I have been here a few times. It’s a bit overpriced for what it is and where it is. The first two times i went i got the burrito, which was really nice. However it comes with a poached egg and i asked for a runny yolk and it wasn’t runny (no big deal). The third time i went i got the meatballs and pasta which was really poor. It was a few very cheap meatballs with some penne pasta and tomato based sauce. It was very similar to what i used to have at school at lunchtime, certainly not worth the £8.45. On one visit my friend got eggs royale (which should always come with runny yolks in the eggs). He asked for the yolks to be runny anyway just to clarify. When the food came the yolks were hard. He then queried this with the waitress who told him that next time he needed to request “extra runny yolks” which i thought was a bit cheeky to be honest. Overall i don’t think i’ll be going back. The staff are a bit odd and not very accommodating and the food is overpriced and nothing special.

regualrly visit this cafe for morning coffee/tea. Lovely friendly service and nothing is too much trouble. Recently took the family there for lunch. The menu is wide ranging and absolutely everything we had was well cooked and delicious. This place really is a little gem and deserves to be bujsy every day ...it usually is, particularly at lunch time.

Zigghy’s is a little café on Sydenham High Street with seating inside and out front to catch the sun. Good menu and I’ll be back to eat, but today it was just an Earl Grey Tea!

Probably one of the nicest cafes I’ve ever been to. Fair prices, Nice staff, big plates and they really fill them up! Amazing fry up, but don’t just think this is a normal cafe, they have all different Variety of foods, the calamari and cheese donuts are different class! Will definitely be coming here often :)

It's great to have a new cafe lower down Sydenham Road and a nice alternative to Brown & Green in Mayne Park. This was my first visit as they have only been open a month. It's brand spanking new an very clean. It was quiet to begin with. but that suited our purpose, but started to fill up during our 90 mins there. 2 great cappuccinos an 2 cups of tea and muffin and apple pie, both with cream with a raspberry on top - a nice touch. All served by the owners - a nice friendly couple who were keen to chat. (He's a Bowie music fan - hence the name (not sure about their spelling!!) Great value. They should do well and I wish them luck. I will return.

Lovely cute place, nice toasties, good coffee, nice service. My new breakfast place to go. I think they also have a donation drop off corner for Ukraine 🥰

This is a great example of a shop converted to a bar. I would consider myself a regular at Bob's. Child and dog-friendly, lovely staff, exciting selection of draught and bottled beers and great cocktails. It's not really a restaurant as such but has a link to the Cafe next door, so you can get food there. I recommend booking if you are going with a group as it gets very busy. Nice vibe!

So I found our recently that my favourite Bar Keep had relocated to this establishment so I decided to pay him a visit. Imagine my surprise to find this diamond of a pub. It's a pub, no food, just drink. A blast from the past. I must say it is a fantastic place. Great atmosphere, friendly locals and no pool hustlers like the last place I visited. A must visit

I eat here at least three times a week. The staff remember all of my favourites and can usually predict what I'm going to order. They really look after me. As well as your usual cafe menu, they also have a specials board, where you can get roast pork or shepherd's pie or steak pie (or whatever's on, usually multiple options) with all the trimmings, and for a very reasonable price, especially considering the quality of the food. On Fridays they usually do incredible fish and chips with a light and delicate yet crispy batter. But get there early to avoid disappointment, because the fish and chips often sells out by the end of lunch. In fact, I'm off there now...
