Ordered pizza, was not even Luke warm, very unappetising

Service was absolutely fantastic, unfortunately the food was no so good. Pizza was burnt with very little cheese on it. When we complained it was taken off the bill but as we were short of time it meant we had to share one main and that wasn't really ideal

We were in a bit of a rush to make it ontime to the nearby theatre, the speed and efficieny of the staff was really impressive without losing the personal touch. We only ordered a mains each due to the time aspect, the food was delicious and generally well cooked and prepared. I would have given five stars however the bed of spinach and kale under my chicken Milanese contained many, many inedible stalks, had we not have been in such a rush I would have sent it back. A shame as apart from this our experience was very positive.

For the second time in 2 years, I ordered online via Uber Eats from Zizzi, Aylesbury. It was just as revolting and disappointing the second time! I ordered the Casareccia Pollo Piccante. It arrived warm and pasta perfectly cooked - and that's the end of anything positive I can say. It was phenomenally tasteless. Literally, it tasted of nothing. No salt, no pepper, no tomato, not even the pasta had a 'pasta' flavour! The 4 small dots of pre-cooked 'charred chicken' tasted vaguely chickeny like sandwich filling - but there were so few of them in one little huddle it was hard to tell! Worst of all: the pasta tubes were revoltingly covered in a slimy, thick, greasy film of oil. No flavour still, but an oil slick of some kind coated everything. The whole shambles went in the bin after three forks. Seriously, these people need to either send their sauce in a separate tub, actually taste what they are serving or just get acquainted with salt and less cups of oil Thank goodness the cheesy garlic bread had flavour, was tasty and warm, so I at least didn't go to bed hungry. Never again.

Food was OK, price OK..my only gripe is that £16.75 for a small serving of pasta is ridiculous

friendly service, food was fast but fresh. Good portion sizes. Nice quiet atmosphere for a quick lunch. We weren’t rushed though

Barbara has been always been great to me and my wife. We co get usually every couple of weeks and whenever she serves us she makes sure we are always happy with our meal. We will definitely be dining there again.

Several items missing from the menu, so chose something else. When my starter turned up the server said that they had run out of what my wife had ordered, so she had to share my starter, then they had added it to our bill, so not great.

We are regulars and Zizzi’s Aylesbury owing to my son’s love of pizza over any other food! We booked for New Year’s Eve and were served by a young man named Dylan. He was so attentive and friendly. He really looked after us and went above and beyond to ensure our requests were met. The staff always try their very best here and are sometimes understaffed. Despite this, the food is always spot on and the pricing fair. Very happy to have chosen Zizzi’s for our NYE meal. Reliable and fun. Thanks Dylan!

Zizzi tops. We were let down on my daughter’s birthday meal by her original choice (way too loud and customer service was rubbish) so now we started to find somewhere on a Saturday evening to eat. We managed to find somewhere but passing my daughter spotted Zizzi. I had been to Zizzi for a work meal the week before. I said go there their food is fantastic. They squeezed us in on a very busy Saturday night and made us feel so welcome you would think we had been going for years. The service was excellent and food equally as excellent. Thank you so much to the manager and staff for saving a bad evening by accommodating us and making us feel special. Zizzi Tops

Haven't visited in a good while as the last time we were not overly impressed. Glad we tried again. The food was very impressive, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful even as the restaurant got busier. The kids menu is great and the mocktails were fabulous. If you haven't been in a while, definitely pop in and give the newer menu items a go! We will be back again soon. Very pleased. 😁

First time we’ve really had issues at this restaurant. Benefit of the doubt, it was a Friday night whilst a theatre show was on. We arrived about 7:10pm and ordered both starters and mains. The original waitress that went to take our order was extremely rude and even rolled her eyes when we said we needed a couple more minutes to order. The starters arrived pretty promptly and were lovely. However by 9pm we were still waiting for our mains. Multiple times I attempted to query it but no one was available. At one point there were multiple staff just stood by the kitchen waiting to run food. Eventually I was able to ask the waitress that took our order and she informed us they were “about to make the food” and showed me the ticket. Nearly two hours after ordering and she hadn’t even handed the ticket to the kitchen! I explained we wouldn’t be able to wait any longer. The manager (didn’t catch his name) came over and apologised and was absolutely brilliant dealing with the situation. Such a shame as it’s always been a good restaurant but last night was a low point.

Services was slow, could see staff bickering. We were sat near the kitchen and there is not great hygiene in place. One staff member used the apron to wipe their nose 🤢 was only watching them as our food was taking so long to arrive. Others seemed to have this issue.

Great service and affordable food

Went to zizzi in Aylesbury, booked a table for four at 7pm Mind you they don’t shut till 10pm We were immediately asked if we wanted a drink to which we said we were waiting for the fourth person - then not five minutes later a different waitress asked us again Once our plates were cleared, we were asked every five minutes as to if we needed anything else when we were clearly just sat enjoying our drinks- the waitress seemed annoyed and kept looking at her watch and making us uncomfortable- it was only 8:45 at this point We weren’t almost ushered out with the tense rude atmosphere and the stare and constant harassing Dissatisfied at the service it’s never been like this before

The two pizzas we ordered were cold when they got to us. The pasta I ordered (which I have quite a lot and usually really enjoy) was completely different to usual, and really salty!

First time I have been to a zizzi's restaurant in a while, very lovely atmosphere, amazing food and the whole vibe of the restaurant is warm and welcoming. A huge thank you to our waiter Lukasz, he was very friendly and attentive.

We really enjoyed our meal out at Aylesbury Zizzi’s. The staff were very friendly, and Hannah was very helpful. She was able to help us figure out our app, to help us use the promotion. She was very kind and looked after use throughout the meal. I had a gluten-free meal, and Hannah helped ensure that everything I ate stayed gluten free. The food was very tasty, well cooked, and served hot! Thanks for helping make a good night out.

I was very disappointed by the welcome from the Male Manager who didn't have much to say even when he was taking our order. I wish I ordered through the QR code now! The one good piece of service was the lady who served our drinks and food who was excellent and always having a smile on her face and being friendly and approachable despite her covering the whole restaurant while the Manager did hardly anything. He sat at one of the tables on his computer. I wish that I could have given the tip to her personally and wish I knew her name.

The manager and Barbara was amazing service was incredible and the food was lovely but they made it even more special, I wish all zizzi’s had these. Won’t be going to Milton Keynes that’s closer will be back here.

Great service, great atmosphere, the food is tasty too but they are so stingy on the cheese! I ordered a margarita, and was hungry so devoured most of it before taking a picture but see the comparison between their advertised photo on their website and the reality. I know we’re living in hard times but this is a bit stretched, kinda like their “rustica” base. Make sure to state it as soon as you receive it. The worst part is that I was enticed by their “rustica” base which states on their menu, “bigger base, crispier texture and, best of all more toppings” When I told one of the staff about this (not the one who was serving us, she was delightful), the other member seemed less than interested explaining that you will never get it the same as the images, I understand that but this is extortionate, and I dropped a star on their service as a result of that comment.

Indea our waitress was absolutely amazing from the time we walked through the door to the time we left. A great sense of humour, and a very professional attitude. Zizzi’s overall was very good

As well as being friendly, Indea was very thoughtful with our boys food choices asking if we wanted all the ‘frills’ removed.

Sunday evening, quiet and chilled. Staff were coming off of a busy afternoon but still gave great service and attentiveness to each customer.

The assistant manager, Indea, was fantastic. The best waitress I've ever had. So attentive and caring to the needs of our table. Explained the menu in detail and gave great food recommendations — would highly suggest visiting this establishment

I recently called Zizzi for a delivery order and had a wonderful experience thanks to Mihaela. I have a food allergy, and even over the phone, she took great care to ensure my dish could be safely modified. Despite the restaurant being very busy and dealing with difficult customers, Mihaela was incredibly friendly and professional. She managed everything with a smile, making sure I felt taken care of even without seeing me face to face. When I received my order, there was even a little handwritten note from Mihaela telling me to enjoy my meal – such a nice touch that really made my day. I can safely say that due to this interaction Zizzi has managed to acquire a regular customer. To fellow customers, a little kindness goes a long way. The staff are doing their best to accommodate your needs, often under challenging conditions like scorching weather and busy shifts where they might not even have time for a sip of water. Let’s show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication! And hey Zizzi, I gave the praise, maybe you should give a raise! 😊 Thank you, Mihaela, for your amazing service and attention to detail!

My daughter said it was her favourite place to eat ever and she wanted to give it 7 out of 5 stars. The children especially enjoyed the ice cream and the warm bread rolls.

We'd booked a table for 6:30 for a show at Aylesbury theatre at 8. We felt the service was a bit slow as main meal didn't arrive till just after 7:30 and we only just made the start of the show. My companions enjoyed their pizza and risotto. I had the pork belly and felt that it was overall too greasy, especially the potatoes. That said it was a good portion.

Fresh and tasty. Packaged and presented well. Really delighted with my food and delivery time overall!

Disappointing. I was served a hot drink with a dirty spoon which looked like it had been used to stir coffee - it was obviously dirty, why was not not spotted and how did it happen. Not hygienic. The knife had, I think, gone through a dishwasher but had the residue of something on it. The large pizzas were a different shape to the regular ones otherwise no difference in size. The lack of cleanliness of the eating utensils was concerning.

We booked Zizi for a 4th birthday party and the whole experience was superb. The staff were very friendly, attentive and very accommodating for so many of us (30) and also exceptionally patient trying to take orders from the bambino menu for 15 young children. They even dressed our table ready with decorations we provided and were able to bring cake and party bags in the day before. Thank you so much to everyone for making our little girls birthday so special.

Good food and great service. Portions a bit small considering the prices, and a rather noisy environment even though it wasn't very full, which I guess is the common "lots of hard surfaces" problem.

The lady in the white shirt on Sunday 26th May was absolutely fantastic. I saw how friendly she was, not just with us but all customers. She made the experience much more memorable. She was upbeat even towards restaurant closing time and explained the Zillionaire scheme to us. She's extremely pleasant and has great skills.

We had lunch on the bank holiday Sunday. It was a lovely day so we sat outside. The waiting staff (one called Barbara) were so friendly and attentive. We had a mix of starters to share between the two of us and we were both impressed with the food, it was tasty and so fresh. Already planning to go back again!

We had a fantastic meal, the food was cooked to perfection and the person serving us (lady with glasses and a long ponytail) was the most friendly and helpful person ever - really made the experience for us.

3 hours late and the courier had put a tear in the bag and also accidently opened one of the containers of food and it had leaked everywhere.
