional. Would recommend this place to anyone, thank you again dass for being amazing and keep up the hard work, and I hope your bosses reward you like you deserve you was amazing if not brilliant in all that you did for us. Had an amazing birthday meal at Zizzi Cheshire oaks bent over backwards to make it very special last time we come was this time last year, unbelievable visit Staff were a credit to you company, chef made lovely food, complimented compliment James friendly lad can’t believe he is 19! Wow. Server Brooke was also friendly, chatty brill customer service, Asli the manager didn’t rush like other restaurant brands have done in the past. She entertained us with here stories… she’s a stand up comedian! Amazing manager and customer service skills were 10/10! She has so much passion for the brand… and loves her job was and signed us up to the Zillionaires club we cannot wait to use back home in our regular Worcester Zizzi. All and all excellent and extremely professional and pleasant visit as usual. Thank you!!!

The staff were friendly and checked on which offers were available with Blue Light Card for us. The food was excellent and the restaurant felt cosy. Definitely a place I will return to.

My partner and I went tonight (Saturday). When we arrived, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait on food as it was busy. Service in general was quite slow and we ended up waiting about 40 minutes for food. Honestly the staff were doing as best as they could and special mention to Dass as she was constantly running around and had great customer service skills when resolving issues with other tables. The food was nice but we didn’t have time for desserts which was quite disappointing, as we had a booking at the cinema.

We were greeted by Sophie as we entered as we had tried every other restaurant and turned away as closing. The service was super friendly all the time, very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. The manager Asli was also super friendly and polite. 100% going again.

Me and my partner went to zizzis last night for our anniversary. The lady that was on was so lovely there were a fee problems with other guests however she dealt with everything brilliantly and we can't say anything bad about our service even got free deserts as an apology for all the drama. Food was spot on as always it's definitely our favourite place to for date night

Over an hour late. Missing a pizza just under £20 alone!! Everything arrived cold! Extremely dissatisfied!!

1 Star Disappointed with my experience. My Deliveroo order never arrived after waiting over two hours. When I called the restaurant, I was told no driver had picked up the order, which resulted in me asking what could be done to solve this issue, with no further help or advice being offered. I understand things can go wrong, but the lack of support was frustrating. Unfortunately, it’s put me off ordering again.

Like most places now when you dine out, my portion size for my main was more like a starter but at a cost of a main. I'll not be dining out at Zizzi Cheshire Oaks until such time as the customer gets value for money.

The food alone was fantastic so well made, meatballs to start with and they were probably the best meatballs I've ever had really succulent and moist throughout not too heavy either. Second course was the six layer lasagne also had a side of sweet potato fries, the lasagne was wonderful call me easy going but it was again the best lasagne I'd had well made compliments to the chef. Honeycombs cheesecake for dessert good in terms of quantity not too big or too small really tasty would definitely have the entire meal again as it was all faultless and really delicious would highly recommend. Now for the grand finale our server Dass was absolutely brilliant very attentive making sure that we were both ready to order our food, always checking up on us to make sure we were enjoying our meals, best service that I've had at a restaurant so far, she could not of done any better so nice and so friendly loved it the entire time we were there. Highly recommend zizzi to anyone friends or family as it is a very good restaurant and the staff are so friendly and helpful would defo go back in the future.

Was shopping on Cheshire oaks this evening and me and my partner where looking for somewhere to have food and we ended up going into zizzis when we arrived we where greeted by Penny who showed us to our table told me about the Christmas set menu and took our drinks order while we looked at the menu then our serve David came over and answered any question that we had. Overall we had a lovely time and will definitely be coming back.

Popped in for a quick lunch, Asli was working very hard - she was seating everyone as well as serving food and settling the bills. However, despite being busy she took time out to engage with us and made recommendations. The chef, red-headed chap, made the best pizzas. We would have liked to have heard a little Xmas music to make the atmosphere a bit more festive to match the menus, how beer, we will definitely return.

The member of staff Casey was amazing. We felt like friends by the time we left. Although there was several items missing off the menu, she ensured that we had great food. The pizzas were delicious and plentiful.

So story time, came on a date with a man we shall call Jon. Mediocre afternoon at best. Pathetic small talk, awkward tension. But being a good sport, decided to come for food with him, as sometimes you have to be kind, especially to the less able. So decided that a place called Zizzi would be the place to go. I've seen them dotted around on highstreets and thought, that will do, as one assumes Jon doesn't have a sophisticated palette. Was pleasantly surprised by a delightful young lady named casey. Terribly sweet, polite and eager to help (unlike jon). Whilst chatting with casey about specials and deals, we met a boy named David. And he was equally as charming. Had such a pleasant meal (3 courses), which is great news, if we all remember how my prior engagement was going. So would highly recommend this restaurant, but don't take Jon with you, find someone of better substance.

Review for Zizzi Restaurant, Cheshire Oaks Visited Zizzi at Cheshire Oaks on a busy Saturday afternoon around 3 PM. With the hustle and bustle of the shopping village, we expected the restaurant to be equally busy. Despite this, we were seated promptly, and our drinks and orders were taken quickly. However, it was clear the staff were under pressure, with plates being sent back from other tables. Our starters and the kids’ meal arrived in good time, but there was a significant wait for the main courses. When they did arrive, one pasta dish was undercooked to the point of being inedible, another was lackluster and underwhelming, and the risotto was just okay. On the brighter side, the two pizzas we ordered were excellent—delicious and well-cooked. When we raised our concerns with the waitress, she was incredibly apologetic and immediately offered to address the issue. She asked if we wanted replacement meals and was genuinely sweet in trying to resolve the situation. Shortly after, the assistant manager, Asli, came over, and her professionalism and approach completely turned the experience around. She sincerely apologized, removed the three problematic dishes from our bill, and ensured we left feeling heard and valued. Her handling of the situation was exemplary—kind, attentive, and focused on making things right. While the meal itself had its ups and downs, the level of customer care we received was outstanding. The service we experienced, especially from Asli, made a huge difference and left us wanting to return. She is truly a credit to Zizzi and reflects what excellent customer service should be. Would we come back? Yes, thanks to the way the staff turned a disappointing start into a positive experience.

Casey was a very good member of staff. She wasn’t told that the kitchen had run out of spinach, the kitchen were serving rocket instead of spinach which drastically changes the flavour. Casey then took a drink off the bill for the mistake. Thank you Casey. 😁

Great looking food and good service. Only downside is that it is very pricey.

Visited today with friends. The host was lovely and we were served and seated quickly. Unfortunately there was plastic in my chorizo carbonara. It was dealt with efficiently and the price of the carbonara was taken off the bill and I was offered another serving. However the serving I was given wasn’t the chorizo carbonara it was something different. The complaint was dealt with efficiently and the staff were lovely however I was left disappointed to receive a completely different alternative.

Staff Penny, David and Sophie were fab hosts all evening ….. they really made our evening (even listening to our jokes 🫢😂😂) Far better experience than last year and loved our round table up the corner. Proper got us in the Christmas spirit … thanks guys xx👍🎅🏻⛄️❄️

Sunday evening it was quiet even still drinks took a while waiting on staff were all very nice though and welcoming they new the menu and recommendations food was excellent 👌

Actually horrified. Where do I start. Acknowledgment off three members of staff. Odd atmosphere. One member behind the bar looked thrilled to be there and was running around, a lady (clearly a manager) was in the kitchen prep area. Having stood for several minutes with a fidgety toddler someone finally seated us and handed us a set menu and said that was all that was available. Sat at the side of the kitchen area I was horrified so much so it put me off eating! The lady in the kitchen had her hair down, lots of jewellery around her hands and wrists, long nails, no gloves and was flitting between prepping meals, all hygiene standards appeared to have left the building. Having watched her using her fingers to prep someone’s food and flicking her hair around over food prep areas and pizzas it was time to leave. No order placed thank god we left before we did!

David’s service was brilliant - attentive, friendly and professional throughout! Highly recommend!

Although my pizza base was raw the attentiveness of David throughout the night made up for everything.

Went for a birthday meal with family recently, arrived on time, were made to wait for a seat (had booked). Took along time to take drinks order (had to ask staff to come over), then was told that quite a number of items on the menu were unavailable. Similarly took time to take food order When food arrived, 1 dish was stone cold, 1 was lukewarm and 1 who's main incredient was chicken was actually missing altogether. The restuarant was understaffed, and the manager was very apologetic, which we were sympathetic to, however since reading other reviews, this has been a common theme for some time, and believe that head office need to look into this.

Lovely family meal at Zizzi’s. David was brilliant and very attentive!

We booked a table for two at 7.15pm on Saturday 16th November 2024. We sat down at our table for two at approximately 7.30pm. We waited half an hour to get some attention and eventually decided to leave, having not being offered even a drink. At the same time people who were sat after us were being served first. The service was appalling from the minute we walked in. The waitress took my number, apologised profusely and said someone would be in touch that evening or the following day. Have we received a call, no!

Left due to being left at table with no service, kitchen looked in chaos and a mess, won't be visiting this zizzi again

The worst service we have received in a long time. Staff were very polite but the no uniform/dress code is a bad idea as some staff look terrible. The time you wait for food is terrible. We waited 1hr for food and when it game it was burnt and looked terrible. If you want to go to zizzi in this area then go to Chester.
