Great little place offering, in my opinion, one of the best Cantonese takeaways in the local area. My family and I order for collection from here on almost a weekly basis and the food is consistently of high quality and usually made quickly. The staff are very friendly and always endeavour to provide reliable service. The prices are also very reasonable. We are very happy eating from here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

If I could give -* I would no customer service skills rude passing through Radcliffe we got a take away after getting it home the food portions was small and the food looked poor once we sat dawn to eat my son had hair in his food so we rang them they asked us to bring the food back so we did we then was met with screaming and shouting the lady told us we just didn't want to pay this is not the case she then threatened us and our 10 year old swinging food at us swearing at us they are rude and hold no responsibility for the state of there food and customer service don't go here !!!

Food was fantastic, King Prawn curry, really nice sauce, lots of good sized King Prawns. Prawn balls V cripsy. Normal sized portions so fine for most normal people!! Chips...from a Chinese...really! lol :D

I tried zhans last night for the first time and I have to say delicious is an understatement I've lived in nottingham for 25 yrs and tried everything chinese takeaway possible to make char sui pork with pineapple without success but the one zhans made was exquisite lush and I finished the whole meal on my own my daughter and son in law have decided after their meal this is the only chinese takeaway for them from now on well done guys thoroughly recommend to anyone

The food from Zhans is always consistently fresh and clean tasting. The salt and pepper chips are the best we've tasted in the area and the king prawn with ginger and spring onion is just delicious. Can definitely recommend this take away.

A really great Chinese takeaway. Never had a bad meal from here. Everything tastes really fresh and cooked well. The portion sizes are a bit smaller than average but I’d rather quality over quantity. Our favourites are the prawn toast, house curry and sweet and sour chicken!

This is the best Chinese / Cantonese take away ever. Delicious food, great menu and excellent service. Food is well made and not greasy or bland. The chow mein is the best I have ever had, including from restaurants.They also do peking spare ribs well, my favourite and not on many menu's. They have not changed. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so, even though I live a few miles away. It is very popular with my friends and family too.

Love this place. I’ve been ordering our takeaways hear for years and we’re never disappointed. The chicken curry is my favourite and I’ve never had another one anywhere else that is better. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Ordered a curry got a chow mein. Crispy spring roll was soggy, definately not crispy. Portion sizes are tiny. Very greasy. Will definitely not use again. Very disappointed.

I ordered a take away from Zhan's today for the first time. The quality of the food is fantastic even if it comes is small portions. Will order again from the variety the sell in the menu

Ordered over the phone. Was told 45 min wait. When arrived in 45 minutes was told to wait for a further 15 minutes, not the end of the world but would rather have spent that time at home. Ordered salt and pepper chips, DONT ORDER!!! Chips very salty covered in chilli powder. No fresh pepper or onion. Called to check if it was a mistake and very rudely was told it was not a mistake and its my problem not theirs. I payed £3.50 for a small bag of inedible chips. If your looking for a local chinese check out bingham, they have two really good places. Partner ordered chicken satay which was very dry and chicken balls which tasted ok but where very small. All in all very expensive and not very nice.

Has good as it's always been. So glad there are open again. Still the best chinese food around.

Ordered for collection, arrived at the allotted time, no-one at service desk despite calling them twice, could see my bag of food behind the counter.. eventually collected after some wait... arrived home (5 min drive).. all dishes were cold and needed to be warmed up in microwave. Dishes were half the size of a typical take-away. Paid over £27 for food for three people (largely veggie.. pic of broccoli and Chinese mushrooms in oyster sauce for £4 )...had to supplement with a pouch of microwaveable rice and still hungry (hangry!) after eating it. Positives.. the menu is extensive with plenty of veggie options and one of the dishes was pretty good (and would have been really good if it was warm and not a child portion) First visit to this place, will not be returning. Worst Chinese take-away ever.

£8.45 meal for one ....smallest veg spring roll I've ever seen (it was that small I went back to the place to check.. I thought I done well and got 5 chicken balls)..but no....4 x chicken balls (Yep 4) tiny tub of s&s sauce .. fried rice ok..chicken and mushroom was ....15 parts mushroom and 5 parts microscopic sized chicken ..so call that mushroom and chicken.....rip off

At last, found a Cantonese takeaway which serves freshly cooked food and does not look like a microwave meal warmed up. Also tastes fantastic.

I've never felt the need to leave a review for a takeaway or restaurant before but a meal for two from Zhans at the weekend was too small, sloppy and too salty. As well as being slightly more expensive than most, the plastic trays are much smaller than elsewhere and they barely half fill them.

Ordered food and was told 45 minute wait which was fair enough, I thought this must be a good place as they were so busy. Get food home and the quantity of food was the worst ive had from a Chinese takeaway, the quality was just as poor, chips were over cooked and the chow mien was also overcooked , prawns was so over done they resembled little dried meal worms All this said it was well over priced and will never use this place again Very disappointing

Disappointing, food was late and cold

I have just paid £40 for 2 x set meals and very disappointed with the meals. More sauce and onions than meat or prawn. I will not be purchasing a meal from here again.

Good food at a reasonable price means I can definitely recommend it as a takeaway treat that we all like to have of an evening ! Can be a little slow to get served but don’t let that put you off.

Worst Chinese I've ever bought, got crispy shredded beef with my order and it was 98% batter and massively oversized as the dish goes, portions were lousy - timekeeping wasn't too bad, would say also over priced.... Bring back fusion!!!

Placed the order - they overcharged by £7, we queried this, they recalculated at an overcharge of £5. Queried again, and she said she had charged for a different starter £3.50 more than what we'd asked for. Bad maths. Out comes another lady who queries which starter we ordered. Explained again and she said 'maybe you got confused, some people say they want a barbecue rib meaning they want 6 peking ribs, but on our menu its the barbecue rib'. Explained again that we had indeed ordered the barbecue rib, she repeated the above, as did we, and then said 'and that's what you asked for?', we said yes, she said 'and that's what she wrote down?', we said, 'presumably yes.' She said 'it'll be another 10 mins then'. We sat and waited, food arrived 10 mins later, all but the rib emerged luke warm, accompanied with another telling off that the ribs were different - silly us. We apologised twice in case we had confused them for ordering rightly from the start: they apologised not at all. Food would have been nice if it wasn't predominantly luke warm and a bad experience.

Not bad, tasty with a decent selection of dishes, slightly above average price-wise. - But at peak times you can have a long wait, sometimes they get your order wrong and sometimes they can be a bit rude. But my main gripe is with the size of the portions, 99% of takeaways use the standard size of plastic container (about 40mm deep) but Zhans containers are only 25mm deep meaning that the portions are only 2 thirds what one would normally expect, not great value and no use if you are hungry.
