Had a lovely meal tonight and our server angie was amazing, i have food intolerances and she was very helpful in catering to my requirements and helping me with the menu and was just so lovely the entire meal! food was also brilliant!

Appalling No service sat down other tables complaining. Staff not willing to serve no management we walked out in the end. No one was interested shockingly!!

The waitress Angi was superb and food was actually good. The volume in there though was appalling so found it very hard to have a conversation. There seemed to be no acoustic control at all. It was so nice to walk out into what normally seems like a very noisy part of Bluewater. Not sure those noise levels are even legal for employees. A big shame but we'd never go back as a result.

I came into the restaurant Tuesday evening. I don’t normally leave reviews but me and my partner had such a good experience I thought I would write one today. We were served by a waitress called Megan and she was very good. The restaurant was very busy (probably the Christmas rush) but Megan handled all her tables very well. She was always checking in to see if we wanted anything or had any issues. Normally when we go out to a busy restaurant we feel like we get forgotten by staff due to the busyness of the restaurant but that was not the case this time. The food was also very nice and cooked well. Overall brilliant service 10/10.

We arrived at 9.10pm and were told they couldn't seat us due to staff shortages. The restaurant only closes at 10.30pm and it wasn't very busy in there. Very disappointing.

It is bold claim but it's true. I was keeping eye on this place after 2nd time happened. This place is bit racist. I was rejected table on 3 different random occasions after that I was standing somewhere in corner to see if they let someone in and they did everytime. It happened more recently and they said 20 min waiting time even though tables were empty and as soon as we left they let someone in. Just for thier reminder you are just food chain not Michelin star posh restaurants so don't act like one. After this we ended up eating at wagamama. We go out and eat regularly on every occasions and spend more then 100. I will never eat again there.

Waiting over 2 hours for food, and when delivered it’s cold

Terrible, I ordered at 5.45pm and the food was delivered at 9.10, food was cold and half the order was also missing! Called the Pizza Express to cancel the order but they clearly didn't. Not even worth 1 star but this won't get submitted otherwise.

We recently celebrated my daughter’s 10th birthday along with 11 of her friends and the team at the plaza p.express were so helpful and efficient. We preordered menu choices a few days before and it was stress free! Our lovely waiters were amazing and patient with the girls and service was quick and organised on a hugely busy Sunday afternoon! They were happy to store our bday cake in the fridge and was not at all flustered by a large table in a packed restaurant. Food was delicious and hot and all served together. Thanks for a fab experience.

Absolute joke of a restaurant. Kids running around screaming, waiter did not understand the English language. Ordered a chicken Buddha bowl and was given a goats cheese Buddha bowl, Ordered a peperoni pizza with extra pepperoni only to be given an olive pizza Buddha bowl was rectified but the pizza was laughed at. 30 years of life I’ve never eaten an olive. Paid for a pizza that I didn’t eat. Glasses of coke nearly £4 and don’t even come in a clean glass. Safe to say I won’t be returning and il be letting the rest of my pizza express vouchers expire and go in the bin. Waste of time. The fact you go for dinner and then have to by another meal on the way home because it was unsatisfactory.

Pizza Express is one of my favourite restaurants and this visit like all my other visits did not disappoint. We did arrive a little bit late after a viewing at the cinema but the waitress (Angie) & staff were understanding and provided amazing service. The meal we had yesterday was for my birthday and we were lucky to have the same waitress again as last year, again for my birthday. Angie is such a quick, reliable, kind and amazing waitress. Angie was happy to help with any queries or questions we had. Due to our booking being for a party of 12 they were really accommodating and also sent an email before to make sure everything was pre-ordered and ready to go. I highly recommend this restaurant as the staff are always lovely and the food is just amazing.

Megan was super polite, attentive, informative and made our experience memorable. Food was good as usual, generous with toppings and was great for our afternoon outing.

Popped there today to enquire about a offer on the app. Think the lady was a manager as was rude and could tell she had a long day and didn't want to be there. Working in a near by store were there's alot of us that would use the offer would of been nice if she could find a way to help but guess not. Will definitely not come back again

Claire, Illy and Suzi were amazing servers, very helpful, and incredibly friendly.

The restaurant was almost full but we could only see 3 servers who were having to take orders, prepare and serve drinks and serve food. Way understaffed. We asked for some tap water with our drinks that never turned up. We had starters but after having been in the restaurant an hour our food turned up, the pizza was incorrect and the pasta dish was cold! We asked the server if we could cancel the order and pay for what we had. She had to ask the manager to authorise which he did without even acknowledging with us that there was an issue. We did not want to wait any longer so went to the till to pay rather than wait goodness knows how long for the bill to be brought to the table. After seeing us do so other customers followed our lead. Terrible experience. No way the fault of the server, they were rushed off their feet but remained polite, friendly and professional.

A fairly standard pizza express - staff are much better. They are very aware of allergies, not just standard ones like gluten. Natasha was extremely good suggesting alternatives to GF options that had sold out. We have also black pepper allergy,in the group,and Natasha checked to ensure that it is served as ordered! Brilliant serving.

Stone cold pizza on arrival, which is a shame because the rest of the order was okay. Delivery driver left pizza express at 7.15 and delivered at 7.45, we live approx 7 mins away so must have done multiple drops before getting to us. Not ideal when delivering very thin Romana pizza!

I had dinner with friends here tonight and the service from our waitress, Angie, was impeccable. She was so friendly, attentive and took care of everything we needed with no fuss. Food was delicious and overall we had a great meal. Thanks Angie!

Had the worst dinner at pizza express. We were told thee was a 20 min wait for food, which was fine. We waited an hour! My salad turned up dry with processed looking chicken. The manager was not empathetic at all and came across rude! Very disappointed. We have always eaten in pizza express and had no problems. Lack of staff and misleading timings was a big issue.

The food here is delicious, but the service is poor. Most of the waitstaff are always in a bad mood and slow to take and deliver orders.

Every time I visit this restaurant, the entry staff try to discourage us to do not eat here. They say the waiting time is long and if we say we wanna table, another two times they are suggesting if we really want to wait and that we are happy about it. Surely restaurants want customers not opposite? Not here I guess.

Usually good but really poor all round this weekend at the Bluewater plaza restaurant. We booked a table for 2pm, was seated and we ordered pretty quickly. 45min later I asked how long food would be as my 2 year old was getting restless/hungry. We was told not much longer, however at 3:15pm I was told the pizzas were not even in and it would be a further 20 mins at least. 3 tables around us also waited over an hour and left before the food arrived. We gave up after asking to speak to a manager and no-one would come over. Not once during the 1 hours 20 mins did anyone update us/any of the tables for that matter, nor did they offer drinks etc. If the wait for food is going to be 1 1/2 to 2 hours then people need to be told before they even step into the restaurant.

The waitress Eloise was soooo lovely she made sure everything was perfect for the children and even provided a bit of entertainment. Honestly went above and beyond what we expected. So lovely to see and grateful for the hospitality. Pizza was great!

Never visit this branch, the staff only serves proper to people who tip them. They did not give us proper service, made us wait for 30mins to take the order and that even with a toddler. Worst experience ever. Went to fine in for the first time and last time. Very poor service

Hi Tripadvisor, Recently came with friends and enjoyed the meal a lot. Service was great especially from Samuel the young man who we spoke to. The pizza was great- would definitely come again.

Ordered food as a table of 9. Took half hour to bring dough balls over and a further 20 minutes for the pizzas, all this while multiple other tables were getting their food promptly. Waitress wasn't overly attentive. When we asked for the bill was left waiting further with aggregated young children. App payment system terrible too. Would look elsewhere and won't be returning

If I could score less than 1 star I would. This place is the worst pizza express ever Staff are rude, they do not apologise for messed up food orders twice… Then I had to physically get up and get a manager. Go to the one in the village instead

The restaurant was completely understaffed when visiting earlier today. The staff present seemed completely stressed and overworked. Unsure who arranges the staff rota but they leave a lot to be desired!

Had a great evening at Pizza express with some friends last night. I struggle to eat out at restaurants due to the severity of my allergies. Our waitress Claire was really friendly and extremely attentive to my allergy needs :)

So picture this. I’m at Pizza Express, trying to cash in on some vouchers, but it felt like I stumbled into a linguistic obstacle course with Sylwia at the helm. We even attempted a candle in a brownie celebration for my son's second birthday, but I think I would have been better off using sigh language with Stevie Wonder – hopeless! With six staff members and only five tables, you'd think we'd have better odds, but alas, it was a comedy of errors. Ended up paying the "confusion tax" of an extra £20 just to get out of there. Next time, maybe I'll bring a translator and a clown for backup entertainment! 🤡 At least the food was great as always though 🍕

Love Pizza Express ! Nice ambience ( tucked away a bit from the main shopping area) a really friendly and helpful server. Great Pizza and Pollo Pesto Pasta. Can’t fault it. Used their app to pay and add ‘rewards’ such an ingenious idea. Love it! No photo as I was so hungry !

We booked a table at the Plaza location for 11.45. Our food did not arrive until 12.50 by which time we only had ten minutes to eat and not enjoy the food as we were rushed! We ended up having to ask for take away boxes for the food so the kids could eat later. I had to ask the waiter 4times to chase the kitchen for the food and it was only on my last comment of cancelling the order did the food arrive. I feel so frustrated with the restaurant as we arrived when only 2 other families were there. It became obvious that the hour there the place became packed and the kitchen could not keep up with the orders. Either that or we were just forgotten about! I am a gold member and use the company a lot this has really angered me as it put a sour note to an enjoyable day in Bluewater to finish the Half term.

Food was great but place was very busy . I was really disappointed in the state of the bathrooms . Obviously not been attended to in a while as two of if three cubicles unusable and filthy . Shouldn’t bathrooms be inspected regularly throughout the day ? Mentioned this to our waitress on way out .

Ordered starters which came out relatively on time but mains took an hour to arrive. We complained to the waitress about this, who got the manager to speak to us. The manager asked “Who showed us to our table?”, to which we answered we didn’t know. He also said that we were told that food would be 30 minutes at the time of showing us to our table but at no point were we told it would take so long. If this was the case we may have chosen a different place to dine. He seemed disinterested in our grievances with the delay in being served mains. Not exactly what I would have expected. Food was ok but experience marred by the manager interaction with us.

The pizza was freezing cold. Couldn’t even cut into the base. Wont order again.

Went there in the evening yesterday. Compliments to the guy who made the sloppy giuseppe on a romana base. Thin, cripsy and perfectly made!

Not the best pizza express I've been to. The service was awful, there was no atmosphere and ridiculously overpriced £10.75 for a glass of mediocre wine.

Vazira was amazing, a lovely and authentic person- good luck with your studies! Manager Billy was great help too.

Service was slow and pizzas were not particularly warm.

Was a Sunday evening, you would expect a calm and peaceful meal. Was far from that. Terrible & rare service. Loud kid parties all around. Lots of toppings missing from their menu. Every waiter would look at you and not even consider coming to take an hour. Waited over 15 mins upon arrival for my order to be taken despite being ready straight away. I would go downstairs and dodge this place

What Wonderful staff at Pizza Express Bluewater, especially Claire who went above and beyond to make our whole family feel welcomed and relaxed. One of our children is a non-verbal special needs child and Claire made such an effort with her: she spoke to her using Makaton sign language, she had the common sense to know not to put her food in front of her (she’d already seen 2 drinks get launched across the restaurant) and ensured that we received quick service. Food was delicious and we had a really enjoyable experience. Thank you.

This is the second time I have ordered a Pizza via Deliveroo and both times Pizza Express have sent the wrong Pizza. The order number on the pizza box matched the order given when ordered but on both occasions the pizza was not what was ordered so it was a clear Pizza Express error and not a Deliveroo mistake.

Came here for a spontaneous dinner and had an amazing experience! They accommodated for our fussy food choices and gave plenty of recommendations. The service was great and food was delicious

Romana American hot is the best pizza around

Dough-ing it Right - Pizza Express is a popular chain of Italian restaurants with over 400 locations in the UK. I recently visited this Pizza Express in Bluewater Upper level during midday and was impressed by the fresh quality ingredients. The atmosphere though busy was relaxed and casual, with plenty of seating and staff working hard. The service was friendly and efficient. Our waitress was happy to answer our questions about the menu and make recommendations, however we are customers from old, so knew exactly what to order. Starters were tomatoes and mozzarella with pesto and fresh basil. I ordered calamari both were tasty and full of flavour. My girlfriend ordered for her main Salad Nicoise with extra dough sticks, myself ordered my favourite Pizza Florentina again both excellent, fresh and tasty! Drinks are as you would expect but Overall, we have been eating at various Pizza Expresses for many years, however the service, quality, taste here was how I expected it to be, although a little pricey, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others......5/5

My husband and I regularly come to this Pizza Express as it's basically right next to our favourite cinema. The food is lush and with the Pizza Express app, we can save loads of money, we're currently Silver members which means at every visit we get free dough balls, free soft drink, free hot drink and yesterday I also got my pizza for free as a birthday treat. Three courses each and it came to just over 40 quid. With all the discounts and great service, we ended up round it up to 50 quid. Still, £25 each for three course meal, soft drink and hot drink - pretty great deal! We often get the same server when we go called Angie and she is brilliant. Very friendly, professional and knows pretty much everything there is to know about Pizza Express. Attentive, but not overly so. All in all, the perfect waiter, basically 😄

we HAD booking till 9 and we arrived at 5 to 9:00 pm the waiter told us that they close at 9 and on google says it close at 23:00. My wife is pregnant and we have little 2 old baby. Even that they didn't accepted us to go in. so, We went in ZIZI and even without booking they accepted us and we was very good served. I´m very disappointed with this brunch as worst we´ve ever been.

I had my son's 7th birthday party at the upper Pizza Express in Bluewater today and our host Angelo was briliant! Kept the children entertained and made them laugh lots. Would definitely recommend

We were treated very badly because we were black. They ignored us for the longest, the waiter came, ignored the two black kids with me and handed a hat to the white child in our group. I called him and he simply walked away. I signalled two other times and repeated the same behaviour. I spoke to another person who I thought was the manager, no apology was rendered nor any details taken, he just told us he'll investigate. They ignored us and served everyone else. We had to leave with the children, one of whose birthday was ruined because we chose to go to pizza express! Absolutely unacceptable behaviour.

Delicious hot food, Pollo Pesto followed by Honeycomb Cream Slice which, I am pleased has been re- introduced to the menu after being previously removed in a menu shake up. The restaurant started to get a little busy as it was lunchtime in the school holidays but we didn’t feel pressured to ‘eat up and move on’ which added to a great experience. Our waitress ‘ illy’ was delightful, returned with the dessert menu in a timely fashion and we didn’t feel forgotten at any time. Will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

It’s my second visit! Because I really liked the first visit ;) There are two Pizza Express in Bluewater, but this one is better based on my experiences! Nice people and nice food!

Over the weekend I bought 14 disabled children to this restaurant and the staff could not have been more welcoming, accommodating and helpful if they had tried. Usually activities like this can be stressful, but they allowed me to book in advance (which is rare in Bluewater). Then on the day staff were again very understanding of our groups needs and the fact we had a budget due to working for a charity. Our waitress Seann, had a smile throughout as did the others. The food was great! We all had a lovely time. Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back!

Try the tikka paneer pizza. One of the best I've had for a long time👌. Drizzle some 🌶 oil for an extra kick 🥵 Why serve pizza on a small plate🤔. It overhangs and difficult to cut. Pizzas are a bit pricey too.

We stopped off at this pizza express after doing a bit of shopping in Bluewater , we ordered a garlic bread , with extra garlic butter , a margarita pizza and some halloumi bites, the food was good, but I would but the bites again, they where tasteless. We washed the food down with a bottle of peroni , this was expensive and a can of soft drink . Would visit again

Love it there, great staff/food/atmosphere

Manager very agressive to the staff, one was crying and she was still shouting at her, very diostracting from the nice atmosphere. Disapointing really, will not be going back.
