Zizou Express Kettering in Kettering

I had a bad experience in Kettering. The lady who takes the order is arrogant. I gave the wrong order and she tried to convince me badly that I ordered that food even though I am a regular customer and I know for sure what I prefer every time. I am very disappointed .The money has not been returned to me either.

Ordered a takeaway. Food was good but was missing half the order. When calling to ask for the rest of the food, or a refund, the man on the phone told us there was nothing he could do and was no help. When then asking to speak to the manager, we were told he wasn’t present and to call his mobile, which he didn’t pick up. All in all a shame, won’t be ordering from here again. Understand mistakes happen, but they must be fixed, not left unresolved!

Amazing place with some of the best chicken i’ve had but the food does take a little bit to be served and the location puts it down a bit as it is a loud area but i highly recommend it such an underrated place. Hidden gem!

We have been ordering from them for years, food is amazing. However most of the time the food is only just warm & late! We ordered a week back on Just Eat. It was really late, food was stone cold, and missing 2 items of food! We rang them they said we can get a new one but will be 45 minutes which would take it to 10pm (could bet your top dollar that would have been late making it more 10.30pm) So I told them I just want a refund! They told us to get it from Just Eat. 4/5 days later, Just Eat still refusing to refund any money and that it should have been via the restaurant there and then! WE WILL NOT BE USING ZIZOUS ANYMORE OR JUST EAT! You’ve lost a loyal but tolerant customer. VERY DISAPPOINTED £40 down the drain! ALSO FUNNY HOW THEY DONT REPLY TO ANYONE ON HERE WHOS LESS THEN 4 STARS - SAYS IT ALL!

Paid £8 for cookie dough and was tiny I don’t even want to order anymore from here not after that

Food is good. Unfortunately every time I've placed an order I had to wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive. On a couple of occasions my order was mixed with someone else's and I had to wait for another hour for my order to be delivered again. Every time I get the same excuse: "Short of staff and we are really busy". It is a shame as the food is ok. DO NOT ORDER IF YOU ARE VERY HUNGRY OR IN A HURRY.

Tasteless burgers, worst hot-dogs you can find

Sad really as ive orderd about 5 times and the food is great but everytime they are late with delivery always!

Amazing food and delivery service. The burger was probably one of the best that I've had in Northamptonshire. Delivery driver was very quick and polite. I will definitely be using again!

Food was hot, chips and mac n cheese was good, as were the wings, but the burgers are so much better in the Northampton branch - the one I had in Kettering was quite firm, gristly and nowhere near as tender.

Ordered 4 different burgers, fries etc between us, and the boneless chicken wings…. WOW!! So impressed with not only the taste and quality of the food but also the presentation. Can’t fault a single thing that we ordered. Delivery was also quick with a friendly driver. Very happy with the service!!

Im choosy about milkshakes, even the ones that are considered good doesn’t satisfy me much. So when my wife offered me to try Zizou’s Biscoff Milkshake as a drink for my spicy chicken order, i was hesitant at first and try to avoid it for cola by subtly hinting to her that milkshake and spicy chicken may not go together. And I was wrong, so wrong i would try it next time as well. The milkshake have a good texture and flavour and left a lasting impression on my tastebuds, happy to have tried it and would highly recommended it.

Have just been there to collect a confirmed order, they told us they are shut, even though their website says they are open until 11 and also it is on the door. After us a delivery guy went in to pick up some order. Won't go again.

I’ll start by saying their food is great but delivery guy is not great. I had to wait 2 hours for my food yesterday, called the restaurant like 5 times and the lady kept telling be the driver is minutes away which was a lie. No matter how good they make the food, serving it 2 hours later is completely ruining the taste.. chips were soggy, burger was cold and chicken was dry because they kept it too much in the bag. Reading some of these reviews, it looks like I’m not the only person with similar problem. I really hope they can hire somebody else or an extra driver if they are struggling too much. I would also appreciate if I didn’t get lied to when asking for an update on my food. Rather than telling me my food is minutes away, let me know that the driver had some difficulties on the road and he will be late .. I would’ve asked for a refund if that was an option..

Absolutely awful. Ordered 1 hour and 45 minutes ago, rang 20 times. Can't get through and still no sign of food. Will be requesting a full refund as we have a whole family starving waiting for nearly 2 hours

Ordered 6 burgers and sides for myself and some friends, chicken burger was tasty and hot. Perfect delivery, and hand off. Would order again!

Brilliant. From the delivery to the eating. Came perfect timing, friendly driver. The food as soon as we unpacked it was incredible. We were actually so shocked at how amazing and well prepared and packed our order was. Portions big sizes all tastes lovely. We are really impressed! Food used to be really good. Then they started missing items from orders, you pay extra for chilli wedges and get normal wedges, you pay £2.50 extra for sweet potato fries and they send you normal fries that are normally just standard free with the meal, no refund from uber eats although I haven't got what I paid for. Chilli sauce on burger instead of bbq last time made my meal inedible, teriyaki chicken balls instead of Korean that we ordered. Shambles, don't bother ordering just call them and tell them how much you want to pay and let them choose the food you eat, because they don't listen to orders anyway. Boycotting this company and now I know wing Kings is the same,they can sod off too.

Ordered “wing kingz” off Uber eats as another person below, its Zizous. Order was supposed to be 15-35 mins, ended up being almost 1 hour and 30mins! Tried asking for updates on the app and no response, tried phoning the num er given on the app and this was a false number. I ended up having to go to the restaurant to ask where my food was yo be told it had just left. No real apology or explanation for why it was so late. We won't be ordering from there again.

Hygiene: zero, building makes it impossible. Exposed brick and untreated soft wood surfaces will be hiding toxic mold, detectable or not. Kitchen appears open plan, but is mostly hidden for good reason. Service: poor, opening times are misadvertised, or staff not paid enough to do the job until end of shift. Also do not give them your phone number, they sell contact details to spammers and scammers. Food is amazing, still never going back.

Ordered food for myself and the kids at 7.30pm, rang them at 8.30pm to query, I was told the driver just left. Blatant lie! Rang them at 9pm to be told the same. Glad I selected cash on delivery as kindly declined when it turned up at 9.20pm. Feel for the drivers working for them. Watch this space for generic apology...

Ordered through Uber eats, never received my drink as well as having bits missing from some of the food and when I rang up they said it will be sent out straight away. 30 minutes went by still nothing so I rang back up and they said they don’t have my address so I gave it to them. Another 30 minutes went by still nothing rang back and the women I spoke to when I explained the situation just laughed at me and said okay. And said it would be here in 15 minutes. 25 minutes later still nothing and have now been told another 5 minutes. Really not happy with the way I have been treated. WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK THERE AGAIN. staff are rude and don’t know how to respect customers over the phone.

Ordered “wing kingz” off Uber eats turns out its the same company … due between 4:45 -5:05 had to jump though hoops to even get the restaurant's number as they listed a False number on uber eats to contact them I called at 5:20pm asking where my order was I was told “will be there in 5 minutes actually no 15 mins no more than 20” I said it’s very unprofessional we’ve requested updates via the app for the food and I asked what they will do if it is not here in the time they said the woman on the phone asked someone else who I heard say “nothing” Extremely unprofessional and terrible service especially for how much was spent! Food eventually arrived at 5:40 no apologies nothing .. and to top it off cold food Food subpar also and nothing like described Avoid at all costs!
