Zizzi - Cheshire Oaks in Cheshire West and Chester

We were served by Brooke. Love the service she delivered, very approachable and professional. Also I would like to suggest, try rustica chicken pizza if you want something different for a change.

Celebrating birthdays soon as I walked in service was very good. Jordan - Manager was welcoming and recommended dishes to try, Ben on the bar was friendly nothing too much trouble and the food was 100% Chefs Ben & James couldn’t fault anything. Made us feel welcome and treated to a glass of Prosecco, would definitely recommend and will be returning. Thank you.

What a lovely team of staff! Warm and friendly service, fantastic food - all round good environment. It was a busy evening and you could clearly see each member of staff really pitching in to help out, lovely to see and made the experience all the more worth while.

Food was great, servers were polite and friendly. They made the night a lot better. I would come again just for Ben and Asli. Casey also looked like a very proficient waitress however we hadn't the fortune to be served by them all.

This was my First time visiting Cheshire Oaks ZIZI. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our big group was handled well and the food was lovely. Great to see the happy faces of the staff . Well done to Asli and all the team. If I come that way,for sure will visit again.

Welcomed by Ash at the door and shown to our table, which was clean and comfortable.  Ben introduced himself to us and looked after us throughout our meal. The food was great; we had Herb-Rolled Pork Belly and Chicken Milanese. All in all, a great meal. Thank you to Ash, Ben and all kitchen staff.

Ate here as a group of 6, all food came out on time and together. The staff are lovely and the food tasty. Can't fault the place

Me and my boyfriend came in for some food and were served by the lovely Asli and Ben, they served us a 3 course meal which was absolutely gorgeous, they’re customer service is exceptional and they provided us with everything we needed, they went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great, will definitely be coming here again and recommend to friends/family :) x

I came here after a day shopping with my parents. Casey was quick to greet and seat us, giving us the booth my mother requested as she finds them most comfortable. The whole team provided such a superbly friendly and relaxing environment. Every member who interacted with us were polite and helpful. Quick yet personal service throughout, even down to the polite gentleman who brought our drinks over. Personal touches throughout the experience. The food was sensational and the best visit to a zizi we've ever had. A new menu since we last visited and I have to say the quality of the food has increased tenfold. Casey, our main server was super friendly like the rest and extremely helpful/patient when waiting for my mum to navigate her blue light app when trying to use it for the bill. The perfect balance of checking on us without being overbearing throughout the experience. 10/10. We traveled from Manchester and honestly, the staff were so amazing we'd do so again in a heartbeat. I work in hospitality myself and I have to say, the team were so amazing that I'd have loved to apply to join if I lived closer! A real credit to the Zizi brand at the Cheshire Oaks branch. Lots of things off menu including bruschetta because they ‘didn’t have tomatoes’. Pork belly off menu but didn’t tell us until 20 minutes after taking away starter plates. Asked for no chilli in pizza ( which are made fresh ) and got chilli in both. Kids tiny tummy menu - cold and didn’t bring the bread with it. All in all after frequent bad experiences with multiple Zizzi we have decided we will not return to any. Over years we have been dozens of times; but no more I’m afraid. Food & service terrible.

We always visit this Zizzi’s (the last few times we have visited there’s been considerable staff shortages) But not today… from Casey taking the order to Shane serving the drinks and Ash serving the food it was fantastic!! The Pizza’s were lovely and served hot and the service was quick and efficient with friendly staff. Thanks guys!!!

Me and my son came into Zizzi after doing some shopping for his birthday. The service from the manager and Dass was fabulous, very friendly and approachable. The food was lovely, we will 100% return again.

Had the best experience ever at Zizzis in Cheshire Oaks on 25th September. Arrived with a very large party of 16. The wonderful lady, Asli said it was no bother and just pre warned us that all staff were training and had only been on shift a few days. All the team quickly put a large table together with no complaints. We then had the most wonderful meal, could not fault the food. The staff were the nicest waiting on staff (and chefs) I've ever come across. Training ? You couldn't tell! They made the whole experience brilliant. Went above and beyond! If I didn't live so far away I'd have been back in no time. 10000 % recommend... and before this I really was undecided on Zizzis.

What was not cool was the fact the restaurant had their phone turned off, and you couldn't even ask how long it was gonna take.

Never tried Zizzi before and it was amazing! Travelling solo for work, i had the Chorizo Carbonara and it was 10/10. Brooke and Casey were brilliant waitress' and tended to me quickly and efficiently. Food was served within 10mins. They were both super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return ! Thank you!

Zizzis were great and accommodated us a table of 6 without a booking. Our server Brooke was absolutely brilliant, super polite and friendly and my daughters said “wow she’s lovely”. would highly recommend.

Our second visit to Zizzi, this one had the same great food and service but no atmosphere. We tried to work out what was the reason but couldn't. The previous one was very busy with lots of staff, this one wasn't busy and had only four staff. Front of house were attentive and friendly. We had a great meal but!

Did is always great but never enough staff so you wait forever

Had a fantastic meal today served by Brooke. Called in after a day's shopping for my daughters birthday we hadn't booked but we're able to fit the 6 of us in. Brooke was excellent waiting on us ,really friendly,my granddaughters commented on how lovely she was which was really good considering they are 10 and 5. Food was fantastic service brilliant thank you very much Brooke.

Popped in as had some Tesco Club Clubcard Rewards vouchers to use up, and was initially disappointed as there is a fault with their pizza oven and so the menu was limited to pasta dishes. However, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we branched out from our usual pizzas and had two lovely dishes between us - the ravioli and the prosciutto carbonara. Absolutely divine!

The food was OK hot loved the carbonara pizza was tasty however over cooked the spaghetti was delicious however abit watery the arrancini was tasty but abit peppery would be going again

Excellent food with great gluten free options

It was a Thursday. We both ordered the sane meal. Turned out they only had enough salad for one. Food was OK. Salmon well overcooked. I did mention to waitress. For what you paid I thought the portion was quite small

Casey welcomed us this evening and before she seated us she communicated, with confidence and explained there was a little wait til service. Which enabled us to choose. She did this sensitively in a positive cheery manner. Casey remained attentive through our dining, making us feel relaxed. We were incredibly happy in Zizzis. Even when we added an extra item to our order really late, it was not too much trouble thank you beautiful team.

I could not believe the poor service and management of this zizzi We got no food after waiting an hour and a half from our order . We had children with us who were extremely hungry at this point to be told our food had not even been cooked fumming

Had booked a table of 3 (two adults one child in highchair). Met up with friends at the cinema so they decided to tag along and see if we could change the booking to a table of 4 adults and 3 highchairs, which Sian (I presume was Front Of House manager) did juggle about to accommodate. She moved some tables together and that was fine for us. Unfortunately we were only given the set menu which was £26-/+ pp and the kids menus, which I felt was a bit sneaky as only when she came back to take our order (about 15-20 mins later) did she say that we could order off the full menu, but at this point the kids were getting rowdy and we just wanted to eat (it was now 1.30pm or so). Two other tables who arrived after we arrived were seen to before our orders were taken. We ordered single things off the set menu (which didn't have a price because it was a set menu). I ordered the Pinoli pizza, partner got the Sofia and I ordered a starter of veg sticks with bread, Bolognese with wholewheat penne pasta for my daughter. It took about 30 minutes for food to arrive. My pizza did not have the fresh basil on, nor did my daughter get Bolognese with penne pasta, she got the same as the baby at the table which was twisty pasta in a tomato sauce. We also asked for crayons for the children's menu to entertain them for the really long wait but they never came. Other floor staff were asked if we could have some children's cutlery as it was not provided so my daughter just ended up using her hands as the cutlery never arrived. We were not checked in on at all, drink top ups were not asked about, however staff did ask repeatedly at the time of payment for a tip, which the paying party members paid for as they felt awkward to say no. (I wouldn't mind paying for service if it was good but I do not feel this was!) The toilets were lovely. I do not understand why they're separated into Male/Female as the toilets were the same (toilet, sink and hand dryer). I do much prefer individual toilets but separating them into male/female seems redundant. Another member of our party had to flag down staff to ask for the bill as we had been waiting for 20 minutes for them to come and ask about the kids pudding (which was included in the set menu price for them) but they never did. As the children were really tired due to it being so warm in there without aircon we decided to just pay and leave. When asking for the bill Sian did apologise for the wait between everything and said it was down to lots of tables having allergies making it difficult to manage as she has to take the orders. She also said they were short staffed. Other party members were happy with the price of the food, especially the kids menu, but we did not enjoy it, not for the price (and the fact they got the order wrong?) First and last time dining at Zizzi's for us I think.

Tad sad to write a negative review but seated at 6 pm , full order taken about 20 minutes later as we d had plenty of time to look at menu. Drinks took another 20 mins to arrive.The starters nigh on a hour later.Simple garlic bread is all .Mains served at 7-20 pm ,pizza s looked good but beef pasta was warm at best and kids pasta was luke warm bordering on cold. I get its Saturday night and tables were occupied BUT that aint the customers fault .Communication and service was poor truth be told.Staff though friendly just looked massively under pressure. Sorry Zizzi. .. £100plus bill for 7 people deserves much better service. Be a very very long time before we dine with you again.

Greeted and seated politely and drinks order taken and delivered promtly by waitress. Food order taken and child's starter came fairly quickly and cleared, but then mains took calzone, pasta dish and Childs pasta took nearly 50 minutes to come out. We witnessed 4 or 5 other tables complaints of how long food was taking to come out followed by several tables walking out as we very nearly did. More frustrating than anything was the not being kept updated and feeling like we where being ignored by the embarrassed front of house staff. We would have liked more drinks and would have ordered had we have been asked. Once food eventually came out, we thoroughly enjoyed it and it was very tasty and good portion sizes.

Sian was an absolute delight and ensured we had a pleasant dining experience. Food was delicious as always.

We came last Saturday for an impulsive time out, Think Justin served us- food was great, service was good too. Really Warm. We paid the bill with someone who was new Manager ( I think) and was in training and he was lovely! Stopped for a quick chat despite, I imagine, a hundred other things to do- 🙏 Thanks for a fab time… promise will visit again soon 😀
