No he estado aquí un par de años, pero era un cliente regular hace unos años, cuando yo era regularmente en Londres por negocios. Aldo Zilli es uno de los más acogedores y amables anfitriones que me he encontrado en un restaurante. Su comida es excelente, creativa y deliciosa. Cuando sabe que él le encargo mezcla nada tiene los ingredientes. Una vez cuando yo era correr en la puerta en lo que me temía era su hora de cierre, abrió la puerta y en respuesta a mi pregunta de estoy demasiado tarde? él respondió, ¡Noooo ... estás demasiado temprano. Venga y disfrute de un asiento!Nunca me han decepcionado tanto por la comida o el servicio aquí!

I know it sounds extreme, but I have never written a negative review for a restaurant, and this experience truly calls for me to write something. The waiter was kind (he was the flirty one) who was caught in a bad situation, but the manager was just a complete jerk who showed no courtesy or respect. He took a full-spoon out of my hand and a completely full plate, absent two bites, from me, telling me that I was done. I ordered the mussels and a risotto as my meal (early dinner on a weekday). At first, the manager (or the main guy in charge) said that the risotto should be kept warm to enjoy and that he'll keep it warm for me until I am done with the mussels. Well I eat pretty fast and I was done with my mussels (which were mediocre) in about 5 minutes. It took over 20 minutes to get my risotto that he was "keeping warm" and a lot of additional requests to finally get my food. When it came out, I asked for it to be comped. The waiter got the manager who asked what the problem was. I told him that he had informed me that my food was being kept warm, that the food didn't come out until after everyone else at my table finished eating and I thought it should be comped. He said "there's no problem. we have no problem." Our waiter then came out with the plate of risotto and said eat, there is no problem. So I began to eat a bite. The manager, who was at another table, started yelling at our waiter and came over to our table, took the spoon out of my hand which was nearing my mouth and the plate from me. He then had the nerve to try to argue with me to which I simply responded that that's not how you treat people or customers and asked for the check. Take from this what you will. The food that I did try was okay, not great, and certainly not the unwelcoming experience I received by the manager. Experience was by 30 year old Indian American in early June, 2010.

This has the seeds of a great restaurant. The food is good verging on excellent; the staff attentive and friendly and the whole enterprise is almost fantastic. It just needs to concentrate on doing what it does very well just that little bit better. We will return many times.

Recommended by our hotel for a pre-theatre meal, this bistro is owned by chef Aldo Zilli. The menu (see their website) has a range of 'Zilli bites', which can be ordered in main or starter-size portions and sharing is encouraged.My husband had "the best steak I can ever remember" and I had a very good vegetarian pasta. There are also side dishes. They were very flexible and willing to please and they happily prepared the steak without its normal garlic sauce. The desserts didn't excite quite as much but they were still good.Service was friendly and, yes, we were served the wrong table's meal, but that was quickly remedied. Service was also very quick as they knew we were in a hurry. I would recommend this for its very affordable good quality food and would also like to try Zilli Greens next door (vegetarian restaurant).

Five of us called in while in London nearby for a business lunch. Very different as you have to do down into an underground area. The decor is modern but with an industrial/classic feel. I am not a fan of pizza but we all ordered pizza as recommended by one of our group and I am glad we did as it was very good - as far as pizza goes. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend for somewhere interesting and quirky. The only down side was it was a bit pricey but I suppose we were in London!

Walking I noticed this small pizzeria characterized by a wood oven. The furniture is typical of an Italian trattoria. The staff is friendly, rapid and attentive to the customer just as you expect in Italy. The pizza is exceptional. The dough is well leavened and, therefore, light. The condiments are of excellent quality. Cooking is perfect. Excellent beer and ice cream also fully satisfies the palate. The account is adequate.

Me encanta la comida aquí, la baguette de salchichas de desayuno es el negocio, aunque el puntaje es bajo para el servicio, que generalmente es un poco "agudo".
