Zizzi - Bluewater in Dartford

We booked a table in advance as thought being December it would be busy, it was also my mums birthday and I had been recommending the festive menu to her as had it a couple of weeks before in Zizi Leeds and it was delicious. On arrival was advised no more walk ins were being permitted as the kitchen was finding it hard to cope, but as we booked would let us in as soon as a table was free as they were full. Eventually got seated and after some considerable wait got served, we ordered the mocktails, to then be advised they had run out of ingredients so would we mind changing our order - no problem. We then ordered from the festive menu, waiter then came back to advise my mains dish was unavailable, not doing well here - are we? For starters we had the pigs in blanket bombe and the prawns, we didn’t have to wait too long but mums prawns arrived, they looked delicious and she tucked into them, as she was eating the last one on the skewer I was still waiting for my starter, it then arrived, as mum was finishing, bit disappointed at the service. We then observed that no further people were being permitted in, there was obviously a staffing resource issue, they had 1 female manager, 1 floor manager, 1 waiter and 1 clearer for a busy large restaurant at lunch time ! Even the bar tender who was making the mocktails brought our drinks over. It was quite a long wait before our next course was ready, I could see on the serving pass that our food was sitting there waiting, it was there for ages, I was tempted to go and get it myself, our first course plates were still on the table and hadn’t been removed but I kept thinking I don’t want cold food. Finally the main course arrived, with our first course plates still on the table and no cutlery, the plates were put down, I had a pasta dish and it was stone cold, mum had the chicken dish and it was luke warm, I advised the waiter we could not eat as it was unacceptable, he looked at me in shock ! A few minutes later the food came back, guessing it was microwaved, it was a lot hotter, it actually tasted really nice. Finally, dessert - that was great. Asked for the bill …. Guess what? …. That was wrong too! Charged for the mocktail they didn’t have ingredients for. All in all a pretty disastrous visit, didn’t even make mum feel special for her birthday despite putting in the booking. A generous 2 stars here at a push!

Lovely afternoon spent today at bluewater Zizi's, was looked after by Hayley, who was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Went to enjoy my zizi bonus of a free main course... which was lovely

We’ve been at the Zizzi in Bluewater shopping centre today and the food was amazing . Josep was taking care of every detail, making sure nothing is missing. He gave to the little ones extra crisp to keep them happy meanwhile we were waiting our food. I would recommend this place and for sure we will go back there again.

Josephs service was friendly, efficient and polite. Will definitely be back.

Food was lovely but we had a very intrusive waiter, leaning over us, constantly asking if each part of our meal was ok and lingered around after we answered. He was pushy with sides and desserts.

Quality of food is deteriorating. Pasta dishes contain so little sauce and are bland. Zizzis was always our first choice to eat .We will not be going back.

Came to Zizzi for lunch today on my own (finally got a day break from looking after my two small babies!) and was treated really well by all the staff who were polite, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Food was lovely (the menu is great at the moment!) I had garlic bread and the meatballs. Definitely recommend coming here if you want a nice relaxing meal in a warm friendly atmosphere. Thank you!

Came is as a walk in customer at bluewater, we managed to get a table and were served by Joseph. He was great, took our order and checked in regularly to make sure everything was good with our food. Very friendly. Would recommend to eat, great menu options and they have their Christmas menu available now aswell

For a start our seating at the back was very cold, service extremely slow. We had to get the attention of waitress/waiter if we required anything (order, drinks, bill etc). When we got our food it did not stay hot for long! Generally we were extremely disappointed never been before, and won’t be going again! It was our 10 year old granddaughters birthday dinner (8 people) and she wanted to go there!! Colouring sheets were supplied for the 2 children but no pencils/crayons!

Service was slow, we had to constantly get attention from staff. The restaurant was cold and the music was far too loud, we couldn’t hear each other speak. Food was mostly good, although an item was missing and some dishes were cold.

My partner brought me out for a birthday meal and it was absolutely spot on! When we first arrived, we were told that there wasn't any tables available by the greeter (I'm sorry, I didn't catch his name!) but he told us that he would sort us a table in the next 20-30 minutes so that was fine. Our waiter, Giuseppe, was incredibly friendly and was always there to make sure we were happy with everything and make us feel very welcome! The food was incredible, I had the fondue starter and I can't recommend it enough, it was so tasty! And my calzone was perfect too! All in all, a great visit that made my birthday even better!

Came in today for my partners birthday and had a lovely meal! Our waiter Giuseppe was amazing. He was very happy and attentive and definitely made our visit special. He made us laugh and very comfortable. He also made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend going here and if you get Giuseppe as a waiter enjoy his contagious personality and bright smile 😊

Fantastic Birthday Celebration at Zizzi We recently hosted our son's birthday party at Zizzi, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff went above and beyond to make the occasion special. A special shout-out to Joseph, who took care of every detail with incredible attention and ensured we had everything we needed. His exceptional service and warm hospitality made the event run smoothly and made us feel well taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us celebrate this special day. Tried to order on the app but did not work. Then they want you to pay on the app and it did,surprise! But that means to make the payment you have to include a tip. Appaling not going there again !

When we arrived i asked about student discounts and they said that they would and when I asked the waitress about it she first said for goodness sake and then walked off I then asked again and she said that we couldn't split the bill and walked off again we waited for Marcelina to come back for over 15 minutes my table number is 53 CHK 107
